Netherlands | 08 February 2022this knife exceeded all my expectations! It's NOT some low quality, cheap thing that will be replaced in a year or so. Not at all! This is steel of very good quality, keeps sharpness nicely and does not rust. I have the feeling it will serve me well for a long time. And the shape is just perfect. Nicely rounded, very practical for different types of cuts.

Li que alguns revisores mencionam a qualidade da bainha, mas devo dizer que ou o vendedor melhorou a bainha ou eu não sou tão versado em bainhas de couro quanto alguns. Digo isto porque acho a qualidade bastante aceitável e agradável! Esta coisa cabe em sua mão como uma luva. O buraco do dedo faz com que pareça uma extensão de sua mão. Junto com o buraco, a curvatura na parte superior permite que sua mão obtenha tanta compra no cabo e parece realmente que você é um com a lâmina.

Hong Kong | 28 January 2022Habe nach den Berichten 4 Messer als Weihnachtsgeschenk gekauft. Da diese erst Anfang Januar 2022 angekommen sind, möchte ich diese zurückgeben. Haarko verweigert die zugesagte kostenlose Rückgabe innerhalb von 14 Tagen, da ein Rücksendelabel ins Ausland nicht möglich sei. Anfragen direkt per Email blieben unbeantwortet, die vorige Antwort kam erst, als PayPal eingeschaltet wurde. Kann jetzt auch nach fast 3 Wochen die Messer nicht zurück schicken.

United States | 16 January 2022If I could I would rate this company at a NEGATIVE 5 stars! After seeing a commercial on TV, I decided to try one of these knives. They look fantastic! BOY WHAT A MISTAKE! I never have been able to try the knife myself. During the web site ordering process, I was inundated with pop ups offering me additional items related to the knives. I was under the impression that the additional items were “added” on to my original order & that the $$ amount that was shown was my TOTAL. I did NOT understand that EACH item I added on was the amount shown on the screen. Imagine my surprise when I received an email from PayPal informing me of the THREE orders each $45-$55!! I spent over $150.00!! I IMMEDIATELY contacted the company & explained that I did NOT want the “add-ons”. I was told they would do their best to change my order. Then FIVE days later I get another email telling me that my “order is on it’s way”. I immediately contacted the company by “CHAT” on the web site. The lady on the chat said she could refund 50% of the price!! I let her know that it was not my doing that sent an unwanted order out that had been CANCELED FIVE days prior, & that I wanted 100% of my money refunded & absolutely did not want ANY merchandise from them if they were going to be that dishonest & try to scam me. I was told that my order couldn’t be changed, it was to late it had been processed, even though it had been FIVE days & I had contacted the company within 8 hours of the order being placed. When I did get the package in the mail it was a plastic bag & it was shredded on some corners & there were holes all over it so I taped it together the best I could, only to find out that I couldn’t just deny delivery, I now had to pay $22.00 to ship it back because I had "altered" the original package!!! Then I get an email from the package company saying that they can’t deliver the package because it only has a PO BOX !! When I contacted the knife company, they wouldn't/couldn’t give me the address. They said since I had filed a complaint about the $150.00 that they charged me, they can’t give me the address!! I am unsure when, but I know I will be getting that package back & when it comes time that they will FINALLY give me the address, I will have to pay an ADDITIONAL $22.00 to FINALLY ship the knives back to them!! So this mistake will cost me over $200.00!! This company is a NIGHTMARE to work with! If you don’t want a headache, I suggest going elsewhere & purchasing ANY other company’s knives & let this company SIT ON THEIRS!!!! I will raise my review from 1 star to 3 stars because I still feel that there is some work they need to do with their customer service. I am happy to say that the company did in fact refund the entire amount of money. I do hope they will also make some changes to the training of their representatives if they are going to refund your money in the end anyway they should train them to say that, not bicker with you until you are so upset you feel the need to look elsewhere for assistance in getting your money back.

United Kingdom | 10 January 2022I purchased two haarko knives completed with sheathes prior to christmas. When I received them I realised that they were not what I was looking for. I knew that there was a 15% restocking charge, which I accepted, but the website was not clear on other hidden charges. I paid over£14 to return the knives to lithuania, and then was also charged a £7.50 return fee. An expensive mistake on my part, but all the charges have made this an unfortunate experience 28/1/2022: update, haarko never sorted out anything, seems to me that they put a lot of effort into maintaining an image of good service, but no substance to their actions. It would be interesting to ask all the other customers what their experience of aftersales was like, mine was nothing at all

United Kingdom | 09 January 2022In my opinion. For the record, I purchased a Huusk knife believing it to be the only knife I would need. The Haarko claims to be the ONLY knife I would need. Somebody is not being honest. One other thing, it/they appear to be Japanese; they are both MADE in Western China not Japan.

Cambodia | 06 January 2022I am a butcher at a marketplace in our city. A regular customer gave me a haarko knife as Christmas gift. I find it very effective in slicing my meats. I use it to cut and slice beef, pork, lamb, and chicken. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of my customer, this knife is the best that I had.

United States | 10 December 2021In spite of the number of days it took for the knife to be shipped to me, I would say it’s worth the wait my husband loved my surprise present for him since he loved to do the cooking at our home, it made cutting poultry meats and vegetables more stylish and of course more efficient from him.

After i placed my order i was then charged an adjusted price in US dollars. There was no mention at that time of US dollars. They have now updated their ads with AU in front of the $. My 1st complaint was rejected and future emails ignored. I am now taking it further with Consumer Affairs etc. Paul.

Germany | 14 November 2021Die Messer sind weder so scharf wie in der Werbung beschrieben, noch ist eine Rücksendung möglich. Der Verkäufer reagiert nicht auf E-Mails. Telefonisch wird man von einem Callcenter zum anderen verwiesen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!!!

It has the feels of being well balanced and the finger hole gives you better ease and control while using the knife itself. The leather sheath is of high quality and I would highly recommend this knife to my friends.
