United Kingdom | 13 February 2020It was convenient to book our hotel and rail travel at the same time, however the cost saving wasn't massive and you have to weigh that against the restrictions on the train tickets. Our tickets could be used with only one operator, and the train we had booked on to travel to York was cancelled (station staff said that particular service had been cancelled for at least a few weeks) but no-one at Hotel Direct contacted us in advance to let us know, and we had to wait for over 90 minutes for the next available train. Meanwhile there were several trains run by other operators that we could have taken if not precluded by the terms of our tickets. In future we will book direct to ensure our train tickets are more flexible.

United Kingdom | 12 February 2020The Hotel was very good, helpful staff, the location was superb, we stayed in the president hotel, Russell Square, we did have trouble checking in, although I had printed everything off , to say I’d booked the hotel room, the receptionist could not find my name to confirm booking! Which meant we had to sit in the lobby for 30+ minutes while the receptionist made a few phone calls! , eventually she confirmed the booking! Show was amazing! And was able to pick up our tickets enroute to our hotel, at least 5 hours before the show started, we had a great weekend stay here! Just a shame about the hotel reservation!!!

United Kingdom | 11 February 2020At Giles Hotel London......Hotel is within walking distance of many theatres, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, China Town. British Museum, Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and National Gallery. Hotel room was very clean and well equipped although there was no fridge. Breakfast was excellent and the theatre pre dinner menu was very good and extremely reasonably priced. Would have no hesitation to stay there again

Loved that you could look at where hotels were in relation to your choice of venue as well & directions from main transport links show on your confirmation booking. Great savings booked as a package rather than separately

Having priced both separately I felt I had a really good deal using Hotel Direct. All the confirmations were sent through by email and everything went very smoothly. Would not hesitate to use again.

Everything worked out from Train tickets to Hotel reservation to Theatre tickets. We had a wonderful weekend in London and I would definitely book through Hotel Direct again. No problems at all.

Absolute marvellous allocated seats first class on train and then a beautiful located hits on the Thames overlooking the tower bridge. However return journey back on train first class but not got allocated seats. The problems we had with other people on the train that’s my seat can you move .... should you be in the first class section. Absolute horrid. Ask the train conductor and said sit where there are no reserve tickets. However all the seats had reserve tickets and the conductor said there is no room in the first class section. So we had to wait and see where the free spaces in first class. Absolute spoilt a perfect weekend. Feedback please allocate customers seats in return journey and not just outbound
