United Kingdom | 14 September 2020I ordered my bike on July 10th (£512). The ETA was "End of August", which I considered acceptable, so I pressed ahead. Towards the end of August (23rd or so) I dropped Mango a friendly little note on live chat wondering if they would be able to provide me with an update on when my bike would arrive. This did not receive a response (and was genuinely friendly). A few days later I received an email from them saying that my bike would be delayed for another 4 weeks. I responded saying that the delay would cost me £200 in public transport, and their offering of a light set was not sufficient with that as context. This was again ignored-and this was about 4 days before I was supposed to receive my bike. I asked for my order to be cancelled. Ignored. Essentially Mango Bikes have taken half a thousand pounds from me, ignored my emails, have no intention of refunding me even though they hadn't started building my bike. Avoid at all costs- I would never usually encourage a boycott of a small business, but their customer service has been shocking and they have essentially robbed me; I no longer want their product, I haven't recieved their product, and they refuse to even acknowledge that I have requested my order to be cancelled and my funds returned. Absolutely despicable behaviour. *Edited from 1* to 2* as they have now refunded (most of) my money

United Kingdom | 11 September 2020Some communication issues so can't give a full 5 stars but my stock bike arrived quickly and in great condition today and once highlighted, any issues I had were looked into and dealt with promptly! Appreciate it has been an extremely busy time for many bike retailers too!

United Kingdom | 10 September 2020Bad experience. I made an order in first week of August for custom a built bike costing over £400, I expected it to arrive in 4 weeks, I contacted them on livechat for an expected arrival date, but did not hear back for a over week, I was told the warehouse is empty so will not have my bike until sometime in late September. I started to get worried after reading bad reviews on the quality of products and services so decided to call them to ask a bit more info about the bike, unfortunately the calls are left unanswered so I left a message on the answer machine, I also emailed them, but no response, I then decided it was best to contact them on livechat and ask for a refund, but a week later I still had no reply. I had no faith in this company to refund me as they took a large sum of money without actually having a pysical product to sell, so contacted my bank and used the Chargeback scheme for a refund.

United Kingdom | 08 September 2020Avoid at all costs. If I could give minus stars I would. They're essentially scamming people by selling bikes that don't exist. They don't have any stock but are still selling bikes. I was kept waiting for three months with very little communication after sending them £390. They just ignore any contact you try to have with them. I tried to cancel my order after three months and it took them forever to process the cancellation. In the time it took for them to do it, I ordered a bike from another company, it arrived, I built it and cycled 100 miles on it. Then they charged me £5 for a processing fee. Don't believe them when they say "it's a tough time for the bike industry and we're doing our best". That's nonsense. They tried to take advantage of the situation by selling bikes which don't exist and are now in over their heads. It's entirely they're own fault that they're struggling. On top of that they're snakes. Never go near them.

United Kingdom | 06 September 2020Hi folks, for the record, those of you who ordered a Mango bike and haven't yet received it - you've had a lucky escape. Take my advice and avoid. I've had a single speed Mango for about two years and it's hands-down the worst bike I've ever ridden - clunky and heavy with cheap components. It's a bit like riding a piano to work every day. I guess it's partly my fault for buying online. If you want a bike that you're going to love, you've got to be able to test ride it. Lesson learnt. :-)

United Kingdom | 05 September 2020If I could give 0 stars, I would. It’s soon going to get to the point where someone needs to take legal action with this company, I ordered my bike 2 months ago when my bike was meaning to arrive before September. I am aware some people have had a much WORSE experience than myself but still this lack of service is absolutely atrocious. DO NOT BUY A BIKE FROM THIS COMPANY, unless you want to have half a bike arrive half a year later of course.

United Kingdom | 01 September 2020Ordered bike on jun 1st. I was told because of covid they would be delayed making my bike and was told it would be dispatched mid july. They then sent an email saying it would take a further 3 weeks. This time passed and no bike. I emailed a few times and only got an automated response. I then called several times and only got through to an answering machine. Luckily I paid through PayPal so have filed for a refund.

United Kingdom | 01 September 2020DO NOT BUY FROM MANGO. I Ordered back in June, and it said my bike would be delivered by the end of July. Given covid, I thought this was reasonable. End of July passed and nothing arrived, still no updates at all. I try emailing, messaging on social media, ringing them to see where my order was; I heard nothing. I had to open a PayPal case towards the end of August to get a full refund as I literally had no choice. I emailed them asking for a refund and got no reply. No apology through PayPal either. Luckily I got my money back, but I definitely won't be recommending them to anybody. Customer service should be a bare minimum for any company. Ignoring customers is unacceptable.

Australia | 26 August 2020Bike shipped with faulty crank arms and pedals. Destroyed themselves within a few weeks. Tried to contact the company for 2 months with no reply via phone, email and social media. Only once I threatened to bring a small claims action did they bother replying. Took another month to send the first package, which was actually shorter arms to the ones that came with my bike. Eventually failed to send pedals with this pack. Had to wait abother week. Took to bike store to get repaired and mechanic notified me the quality of the replacement parts were so poor they have anticipated id need a replacement within the month and offered to order and replace for me for free as they felt bad for me. Poor customer service and sub par quality, blanketed by the excuse of covid. I encourage you to look at their twitter and other reviews before even considering buying.

United Kingdom | 25 August 2020After waiting patiently for 3 months, my bike then gets stolen/lost by the courier they decided to use. The courier service XDP has awful reviews - why choose a crap company to ship your products. Absolutely gutted - no reply from them regarding this.

