I wanted a boot with a good grip sole and they provide this. Have not had opportunity to try them outside. I'm really pleased with these boots and a very reasonable price especially in Rydale's sale.

I like the solid chunky sole and definitely think they have good grip in bad icy weather. The sizing is a little bigger and looser than I thought but will just wear thicker socks. They are also quite heavy so probably won’t be walking long distances!😃
