They had notes on record about accessing the property and explained the process for ordering and delivery including info about typical usage so we could calculate how much we needed. Purchased from them based on their helpful and friendly attitude plus their competitive price. Was not disappointed. Didn’t catch the name of the gentleman staffing the phone but big shout out to him and to Ryan C the delivery driver.

Almost out of oil and cold weather approaching again, I will never use this amatuer outfit again, shopping around but nobody can get oil to me within a few days without a rip off extra charge.

As well as being a supplier to Moorland Fuels, they also look after a large amount of my customers in their region for fuels. Never had any issues, communication is excellent and couldn't hold this company in a higher regard if i tried.

United Kingdom | 23 January 2024Significant delays in delivery dates that they themselves set. Once in Oct 23 & again in Jan 24. Probably the biggest issue for me is the massive lack of keeping you up to date. Promising delivery dates and then not turning up. Not contacting you to advise of the non deliveries & not returning phone calls that they themselves promised. These are just basic good customer service standards and the company needs to go back to basics on this. Currently, I would not recommend this company and have transferred my business to another local company and shall not return back to Moorlands ever.

Three missed delivery dates over a period of 6 weeks, with excuses each time that I called to tell them (no one ever called me). It looks like this company has just given up. They have knowingly promised us 'assured' deliveries to an 87 year old man living alone and a holiday let business with no heating, and prevented us from finding an alternative. I have now gone to Watsons and found them excellent. Would never return to Moorland. Please stay away for your own good!

Shaughn and Mikey came out on the day and did the job in a friendly, efficient and completely trouble free manner. I was very impressed with the promptness of their response and how quickly things came back to normal with the heating etc. due to their diligence and care. Would have no hesitation in making a recommendation in such an emergency. Many thanks indeed to all!

United Kingdom | 19 December 2023As a regular customer we ordered oil weeks ago but despite ringing and emailing customer services we have still no oil delivered. They agreed on the phone last week that they were over the delivery date of the 15 days I was given. I rang again 4 days ago explaining there are 2 children here with disabilities and was told they would deliver 3 days ago. No oil came. Rang again to be told it was didn't go out for delivery on that agreed date and 2 days later is still not on the list for yesterday. A phone call this morning to tell us they won't be delivering any oil to us until next year! Today is 19th Dec so they are knowingly leaving a family with disabled children with no heating or hot water over Christmas and New Year. Moorland Fuels rang this morning to say one driver is off sick today which if course happens but how this is supposed to be an explanation on not fulfilling a contract for weeks!? Bizarrely they suggested we drove to Okehampton to buy fuel packs from them in addition to our already placed order, which is a hugely expensive way of buying fuel with no intention of any recompense whatsoever. I see from other reviews they seem to have been taken over by a larger company. I have previously recommended this company so many times to others this is beyond disappointing.