United Kingdom | 23 August 2020Update: I've just received a refund for my bike and they've charged me £35 without any explanation. Having waited for over 3 months for a bike that doesn't exist they also try and keep your money!!! After two generic emails regarding the delay of my order, I rang Mango to check that my bike was still set for delivery at the end of Sept. Spoke to a nice gentlemen but he has now informed me that I won't receive my bike until end of Oct. If I hadn't of rang, would I have been told this information? I placed my order mid-June and have never received a personal response from Mango. I have tried to contact them via phone, email, instant messenger and on social media. All I have ever received is a generic email which gets pumped out to all customers to state that there has been a delay. I was quite surprised when someone actually answered the phone this time round. I ordered from Mango to support a small business and expected a delay on my order (6 weeks delivery at the point of order) but has now resulted in a 3 month wait - soon to be 4 months. I appreciate that there has been high demand but all that Mango need to do is keep their customers informed. Radio silence is just not good enough for someone who has parted with a lot of money during a difficult time. Would not recommend purchasing from this company when other companies are keeping on top of orders, managing expectations and communicating. Look elsewhere.

United Kingdom | 20 August 2020If I could leave a zero scoring, I would. Absolutely horrendous experience from start to finish. Please don’t be suckered in by their reviews. co. uk reviews, they are absolute fabrications. Check their Instagram comments for how customers are really feeling, check Twitter. To be clear on this, this is NOT a good company to deal with. So here I am 14 weeks later, I ordered on the 25th of May. Now to get a few things out in the open straight away, I completely understand we have been through a global pandemic, I understand that bikes have been in high demand and I absolutely do not doubt the quality of the bike. At time I ordered they were saying it would be there by June, on a banner at the top of their webpage. Still taking orders for the entire 14 weeks I’ve been a customer and still not being able to fulfil early May. But by god, they do not give you a good customer experience whatsoever, ghost like in appearance. Yet have the time to slate paying customers on social media and blog posts numerous times. Generic responses, no one there to reach out to, where’s my bike, where’s my money, it’s a traumatic experience all round. Dangle you along for weeks and weeks and weeks. Now I have the decision to make do I succumb to the cowboys and pay £35 for upgraded wheels, or cancel and pay them £30 restocking fee. One thing is for sure, balaclava’s have not been in short supply during the pandemic.

United Kingdom | 19 August 2020I placed my order with Mango Bikes on 22nd May. On 15th July, I received an email from Emily and I quote "our current estimate for completing your build is 2/3 weeks." That would have taken us through to 5th August at the latest. Imagine my disappointment when I checked my order on 5th August, only to get another email from Emily that day saying the wheels are "currently on European waters and due to arrive on Friday evening." and "You should get an updated estimate dispatch date soon and email confirmation that it's with our build team sometime next week." Here I am 14 days later with an Inbox devoid of an email giving me an updated dispatch date or any kind of confirmation that my bike is even with the build team. Hate to say it but enough is enough. I have emailed them asking to cancel my finance agreement and to refund all monies.

United Kingdom | 19 August 2020Where to begin? Firstly my bike has arrived and they get 2 stars because the bike does look awesome. However, I ordered a custom fixie on the 8th of May and it arrived on the 18th of August. Yep, 3 months and 10 days later despite a 14 day promise at that time. I needed the bike quickly and even called ahead and was told they could probably have it to me in 12 days. Best way to reach them is on Messenger and they were quite responsive to my needing to change delivery address due to how long it had taken. Last thing, I got pink pedals instead of black and no instructions or tools to put it together. Messaged them to say they're out of black but will get some eventually but lucky me gets to keep the pink. They emailed me instructions and said I was meant to get tools but they're completely out. If anyone is waiting on a bike I highly recommend having a 4mm and 5mm allen key, as well as some sort of spanner ready for whenever your bike arrives. I sincerely hope it doesn't take as long as mine.

United Kingdom | 15 August 2020I very much tried to like this company and sympathize with them due to the current pandemic. Sorry, I can't. They are lying promising new bikes to be shipped in 4 weeks when they cannot even deliver purchases from May. Phone lines don't work, they ignore emails and then they charge you £35.39 to cancel the order after 11 weeks because they "have been working on it" (What??) Try somewhere else!

United Kingdom | 14 August 2020DO NOT BUY FROM MANGO. They do not answer emails, phone calls, Twitter posts, Instagram DMs. I waited 12 weeks for a bike, and then emailed five times to cancel and request a refund. They have mass emailed saying that the cancelled bike is being built and they intend to send it. I do not want this bike, and I do not want to pay to ship it back to Northern Ireland where they will ignore my requests for a refund. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY AVOID AT ALL COSTS

United Kingdom | 11 August 2020I ordered a bike on the 9th of June. I still had not received it on the 11th of August. When I asked where it was they said they were waiting on suppliers. I then requested that my bike should be cancelled and they charged me a £30 restocking fee. £30 for stock they didn't have yet. They could use that stock on another order they had failed to deliver on. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

United Kingdom | 11 August 2020Awful customer service, awful company do not buy anything from this company, we had loads of trouble getting a reply after my sons bike broke after 2 day

United Kingdom | 10 August 2020Wish I could give a lower rating. Absolutely abysmal service, must have children running their customer service department. Avoid at all cost.

United Kingdom | 07 August 2020The chain on one of your bikes, not six months old, just snapped flinging me off it into the middle of a busy London intersection, hurting my back and putting me in a very dangerous situation. I have tried to contact you and have asked twice now for someone to call me. You asked for photos of the chain which I supplied and have since heard nothing from you. Please contact me or I will be requesting CCTV footage of the fall and taking this matter further.
