Reviews for trades people are not balanced and the platform does not include any negative reviews or poor experiences.

I requested fencing quotes…..three responded, two attended and quoted. I submitted quotes to local Council who is the adjoining owner and attempted to contact successful tenderer, Babak Constructions. My calls not returned; SMS ignored, email returned “undeliverable”.

I received two good proposals for weeding (one from Origin Landscape and the other from Zino Gardening), promptly and politely, accepted the one from Zino and proceeded with a good result. In the meantime I have received further responses from two late comers who I advised that the job was already underway.

Brayden answered our request within minutes, arrived shortly afterwards to provide a quote, and fitted us in the following Monday and Tuesday, during which two days he completed a range of complicated and varied repairs and replacements; we couldn't have been more happy with the friendly, efficient service he provided and the whole project was made as smooth as possible by him.

Contacted Hipages re a tiler. Had a good response and contacted Davide the Tiler. Before contacting, we read his reviews which were excellent. Davide came straight away and quoted for the job. He was also able to refer us to a tile shop and he rang ahead to discuss our needs with the owner. Within a few days he came and completed the job, which was to tile over old tiles in two bathrooms with new tiles. He is very pleasant, efficient, organised, and worked non-stop for two and a half days to complete the job. He also kept disruption and mess to a minimum, and tidied up completely when he finished. We would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Companies return my straight away then not interested in coming out and seeing job. I sent photos through to them and haven’t heard back.

Not recommended service, they don't know tradies and spreading frauds, quotes are overcharged , hipages can't help you to recover deposit money from tradies who starting job wrongly or doesn't want to start.

I could not recommend hipages enough after getting a vibe that I was being over quoted from a plumber I put an ad on hipages to get other quotes from those in the industry to see if it was comparable and turns out my gut instinct was correct. Hipages was so simple to use I posted my ad and within half an hour I had 3 companies contact me, organised to come out the next morning for a quote and the work was completed the next day it’s a great service
