This was a very nice cabin to rent. Very close to Boone and Banner Elk. The outdoor decks were very pleasant to sit and view. The house is not completely secluded, although you have plenty of privacy. I would recommend this property if you’re looking for a cabin, not too far out of town.

Cabin was seculded so while not to far from necessities like gas and groceries it was very nice to feel isolated in mountains and woods. Despite rural location, has all amenities of home. Recommend arriving in daylight to navigate the mountain roads. Best if in a truck or AWD vehicle.

Booked our 6th reservation with blueridge rentals and the home had a few issues but the team did what they could to resolve the problems to make our stay better. I would still rate them 5 star even though their attention to detail this time wasn't 100 percent. The home wifi password was changed by maintenance but management didn't update it on the welcome email and the office still had the old password. The power also went out during our stay and we notified management and they stated they would keep us informed. The power was restored within 2 hours and we never heard back from anyone? They have alot of properties to handle and I can't expect 5 star service every time.

This is our third time renting, and will continue renting through BRM Rentals. Places have always been very clean, and easy booking process. I’ve even referred one of my partners who now has a rental booked for November.

We had an amazing time at Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. The location was perfect for hiking, fishing, and exploring the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!"

We arrived at the property and the deck / stairs had been freshly stained and they were not dry, they were still tacky and probably have foot prints from bluestone dust. Water pressure is pretty bad and if someone is showering downstairs, there is hardly any pressure at all upstairs. The ceiling fan upstairs bedroom makes a horrible sound when you turn it on and only one lamp in the fan worked when we arrived. That lamp burnt out about 2 hours after being there and then there were NO lights that worked in the fan / light fixture. There were two very obvious urine stains on the comforter, right near the pillows where we lay our heads . . .that was disgusting! The sheets / pillow cases clearly had not been changed in this room. The upstairs bathroom had a broken shower curtain rod that was left leaning in the corner, there are water or mold stains throughout. My wife described this bathroom as looking like a crime scene. The carpets throughout were pet urine stained . . . I've stayed at many pet friendly rentals . . .the carpets in this one were the worst i've ever experienced. As mentioned earlier, there were even urine stains on the comforter. That is easy to deal with, but it was left . . . what a repulsive welcome . . . urine on the comforter where you're going to sleep at night. one of the legs on an ottoman was broken and it had been carefully set up to look normal. The first time we moved it, the front leg folded. Why not just remove the ottoman. The vent cover from the microwave was missing . . .who cares but it was par for the course. As was the case in the upstairs bathroom, water stains are prevalent throughout the space but really bad in the bathroom. The common bathroom had a broken toilet paper holder and there was a roll placed on the sink. Not a huge deal, but just like the rest of the property . . . nothing is well maintained. We were in town for a wedding and we were in and out. No one wants to arrive and have to call to have maintenance done during your visit while you have guests in the home. We were there for the wedding and chose a house so some of us could stay together and thought that it would be more enjoyable and more comfortable than a hotel. Due to the nature and as is common in today's world, I had remote work to wrap up over the weekend. I could not access WiFi and this was important the other stuff i decided to live with. I called for help with the password . . . the password provided did not work. Support offered password support but only offered the one that had already been provided. They offered to come out saturday night and when I told them that was the night of the wedding and we wouldn't be in the unit, i never heard back from them. WiFi isn't important, it was a necessity. Someone had clearly replaced the netgear router with a new router prior to our arrival, but it was not accessible to any of the guests due to lack of a password. This didn't only affect my ability to finish my work, but also affected the other guest from being able to stream to the t.v.s so most of the t.v. were useless.

The entire staff, everyone we came in contact with, were helpful and friendly. We came right before Hurricane Helene and had to cut our visit short. We are praying for all the families and businesses that have been so severely impacted by the devastation.

My husband and I, a friend, and our dog Ginger Clarita stayed at Celestial View from Sept 9 through Sept 15. What a wonderful experience!! The house is beyond beautiful, the view was exquisite, the accommodations exceptional, and the weather was warm and sunny for most of the stay. I've never seen such a gorgeous and functional kitchen. Everything we needed was there, except food of course, which was easily attained by driving a short distance to Boone or Blowing Rock. Sitting on the back porch and enjoying the awesome view, was so relaxing and tranquil. The only drawback was that there is not a TV in the two smaller bedrooms. Everything else was everything we could have asked for. We've stayed in several rentals in the Boone area and while all were nice, this was by far the BEST. We hope to return. Our sincere condolences to all those in the area who suffered loss from Helene.

This is the fourth year we have returned to Overlook Estate for our family vacation. It is an incredible place that is perfect for a family vacation. Working with Blue Ridge Rentals was seamless. Great customer service!

Two families, 9 ppl total. There was no place else in the world we’d rather be. We had issues with the door code but they were available and fast to remedy the issue. They also don’t allow renters to use the gas key to start the fire place. Annoying but still a 5 star experience.

Blue Ridge Rentals was very helpful in finding just the right place for our family reunion. Fourteen of us loved Sunnyside Farm and it had perfect spaces for our gathering! I highly recommend both Blue Ridge Rentals and Sunnyside Farm.

location. plenty of room, clean except someone had left a dirty dish and fork in sink. we called about it, just so you'd know. Maybe one of the Unless we missed it, we had to carry our garbage to a trash bin in Boone. Would we stay there again? definitely. The communication was great and very easy.
