I am already toying with the idea of giving my son this bike and purchasing a new personalised one. Totally recommend 🚲😁👍

In terms of customer service, I had to contact them a few times about my order and to arrange delivery to my workplace and each time I got a swift and helpful response. One email was replied to at around 9pm on a Friday. This is a small, growing company with dedicated staff; they deserve all the credit they can get. Thanks Mango!

United Kingdom | 15 December 2020So in June I decided to spend my hard earned cash on a new bike so I could go on adventures with my kids. Mango bikes looked amazing so I ordered one straight away. Delivery was due in 4 weeks but I didn't mind. August came and went, then after a few emails of chasing I got told the bike would be in Sept so I waited and again nothing came. I chased via email / calling but got zero response. In Oct I was told my bike was high priority and would be with me in a matter of weeks but yet again I was let down with no update as to why. Roll on Nov and I had still not received my bike so decided to cancel as I'd missed the summer and autumn and the bike would just sit in my shed. I decided to get a refund and use the money for Xmas. Upon getting a refund I was charged £32 and when I challenged it the crappy customer service just kept saying 'Check the T&Cs'. So although they had delayed my bike by 4 months they still charged me for the privilege. Do not bother with Mango bikes, use a better company who actually care about their customers and not the cash.

United Kingdom | 14 December 2020AVOID! I ordered my bike in August, it had been pushed back twice (a month each time) the communication is awful! it takes them days to respond. My bike was meant to be dispatached on 8/12, i chased them for an update and that got an email to say they had cancelled my order along with a number of other orders due to the Cycle to Work Scheme. Its not acceptable.

Please be patient whilst waiting for your bike,well worth the wait such a smooth agile ride,my only complaint would be the cheap nylon pedals which let the overall look down,but I just upgraded so no problem... I wish Mango all the best in the future Would I buy another one,yes once the order book has slowed down

United Kingdom | 12 November 2020Would definitely avoid When I ordered my bike Mango had already received a number of alarming reviews, I decided that this was largely unfair given the first lockdown and unprecedented bike demand witnessed (most retailers were sold out completely) so ordered a bike. I took comfort from i) us being out of lockdown, ii) them having pushed estimated deliver to 2 months (from 2 weeks at pre-lockdown) so assumed there would be an element of contingency, and iii) the expectation that after 6 months of operating in this environment they would be used to the new operating environment. I was wrong. Mango proved to be a terribly run company. Not only did my order continually get pushed back, estimated dispatch is now December, 5 months after initial order was placed (as an extra nock up until last week estimated dispatch for new orders was early December, not sure how someone ordering a full 4 months after me could get a bike at the same time...). But I also found customer service to be incredibly cavalier with informing me of further delays, in the sense that they didn't at all. Instead they would casually drop into conversations that the dispatch had been pushed back a number of weeks in the apparent hope I didn't notice. I'm sure I would still be annoyed at over 3 months of delays, but clear communication and apologetic updates may have helped. I can only imagine they are now so used to delivering news of delays that they no longer care. Trying to get me to pay more for upgrades to speed up delivery and even pay a cancelation fee after all of this didn't help either. As I said I was initially sympathetic, but as this fiasco has gone on its become clearer that the company are overtrading. Taking all the orders they can to profit from this spike in demand, when in reality they have no hope of fulfilling the orders anywhere near on time. What's more frustrating is there is a good company in there producing incredibly good value bikes. So once they sort out these order fulfilment issues I would definitely recommend. But certainly not right now.

United Kingdom | 02 November 2020I should've wrote this review months ago but the truth is, I had too much fun on my bike. I bought a Point Blank fixed gear bike from Mango back in April which took a little longer than anticipated to arrive but once it did I have had a blast with it. Such a fun bike to ride and switching to fixed hear really gave riding a bike a new lease of life. Bike is of great quality however the rear rim needed the rim tape replacing as it caused several punctures due to it lifting on one edge. I did replace my rear cog and put a stronger chain on it but other than those modifications it has been going strong and I've probably done just under 1500 miles on it over the summer. Mango were on my hitlist for quite a while due to the customisation available and I'm glad I went for it

United Kingdom | 02 November 2020Unbelievably horrendous customer service, I really have never experienced anything like it. Ordered a bike in July expecting delivery in august. By late October there was still no bike and almost no communication from mango bikes at all (unless you count their automatic spam emails trying to sell products). I was lucky to get a response to my emails/telephone calls within two weeks and often they would go unanswered. When I did get a response they were inappropriately casual and unhelpful. Each time I was told a new expected delivery date and each time it did not come to fruition. In the end and after waiting over 3 months for a bike (which they had taken money out of my account for at the point of ordering) I decided to cancel, their final move to add insult to injury was to charge me a cancellation fee... unfortunately I can’t actually comment on the quality of the bike but I would strongly advise against engaging with mango bikes at all, unless you don’t mind waiting forever for a bike.

