The experience I had was very rewarding and the staff were extremely supportive.

All of the people I have talked with at the school have been so nice and easy to deal with. Every question I have has been answered and they never take too long to get back to you. The process for signing up and starting my program was a breeze and the program itself so far is great! Loving my choice to go back to school and I am 99% sure it is because of the school I chose to go through!

I took the Graphic Design course and am currently working at the local newspaper, designing ads for the newspaper, ads for our website, laying out the newspaper and more. I was also promoted to Manager of the Graphics department last summer. The course was great, I liked working on my own time. I was able to work full-time while taking the course. I also have co-workers that took the same course and it is affordable and covers everything you need to know.

The Health Information Management program is excellent, the teachers are knowledgeable, I am glad I took this program. Everytime I have questions my teachers were always there to answer my questions. I strongly recommend the HIM program at Cd-Ed.

The program as a whole was ok. You don’t really get in-depth in anything and it’s hard to get support if you are working full time because their office hours were the same as my working hours so I only had about an hour to be able to get assistance on any day. I didn’t get a job in my field and although that isn’t entirely the schools fault I did find that their job assistance coordinator was not helpful at all and made me feel more discouraged by providing me with a very sad looking resume outline. They didn’t really help on the job front in any manor to be honest. I don’t feel I learned enough in the program to be proficient enough to get a good job in the field.

Add more statistics and some planning based curricula in future in Office Admin courses.

I love this program instructors are awesome. Get back to you in timely manner. Also explain question way you understand then better. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to further their education.

CD-ED Addmission test are so bad you can even put in your answer then you lose mark that make fail the addmission process. I wish they can really improve their services for people so they can accomplish their goal and dont really make any barrier online learninh.

Overall the program was great. The instructors were very helpful and were willing to work with any real life situations that came up. My only major issue with the program was the materials involved were pretty outdated, and, in the case of the Windows Fundamentals course, didn't match up with what the certification exam ended up being about.

I am currently halfway through my Graphic Design course through Centre of Distance Education. This also isn't the first time I have taken online classes. When compared with my previous experience through a different institution, CD-ED runs a tight schedule but I find I am getting more out of my experience. I hear from my teacher, Karen Ramsey, at least once a week. She is quick to respond to my questions and talk me through any issues I have been having with the course. She marks my assignments quickly, so I know what I need to change before I get too far into my next unit. The course material and projects are easy to follow, leaving me with a great understanding of all sides of Graphic Design. I am a very hands on learner so the course approach of having to create assignments every week that force me to use my problem solving skills works well for me personally. I would definitely recommend this instiution to anyone considering doing distance education.
