For the second year, we have ordered some Prosecco we really like from Butlers - last year by phone and this year on line via their website - and on both occasions the service has been excellent and the delivery prompt. My sister who lives in Brighton - we're in Exeter - recommended them.

Helpful, friendly service, lovely wine..but opening hours a bit confusing, sometimes I shop at opening times given on the door and frequently find the shop shut.

My partner is a bit of a wine snob (in the nicest possible way) and I know next to nothing about wine. I walked in, told them what he usually drinks, told them my budget and was very quickly recommended a bottle which I purchased. He must have said how impressed he was with it at least three times during the evening and that the staff really knew their stuff. Quick and easy service for me and a happy partner! I will definitely always go here for my wine now.

We discovered Butlers many years ago after drinking a delicious red wine that accompanied our lunch at Chilli Pickle. They told us who supplied it and we were straight round there to buy more. The choice in the shop is amazing, the staff are always friendly, informed and helpful. The tasting nights are brilliant and Henry always has the assembled crowd in stitches. They also sell great spirits and ales, so what's not to like?