United Kingdom | 30 October 2020If I could give this company 0 stars I would, almost 5 months later and numerous estimated dispatch dates, I still do not have my bike despite paying for it. I ordered my bike on the 11th of June as it was advertising bikes would be built and dispatched by the end of July. Once I ordered it my estimated dispatched was then ''the start of August'', this then moved to the 5th of October, to then be told there was a problem with the supplier and they didn't know when the dispatch date would be, to now being told the 26th of October. It is now the 30th of October, I have emailed everyday this week for an update to no avail and still no inclination to when the bike is arriving. I understand these are unprecedented times, however Mango seem to be still advertising quick turnarounds, continuing to cash in when they have customers who have been waiting months - almost 5 months! Writing this here hoping I could get a reply to this as none of my emails are being replied to.

United Kingdom | 28 October 2020My bike is the OG 1 x 10sp and I opted for a few extras. The quality of the bike is brilliant, and the build is superb. It’s clear a lot of time and effort has gone into the materials and the build itself. Absolute value for money. I’ve ridden the bike as much as I can considering it’s October and I’m delighted, it’s 100% been worth the wait. I want to be clear that Ive read recent reviews about Mango and that I haven’t had any issues throughout my experience. In my opinion, with everything being absolutely upside down at present it’s totally unfair to leave reviews like some of one’s I’ve read. I waited 9 weeks for my bike, so what, I’ve waited 7 months to go out for a pint with my mates and at this rate I’ll probably have to wait another 7 months, like everyone else. Yeah it’s crap we have to wait longer for our products and that businesses can’t offer the standard of service that we have come to expect but it’s easy to pick on the little guy. If the little guys like Mango keep getting slated we won’t have the creativity, individuality, personal touch and ability to customise our products in the way that only businesses like Mango can offer. So if you’re considering leaving a “one star f*#k you review” just think, if we continue to hammer these businesses they will disappear then it won’t be long until we’re riding around on mass produced crap created by Amazon and our every move tracked by Google. Support the little guys. Thankyou to all at Mango!

United Kingdom | 23 October 2020I had a bit of a think about whether to give the Mango bike team four stars or five. I went for five and here’s why: I waited three months for my bike, and to be honest I did get a little inpatient along the way. Over the three month period I sent three emails all of which were answered promptly with clear explanations of what was happening. Mango did tell me twice that they were waiting for parts and how COVID had been impacting on delivery. Other friends of mine who had ordered bikes from other companies also waited a while. I would say if you want a bike quickly, then now isn’t the time to get one, COVID has effected everything and it will be a while till companies are able to fully recover, also bikes are in demand. My bike arrived, when Mango said it would, very well packed and I did get a tool kit, the bike was very easy to put together, well with a little help from my partner and some guidance from the Mango videos. It’s a very high quality bike, for the price there really is nothing to complain about. I went for the cycle to work scheme, Mango bikes haven’t yet cashed in the voucher so I haven’t started paying yet. Personally I think I overreacted a bit with Mango bikes and reading some of the reviews I think other people have to. If you want a top quality bike that is very well made, to your very liking and are willing to wait a few months then I would definitely say Mango bikes is the way to go. If your a little bit angry, have a chip on your shoulder and the patients of a hungry dog, perhaps go to Halfords. Have your own Mango experience, not other people’s. The haters probably aren’t happy people.

