United Kingdom | 04 August 2020Ordered a bike in May 2020. Still haven't received it. Mango bikes are uncontactable. A few generic emails sent out but each time suggesting further delays without any clear idea about when I will receive the bike. Completely understand the demand and the various issues that C-19 has caused. All that would be required would be some good communication. However personal communication has been non existent and they are uncontactable. Furthermore I am paying for the bike via cycle scheme each month. Failure to provide goods you have paid for in a timely fashion is a breech is a breach under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. As I say I completely understand the current situation and realise that everyone ordering a bike from most suppliers have had delays. Speaking to colleagues though companies such as Brompton Bikes; Halfords have been very good communication and also prioritised key workers (Doctor) such as myself

United Kingdom | 02 August 2020I don't to be negative given the pandemic, but I placed my order on the 12th May at which time full payment was taken. We are now in August and apart from a few emails I really have no idea when i will receive my bike. Good communication is key. Mango Bikes have failed massively on that front

United Kingdom | 30 July 2020ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. DONT USE. Ordered a bike. Kept delaying the delivery dates. Several months later they said it would be another 2 months so I cancelled and bought a bikeFrom someone else. They refused to give a full refund specifying ridiculous charges such as “restocking” and admin fees!!! They must be raking it in for doing absolutely nothing but letting people down.

United Kingdom | 30 July 2020First time ever writing a review, as I consider myself easy going and don't let bad experiences as a consumer frustrate me. I ordered a bike mid May for my girlfriend's birthday in early June after mango's website said 2-3 weeks delivery. No reply after several emails. Only way I found to get them to respond is on twitter, even then they couldn't give any information on when the bike will arrive. It's nearly the start of August and still no bike. I know the world will keep spinning without the bike I ordered, but it was purchased with the intention of using it this summer, especially for our two holidays in the UK camping. To add insult to the many annoyed customers who can't get any communication, Andrew the MD occasionally tweets a quirky heartfelt blog post. Many companies have struggled during covid, so delays are of course expected. But it really isn't hard to communicate with customers. Avoid avoid avoid avoid on principle.

United States | 29 July 2020At time of ordering 27th May i was advised 3-4weeks till delivery. Mid June I received a generic email saying there was a delay and my order would be fulfilled mid July. Now over two months since ordering and I've had no specific feed back on my order. No response to any form of communication, email, twitter, phone-call. Now July 29th my order tracking page still says my bike will be dispatched mid July. Does this mean 2021? Who knows.

United Kingdom | 28 July 2020Do not buy from this company... Had the same experience as everybody else, it is unbelievably shocking customer service. Ordered my bike almost 2 months ago and next to no updates... I have contacted your customer support once again, more than a week ago to cancel the order and no response given at all. For Christ sake don't buy their bikes.

United Kingdom | 18 July 2020Terrible, 2 months later and still no bike. Poor communication with them from start to finish, originally bike was going to take 3 weeks, then 5, then 8, then 10 before I cancelled. Then when cancelling they had the audacity to try sending only a partial refund (charging £30 plus a their payment fee of around £5) claiming because "work had already started" - yet they told me they were still waiting for the parts? They downright refused to provide a full refund so I had to escalate the claim through PayPal who awarded it in my favour. Update** got an email from them saying my bike was ready after 13 weeks, 10 more than what they originally said, what a joke! Customer service is absolutely terrible, would give them 0 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs.

United Kingdom | 17 July 2020I ordered a bike in May being told they'd build it in two weeks. Over two weeks later, in June, they said they'd have parts in by end of the month. By July I asked for a refund. Ultimately I was given a part refund. They still have £35 of my money for not fulfilling an order of 8 weeks. They also edit the reviews on their website - my negative review was removed. Don't trust that site.

United Kingdom | 15 July 2020Ordered some camo grips and a pair of bullhorn handlebars on the 1st of July (both showing as in stock and would be dispatched same or next day). Received a package on the 8th of July containing only the grips and no handlebars. I have since emailed, rang, instant messaged their website and contacted them via Facebook. I have received no reply as to where my handlebars are from any of the above. I understand that this is a very busy time for them but the lack of communication is ridiculous. I have no idea where to contact now as they are clearly not replying via any form of communication. I will not be buying anything from Mango bikes again

United Kingdom | 10 July 2020I ordered flange grips on the 21st June and I still haven't received it, even though I was told it would be sent the next day. They have charged me for the item and Can't get though to anyone as they don't answer their phone, or reply to emails to find out why I didn't receive my item or sort out a refund. Absolutely horrible scam of a company. Stay clear.

United Kingdom | 07 July 2020The website looks legit but don't be fooled - these people will take your money and then act like you don't exist. Ordered a bike 5 weeks ago and have been trying to contact them almost daily via every possible avenue to no avail. No one picking up the phone or responding to emails or replying to any messages via their Instagram or Facebook page. Do not spend any money via this fraudulent website.

