United Kingdom | 11 February 2021In the past, Moorland Fuels have been excellent, but I'm afraid that recently the standard has fallen. There was a time when one ordered oil and it would turn up within two or three days. Recently, the time has been getting longer and longer until this time, it was 10 days and we were down to our last 100 litres. When I phoned the day before we were finally visited, I was told that the delivery was still within their parameters of when it should be done from our order; however, he couldn't tell me what the time span was. I also said that if the goalposts had been moved (in other words, the time between ordering and delivering had increased) then surely we should have been told so that we could make allowances. This also seemed to be met with indifference. We have been with them since moving here in 2006, and they have been excellent; however this past year has seen a big reduction in the quality of service. There has also been a big hike in the price per litre which is a little strange given that the price of diesel sold at petrol stations has remained very static. I don't want to move elsewhere as I try to be loyal to those companies I deal with. However, loyalty must work both ways and if there isn't an improvement then I shall look elsewhere.
