I had bought the "Classical" symphony some time ago with the same forces and had enjoyed the performance and recording. With the same orchestra and conductor, I decided to buy the recording of the composer's 3rd symphony, as I have always been fond of the work. Having played it twice, now there are a few moments in the first movement that raised my eyebrows but otherwise I found it enjoyable.

Good selection in music. Highest quality available on the market. Reasonable prices.

Offering music download at the highest possible resolution is great. It will even be better at a bit lower price and more labels like ECM participating.

Fast and easy purchase

I downloaded the sampler DSD tracks in DSD256 resolution. The first track had sharp high frequency content, and almost no bass content. The second track was very clear in the mid range but again I was disappointed to hear almost no content above ~2KHz. The third track has a better spread of frequency content across the audio spectrum. The female vocals pop out on to the space between the speakers with excellent imaging. Again, I was left longing for some deep bass. The equipment setup is an Eversolo DMP-A8 streamer and DAC, XLR outputs to my Krell KSA-20OS with Martin Logan Ascent-i's for speakers, with MIT-2 bi-wire speaker cables and Nordost Blue Heaven XLR Interconnects from the DMP to the Krell. I am yet to be blown away by the sampler.

I love the way NativeDSD champions DSD recordings. I look forward to each week's newsletter as it generally includes a good balance of high quality recordings of 'favourites' and works that are more challenging but sometimes more rewarding. The site is easy to use, as is the file downloading app.

Good website and Downloader. Just hope to have more popular and classic rock music in the catalog, if it is possible.

Music files are good, but the price is too expensive for my country in general. People will have to work 2 days without paying anything else to buy an album with 5 songs.
