United Kingdom | 12 August 2024I'd been looking for a lease vehicle and ZenAuto came up with good references. I contacted them via email on a specific vehicle and package I was interested in. Within a few minutes I had Riz reply with instructions on creating a login, and then sending through a quotation. From the start to having the document signed was less than an hour or so. Fantastic service so far, and so easy to process the documents. Been really impressed.

United Kingdom | 27 July 2024I called to ask about another lease car as my lease with Zen Auto was due for renewal. The person on the end of the phone said have you looked at our website. Next time before telling someone that, why don't you listen to what the customer wants as I was about to tell him the car I was interested in. Oh well signed up with someone else now!

United Kingdom | 06 July 2024*Updated review following contact from CS team* I’ve had a lot of issues trying to get 4 safety recalls dealt with, and have been left without a working car for significant periods of time, but this has been mostly due to Audi Southend's very poor customer service. I initially struggled to get the support I needed from ZenAuto, however once Collette and Emily stepped in everything improved and things got sorted, which has been a massive relief and very much appreciated. Overall, apart from the many issues with the car, the package from ZenAuto (with maintenance) was good.

United Kingdom | 04 July 2024Reasonably simple process although said driving license was prove of ID on application. Later email asked for passport plus two other options but no mention of driving license. All in all not bad.

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024Having had a very nice and lovely Cupra Leon for 2.5 (on 3 year lease) years so far and the request to extend for another year based on my mileage made it actually cheaper a month, nice simple fast service, hopefully take another car once this one is done from ZenAuto👍👍

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024Contacted Zen Auto via the breakdown helpline,after a tyre puncture.The response was very efficient and professional, even to the point of customer service transferring me directly to the AA breakdown service.The AA were with me within 20 mins.All in all a very satisfactory outcome, especially as I had three of my very young grandchildren in the car with me!

United Kingdom | 27 June 2024Zen auto claim that there is rippling to the paint work of a car I handed back but are unable to provide evidence. They are requesting £163 at the end of the lease despite me getting the all clear from an end of lease check I paid fo from an independent body shop. This has been dragging on for months now. Would not use again and would not recommend anyone i know to use them

United Kingdom | 21 June 2024Just returned my 4 year old car and been hit with a huge bill for "damage". It was obvious when the gentleman arrived to collect the car that he was on a mission to find faults and a bill was expected. The car was returned in extremely good condition and low mileage, but any signs of normal wear and tear were deemed to be outside the parameters allowed. Even a small scuff that I had resprayed wasn't good enough. I'm a very cautious driver and I've leased cars for the last 20 years. This was the first time I've been charged for damage. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. There are better companies out there with much fairer views on fair wear and tear. Don't recommend and will never use again.

I took the time to read every line of the 18 page Agreement and like all legal stuff some clauses can be a bit scary. Nowadays, gap insurance is essential and great care must be taken to keep the car in very good nick ... or there could be added costs when handing back.

And in addition, responsive and helpful support from the team to make the whole process seamless and easy. What's not to like about that?

They came back and said I would be charge £628 for some minor scratches that would be T cut out, initial inspection on my drive was all clear. I disputed this but they then illegally took the money from my bank account. This is illegal and basic theft. Be very aware - crooks

United Kingdom | 10 February 2024My original (and first personal lease vehicle) was an amazing find, an awful lot of car for the money. I extended the lease period twice and each time the basics (great personable customer service and costs) were evident. Based on this I now have my second personal lease car from ZenAuto. A seamless key for key hand over and again great end to end service. Initially I was extremely cautious about 'lease cars' but my experience to date (end to end with ZenAuto) has evidenced that this is a great way to run a car - without the downsides (e.g. depreciation, changing legislation, upfront costs etc.) Ok - the car is never yours but the cost of running a great car is (arguably) less than the depreciation/ cost of finance/ loss of interest on savings of other means of running a car.

United Kingdom | 08 February 2024Leased with ZenAuto when their pricing was very good and now coming to end decided to lease again. Prices weren't as competitive but they matched best deal I could find online, so went ahead again and they didn't charge the admin fee.