United Kingdom | 25 June 2020Ordered a bike at the beginning of May. Still haven’t received it. I have had no communication about the delays, no apologies and the estimated dispatch date keeps getting moved back. Mango do not answer the phone, emails, chats via the website, or Facebook messenger. Do not buy a bike from these people.

United Kingdom | 22 June 2020I have held off writing this review, but as so much happened with the purchasing process with Mango I have to share my experience so other customers know what they’re potentially getting them selves in for. The Bike. I chose the standard Point R in white, medium frame size with upgrades vision team 30 wheel set. Choosing the bike. All was going smoothly until I received an email that white is no longer available, I wasn’t told what other colours were available so I asked for black instead. Also not available, so I ended up with blue. Which is fine as in reality it is a really nice colour (not paint job). Shipping. After 2 weeks of waiting I was wondering when the bike was going to turn up, so I tried to log into the mango my account to see if any details have come through. At this moment the login system was down for a very long time and I never received any information, so I used there online chat helper thing. I must of messaged 5-8 times until a reply over multiple days. Eventually someone told me there website was broke and the login system was down. So I basally waited until it randomly turned up 2-3 weeks later from order date with no information on when it was going to arrive. Delivery. The bike was delivered in a well protected bike box but first thing I noticed it had the stock wheel set on it. I ordered the vision wheel set for £80+. So I thought maybe they’re being delivered separate as I new another package was coming from mango, as on the delivery note it said 1 of 2 parcels. Also the tires that were on the stock rims where some cheap brand I’ve never heard of, not the advertised Continental. Mango you really need to update your product photography as you’re false advertising what comes with the bike. So the other parcel turned up 2 days later, I thought great its the wheels! Nope the pedals separately haha, I thought ffs this has to be a joke they’ve stitched me right up. So I got on the phone and apparently they haven’t got any vision wheels in stock and was never gonna tell me! Just take my money won’t you, I had to ring them to give me a refund. The Bike. The paint was a beautiful colour blue but the quality of it is awful, already chipped around the internal cabling and flaking off around the front derailleur hanger and its bright white underneath the blue so it looks crap. The bike rides well but I had to change the wheels, they’re slow, heavy and got crap tires so they came straight off. So my blue chipped, crap wheeled bike is now fine to ride with the upgrades I’ve done myself - but from stock and what they sent me I can not recommend buying any bike from Mango. Im sorry mango but there was too many mess ups to not say anything. DO NOT RECOMMEND

United Kingdom | 28 May 2020Can't get a response elsewhere so just wondering if I'll get a response from mango on here after 5 weeks of ignored emails and other methods. Any chance of me getting my thousand pounds worth of bikes please? Ive had to walk to work since I was supposed to recieve my bike and now I'm on final warning for being late every day so that's really getting me down. My trainers are completely ruined too. I love wasting money usually, so on reflection I should probably give you 5 stars as you've certainly helped me fulfil that in leaps and bounds. Q: Is MangoBikes for you? A: If you're looking a person looking for a bespoke bike, you may be better off emailing Sky for sponsorship and getting a free bike from them. At this current time, that seems more likely than me receiving my 2 bikes from mango that I paid for... ... Oh and one more thing - they emailed me (yes they do actually know how to work Microsoft Outlook when it involves needing more money - amazing right?) 3 weeks ago asking for an extra £30 because my frame wasn't in stock so they'd be kind enough to give me an upgraded frame for that small token fee (which I sent straight away as you do) which has so far materialised in to more fresh air and no updates. Thanks guys, great stuff. Appreciate your kind gesture. Keep up the good work.

United Kingdom | 25 April 2020Damage to frame, marks all over the crank arm etc. Have requested a part refund, now waiting and still waiting on this. I have decided to keep the bike as this is the easiest option and have the damage repaired. Will not be back. Refund agreed but no payment yet

United Kingdom | 13 September 2018Absolutely shocking after care service. My bike arrived with faults. I advised them over the phone, and then via email and social. Keep getting told 'Sorry, i was supposed to pick this up on Monday..' and that's just the same excuse each time. My bike's chain rubs against the cassette and also falls off. It is a hazard and needs fixing. I have contacted Cycle2work to complain and will be never shopping with them again.

United Kingdom | 17 October 2017I own a Mango fixie bike which I am happy with. However I placed an order for a second bike which never materialised. I phoned them on numerous occasions and was fed a different yarn each time. A month after the order not being fulfilled (they expect to ship in 4-6 days) I cancelled the order and received a refund. At no point did Mango bikes contact me to explain my order would be delayed or provide any reason for it. They do not respond to voicemail and rarely answer the phone. My refund was achieved via email. Altogether a bad experience. I would not deal with them again.
