First time we used it was great no issues money was there quickly we really thought okay cool this is exactly what we need. We were told use it so we could up our limit. So we decided why don't we just pay them off the $8,000 that we still owe so that they will up our limit. Long story short what we weren't told was that when we went in a couple months later to use the money that it was no longer there! So then they say we'll just reapply. Okay, no problem right? Except it is a problem because they want to do another hard pull on your credit and that to me is a problem! They were very misleading I feel like I was lied to and just told what I needed to hear so that they got their money right away and I got my line of credit shut down. Use any other company! Do not I repeat do not attempt this unless you plan on using the money at least once a month because if you don't when you need it it will not be there! Bad business.

United States | 08 November 2022We were very pleased to have found Fundbox, it truly looked like it was going to be a perfect fit for our new and growing business. Our personal rep was awesome and helpful in every way. We did use Fundbox and again were very pleased with the set up and re payment process. However we didn't use it for a couple of months. And just as we had decided we were going to use it to make a purchase for our business we received an email they had deactivated our account because we had not used it in 3 months. We were unaware this was something they would do. The email said to contact them to reactivate our account but that is terribly misleading as you are not allowed to reactivate you have to apply all over again. This is an awful business model. We do not want another hard credit pull on our account just because we didn't use the funds within a certain period of time. The way it was explained to us from the onset was the more you use it the more opportunity for you funding to increase not anything about them closing it. When I called to see what could be done- the rep was very kind but said nothing could be done but to reapply I even asked to speak to someone higher up but was told there was no one. Just very disappointed in how this played out for us. And a very poor business model. Not very concerned about their customers at all.
