“Quality service control need to address issues. In my opinion, the boots had probably already been returned to Rydale by a previous customer. The condition was dreadful, marks in the leather, tassel broken and loose in the box, the protective wrapping paper was ripped where they had obviously not been re-packaged carefully, lastly, the box had very strange stains on the inside! When questioned, customer services stated that all boxes were checked before despatch although quickly agreed upon receipt of photos I sent. Took delivery late pm on the 15th Oct, returned via royal mail on the 16th Oct, receipt acknowledged by Rydale on the 22nd Oct.....Still awaiting refund. Update on 1st November…Refund received same day as standard customer service reply posted below.

I have bought a dark forest green walking jacket. It’s a really nice looking jacket and I’m sure it will provide good rain cover. Beware though because I went for a brisk 5 mile walk and I was drenched in sweat. It’s going to be ok for such things as dog walking but not brisk walking. It was not advertised as breathable though it said the perforated lining was breathable. Make sure it fits the purpose for what you have in mind.

Had previously ordered ryedale tee shirts on 2 occasions, and very pleased with the orders. However, this time the quality of material and finish of the garment was very poor. They did not have a Ryedale label, and were clearly from a lower standard supplier. Only suitable for rags.

I have had one of your Garton fleeces for some years and I wanted another but in a blue colour. The Garton Fleece was out of stock. I called your office and explained that I wanted a fleece with the Garton type lining and it was not clear which of your range was equivalent. I was told that Huggate fleece had the same lining so, on that basis I ordered one. I was very disappointed when it arrived and it had no lining, nor the deep internal pockets which are so useful. Having said that, the Huggate fleece is a very nice garment so I have decided to keep it albeit for a different use from the one I wanted. I have asked to be e-mailed when you have the Garton fleeces back in stock as I would really like a dark blue version of my old olive Garton.

I love the clothing but the sizes are out. I ordered a shooting jacket a while ago in a 12 fitted fine,so then ordered a shirt read the reviews and all said comes up small so ordered a 14 it was huge!sent it back for a 12 and quite tight but kept it to wear under jumpers. I have ordered a jacket and the 12 was fine but not sure I can wear a thick jumper under.

The umbrella I ordered was delivered damaged. I don't think it was anything to do with rydale I think it happened during delivery but I contacted rydale regarding this damaged with a picture and it was replaced within 48hrs very impressed

This fits my dog perfectly. Being a doberman, size can be an issue. This raincoat covers him in all the right places without any bulk. The quality is good, as is normal from Rydale.
