I've had problems with hair lose for about 5 years, I have an issue with my Thyroid and I've been taking some form of HRT since I was 21 (Chemotherapy & radiotherapy for leukaemia caused premature menopause) I'm now 46. Because of those things, attempts to get my beautiful hair back have been difficult. In the last few years my hairloss has gotten particularly bad, I've tried all sorts of things including "hair fact" pills and a laser helmet. I had smp where you have tiny dots tattooed on your scalp to create the illusion of hair coming through. To try disguise my thin patches. Unfortunately, Ir didn't really cover my scalp that much. It was expensive, a bit painful and time consuming. After that, I spent a lot of money on a beautiful wig, which I've worn out when my hair has been particularly upsetting. While researching hair loss products on line, I found the Hairy pill, I decided to give it a try. I've now been taking it for 6 months. Initially (about three weeks in) I lost a lot of hair. But after about the third month I started to notice my hair growing, you couldn't see it, but I could feel all the spikes of new hair coming through when I touched my scalp. I'm still using the laser helmet, so that may have helped get a quick result. So, 6 months in and my hair is looking quite good, its definitely thicker, I don't have to use as much hair fibers to cover my thin patches and I don't want to cry when I look at the back of my head. The downside, is the hair growth everywhere else.. I've never been that hairy, but I am now. I now have to use hair removal cream on my chin, cheeks and lip area. I bought a laser hair removal machine for my legs, armpits and bikini line. I can't use that on arms because I have moles so I've had to start waxing my arms and my hands! I can tell there is more fair hair on my shoulders back and bottom! So for me this product works but it works everywhere!! For that reason I'm sticking to the lowest dose!

It has worked for me. I was losing handfuls of hair in the shower and in my brush. My widows peak was expanding. I was changing the part of my hair. Etc etc. I am 53 - wasn’t sure if this was a flippin menopause thing or a stress thing, as I have gone through bad hair loss periods before when I am really stressed. Or just both things combined. I was skeptical of these pills but went for it anyway. I know they caution that shedding can get worse when you first try the pills, but this wasn’t the case for me. The severe shedding stopped almost immediately and I soon noticed new growth. That was about six months ago and the trend has continued. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you hairy pill. It’s been 11 months, in the middle it seemed like very long months but the staff at The Hairy Pill were there when I had questions and the phone consults were there for the medical questions. I began the treatment because I noticed a patch becoming thinner at the front of my hairline and down the gent left side of my head. I had been prescribed prednisone for years and my doctor felt the long term use would have contributed to what was happening. My Mums hair thinned when she was in her mid-fifties. Having dreadlocks, I wanted to do anything I could to slow it down if not stop it, I didn’t want to give up the dreads. Initially, I noticed less hair fall, less breakage (about 6 weeks), it was promising. Then I began to notice fine hair beginning to grow, the hair was pretty fragile, as was I, head bands have become my go to on my fragile days. I’m glad to say, as at today, I rarely have hair fall, my hair is regaining some of its fullness. The area at the front and left side of my head still has new hair growing and the hair shaft is thicker, if I still had black hair it would be more impressive but I embraced the grey and probably gave up dying my hair just in time. My last consult the Pharmacist said, it could cause more hair to appear in other places but you know, nothing the normal bodyscaping can’t take care of - HRT does the same. I can’t say I’ve noticed any side effects from The Hairy Pill. There have been a 2 billing issues where the payment requests weren’t submitted to my bank when the next bottle was issued and I received a call saying I was behind, not my error, but I needed to catch up - that was inconvenient in so much as I needed to make double payments then and there, I survived. I will continue with The Hairy Pill, I know I won’t have my lush locks again but I see the evidence in the mirror every morning that it is working. I had anaemia and lost a significant amount of hair. I had an iron infusion and took the hairy pill for around 2 years, My hair went from being extremely thin and wispy to thick and luscious. Hairdressers commented on how much hair I had on my head. It was so thick almost too thick. I stopped taking the pill for around 6 mths, and my hair began to fall out again, This time, the doctor said my iron levels were fine, but zinc was low. My finger nails and toe nails also became extremely brittle. I started taking the tablet again around 1 month ago, but my hair is failing out worse than ever. I recall last time I had to take the tablet for ~3 mths before I noticed any difference. I hope this tablet does not have any long term health side effects because I am afraid to stop taking it now. I hope it works as well this time as it did last time.

As a nurse I alway research the science behind medicine and reputable research papers before commencing treatment. I was pleased to see both were in place for this product and I was confident to try it along with the glowing reviews! Hair pulling (trichotillomania) due to stress, redundancy and young family member death caused what I thought was irreversible hair loss and thinning. Then the hairy pill… I have been taking it for 5 months now and I am really noticing a difference. I can’t even begin to explain the wonders hairy pill has done for me. I’ve never had thick hair, ever and it was the biggest insecurity I had. My hair was limp, thin, barely any of it.