United Kingdom | 29 September 2020To begin this review I will mention I ordered my Bike on June 12th. I received the bike 28th Sept.... When I ordered the bike the website said the dispatch date would be the end of July. July came and went and no communication to say any different. It was not until I had got in touch that I finally received some communications to let me know they had been 'swamped' with orders. I appreciate that they had not anticipated the increase in orders since covid hit but given that I feel their response has been quite poor, I feel that they could have focused more on completing orders rather than misleading customers and continuing to receive orders that they would not be able to complete. Finally at the beginning of sept after lots of emails requesting an update I was finally given a more realistic dispatch date. It seems that Mango had started to receive their stock to make the bikes and where starting to get on track. Communication after this became a little more regular. The bike was dispatched on sept 25th (17 weeks after ordering). No tools where included in the box with the bike to attach wheel/pedals/seat/handlebars. I have tools so it was not an issue but Mango had said there would be so…… Apart from that the bike is great! Instructional video was very helpful, so far seems like a very sturdy build, very light, very fast So all in all I am happy despite the very lengthy waiting time. Also thought it might be worth mentioning that in one of the emails received from Mango they had mentioned some “extra freebies as a token of their appreciation for sticking with them”, which if that meant the small packet of Haribo sweets thrown in with all the accessories I had bought then…..thank you? Overall I have been quite disappointed with the overall experience, because although the bike is very good, the lack of communication, time taken, and now money I have spent on public transport when I could have been using the bike to get to and from work/etc has not been the best. Having said that, the bike is excellent so take from that what you will. I'm sure that once they get orders under control Mango will be the cool bike company they aspire to be, but for the time being, they leave a little to be desired.

United Kingdom | 24 September 2020Ordering was great & my bike arrived when it was due. 10 months after I received the bike it developed a bottom bracket problem. This was reported via e-mail, for which I received a reply, and not just the automated one. However since that e-mail after sales service has been non-existent. I've since sorted the problem out myself & removed all the Mango branding decals - I don't want to promote them. KEEP WELL WAY!!

Lets begin with the time it took to get my bike, it took almost 3 months to get my bike, now i understand its COVID so was expecting that but the customer service was terrible, if you cant meet demand just dont put them on sale? would you rather meet demand and have good customer service which is what builds your reputation or have 100s of dissatisfied customers leaving you bad reviews? forgetting that, i am wiling to forgive but that is not the reason for the rubbish review (would give it negative stars) for £450 i would expect a semi decent bike, however this is the heaviest bike i have EVER used, does not feel good at all, i have people on single speeds absolutely out pacing me without even trying (I have used many bikes in the past so its not me), its just a heavy lump of steel which you can get the parts for next to nothing online. Gears dont really work properly, makes chain noise. honestly about to just chuck this away with this hassle as no one will buy this off me. DO NOT BUY, spend your money elsewhere, this is coming from a guy who is easy to please and never leave reviews and not being picky, this is a dreadful bike and it annoys me that i cant do anything about this but suck it up and buy a better bike

United Kingdom | 22 September 2020Customer service was poor....but the bike is absolutely terrible. It's hard to know where to start really, but I suppose the frameset should be the place. This is just a cheap steel item (you can pick them up on eBay for about £60 with free delivery). The wheels are about the best thing on the bike, but are still heavy and outdated in design (you can also pick these up on eBay for about £70). Everything else is just really cheap and nasty, and will probably fall to bits in less than a year. The worst (and funniest) component is the chainset. The chainring is so misshapen that the chain goes from extremely tight to really slack during a full revolution. Laughable really!!! I could list each component and tell you how poor they are, but I don't want to bore you. Who on earth are Chasewood (Google it and you still won't know). How they can charge £350 for this bike is criminal really. Only buy from Mango if you really like their awful colour schemes and don't mind riding truly awful bikes. For £350 you can buy something much better....

They are putting fingers in their ears. All that is needed is some emails or updates on their site explaining delays etc...

United Kingdom | 17 September 2020Ordered 2 bikes from mango a moosher for my wife and a single speed for me. Ordered on the 8th of June and I realised when ordering that with covid going on that things may take a while longer. Didn't have much contact to begin with from mango even when I was live chatting them almost daily for updates on the bike builds. Had a email confirmation that the moosher was built and ready for despatch so I agreed for it to be sent and il wait a while longer for my single speed. The moosher arrived and I have to admit it is a great great bike really easy to put together and my wife has been out on bike rides with my daughter everyday since receiving it. I had a email stating that the black wheels for my bike won't arrive till October and a offer to change colour of them so I agreed to change to red and also was told I can change all other things to match if I wanted to eg. Saddle, handlebars, chain, tyre's. Been told my despatch date is a week Friday now so fingers crossed its accurate. The contact I've had since my wife's bike was despatched has been second to none and I am impressed by them. Overall I know its been a long wait and I'm still awaiting one bike to come but from recieveing my wife's bike and seeing the quality of it I think it's well worth the wait.
