Excellent work

I was so upset when I realised my unwitting mistake in not filing income taxes (or later FATCA forms.) I had moved permanently to the UK 36 years ago, got married to a UK citizen, acquired UK citizenship myself, and never realised I should have been continuing to file USA tax forms. It was a fluke (a letter from my new bank) that I found out what I'd missed. This left me very frightened and not knowing where to turn to get it sorted. A friend brought Greenback to my attention. They responded immediately when I contacted them, set me up with an accountant, and got the Streamlined process started for me. My accountant was fantastic ...answered all my questions immediately, and informed me of what information he needed in order to get my Streamlined application ready, my 6 years of back FATCA forms filled out, and my past 3 years of income tax forms done. It took me nearly a month to gather all my information together (bank statements, statements from my investment account, income figures etc) but once I had this information, he was VERY quick to get the forms finished. He submitted the online forms to the IRS for me, and sent me what I needed to print off and send the required paper forms via (DHL) courier to the head office in Austin, Texas. As of today, i received proof that my paper forms have been delivered to the tax centre ...so I am now clear for my past years of not filing. What a relief! Compared to other sites I investigated, Greenback pricing is transparent and very very fair. They make it easy to pay (via Credit Card) but there are options for those who don't have credit cards to also use the service. Throughout the process, they kept me totally informed. Their website is easy to navigate, to use, and is secure. The staff are friendly, accessible, and the interactions feel personal. I can't praise them enough. I will certainly use them again, and will recommend them to anyone who needs this kind of tax help. They are a lifeline for people like me.

I am so glad that I have found them. I am sure there are cheaper solutions out there but what is much more important to me is that my taxes are done right and that my mind is at ease whenever it's tax season.

I would not recommend this company at all. My accountant said she'd get my return draft to me within 3 business days. She did not respond until a week later. I have since emailed her 3 days in a row with very simple questions to finalize my return with no response. I have also contacted the company chat which has done nothing. Because of their poor customer service, I will either be forced to pay expensive overnight mail from abroad to get my return in on time and/or late fees for my tax payment. All of this could have been avoided with responsive communication. This is not a cheap service so I am very disappointed. I will not use Green Back again.
