Purchased a jon renau steamer for my synthetic wig after watching reviews of people using the product. As this is a product from the USA and their voltage is 110, you need an adaptor to reduce the voltage from UK 240v to US 110v. I thought as KY are selling this product to customers in the UK, the adaptor would come with the Steamer. No. I was wrong. You have to purchase a reducing voltage convertor separately and they aren't cheap! They range from £50 - £100 depending on the type. I requested advice from KY but was told they don't recommend any particular brand of adaptor. There are quite a few on the market, available on line but I can find no information about which type is best to use with this Steamer. It has to be 300w at least, but some of them tell you not to use with hair dryers, or heated hair products. All very confusing. I've had no good advice or help from KY, who are selling these Steamers in the UK and Europe. Now they won't give me a refund for this item which has never left the box it arrived in! Very poor, unhelpful customer service. I will be seeking further advice on my consumer rights regarding this matter. If you're considering buying a Jon Renau Steamer, be aware of this before you purchase.

Kristina Young is a lovely person and her website gives you a really good idea of what you're going to get. She clearly spends a lot of time videoing all the wigs and toppers for her website. I had an issue with a topper that was on perpetual back order and she was able to talk it all through with me until it was all resolved. She's great!
