Good Product, bit long in waiting for delivery (mechanical problem), now used a few times and satisfies

Good quality product but too expensive. Due to physical problems I cannot stack logs so I have had a store built very close to the road. The charge for stacking is outrageous even though it could not be more convenient. This autumn I am using another source. BLC has no flexibility for people in difficult circumstances.

Good quality wood, really nice people. On time delivery. What else can you ask for?

Thank you Berkshire Logs. When there was a technology issue that disrupted deliveries, you sorted it and learnt from it. I am delighted with the two jumbo bags of barn seasoned logs.

Once again Berkshire Logs have delivered a jumbo sack of their barn seasoned logs. delivered on time and to the right location. Perfect for our pizza oven and log burner. Look great when stacked too! Great service and quality of product.

I bought two large bags a week ago. They were supposed to be delieveredast Friday but did not arrive. I had a message on my voicemail to let me know but there seems to be no way I can call back to make sure that you know that even if I am not in, my office staff are, via the side door

Good dry logs are difficult to come by in this area. Berkshire Logs were great and I'll use them again in the autumn.

Delivery people were helpful and friendly. I received a text prior to the delivery to let me know when it would be arriving which was really helpful. Product seems fine.

I am supposedly out of the area for delivery. This is a shame because I only bought following a recommendation. The system didn't specify a maximum area from or delivery, allowed me to complete my purchase and then I simply received an automated refund (and advisory email) a few days later. No opportunity to pay for delivery etc. Shame. I've found an alternative.

Good quality logs. However I got an email at 16:56 explains delivery between 1800-1900 but 3 mins later was called to say logs were at house. I couldn't make it back do they were just dumped and left in sack I needed half of them moved around the back of house Seemed more interested in finishing early (Friday eve)

Excellent company to deal with. Wood supplied in a big white big put in our garage. Wood was very dry and perfectly cut so stacks easily. Quick Delivery and good communication. What more can you ask for?

This is the first time I've used this log company. I like the no nonsense on-line ordering and the fact that delivery information is sent by email. I was a little worried about on-line payment before delivery but in the end need not have been. The young man I spoke to, Patrick, phoned to say there might be a problem delivering all the order on time but that issue was resolves quickly and the wood came at the time he said it would be delivered. I think the price is comparatively high but the quality of the product is very good. Would I use this local company again? More than likely. Would I recommend them? On the basis of this experience; yes.

Most importantly, the logs are great. There was very little bark litter, etc, in the bag, all solid logs. We bought kiln-dried ash and they burn for ages. Really just need a couple of logs for an evening. The delivery was a little confusing. I was expecting notification within 48 hours but ended up calling after 4 days to be told they were scheduled for delivery the next day, in the afternoon. Then I received message at 10.16am the next morning saying they were arriving at 10.11am?! I hung around for half an hour but no one showed and the phone went to answer machine. However, when I arrived home, the delivery had been, and the logs positioned very considerately - and where I had requested. So something to be aware of but certainly not a reason not to use them. We will definitely order from Berkshire Logs again.
