I would recommend this college to anyone, if they are looking to learn on there own time without having to leave home. Help is at your fingertips.

Only giving 2 stars because I can do homework at home on my own time, but they are very pushy and demanding about submitting assignments on time (which usually I'm fine with but they have put me on academic probation twice now) my grades are always good I just have a busy life working 50 + hours a week and trying to make time every week is difficult. Now I have less then 1 day to have an assignment done that I haven't even had the time to read instructions for. Not super impressed I chose this school because I was under the impression that I would be able to work at my own pace, however that's not the case 😡

Completely agree with the 5 stars - would recommend to anyone. VERY supportive which is what I need when taking an online course of this magnitude.

This was the best school I have dealt with! The instructors were very very helpful, the course layout was easy to follow, and just overall the best experience I have had! I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone!

I studied Office Administrative Assistant (with Bookkeeping). CD-ED is truly focused on putting the student first by helping them through their studies, with any issues that come up and supporting you in all aspect of your school year(s). Any time I spoke with any one of my teachers, I never felt hurried. All of my teachers had experience in the subject they were teaching, and always had tips and tricks to share! I really enjoyed that I could contact the school by phone or email. My best advice is be prepared, don’t be afraid to ask questions, make a schedule, and have an organized work area! I successfully graduated, I have been offered two full time jobs since I’ve graduated, and I am currently working full time in my field.

A great experience overall. The Graphic Design program is well laid out in easy to follow modules that guide you through all the essentials. I like how the lessons are structured allowing you to focus on one program at a time and understand the ins and outs before moving to the next. The instructors have been nothing but supportive and willing to asssit if you’re ever in a bind or stuck on a particular lesson. I would absolutely recommend CD-ED to anyone wanting to take the next step in advancing their career or simply learning something new.

After taking the Graphic Design course offered by Centre for Distance Education, I was hired at a local newspaper as production, building advertising for customers and designing layout for the newspaper. I became editor to the CFHA Newsletter, which is quarterly, in 2016.

The course work was challenging and fair. The instructors are excellent and available (even on weekends!). I enjoyed the challenge and feel that I learned a lot. I enjoyed having text books which I will be able to refer back on when necessary. The online practicum was engaging and thought-provoking,but a lot of fun.

I feel very lucky to have found this school. The way my Graphic Design course is organized allows me to focus on one skill at a time, and the weekly flexibility is wonderful. The staff is always so incredibly friendly and helpful as well.

It has been a great experience so far. I am doing some travelling and even with communication limited to only email as well as following time changes/adjustments, I am always getting quick responses from any inquiries sent to my instructors. Instructors are always available and if not then they inform me of who to reach out to. The learning material is very relevant and straight forward and I find it a great way to learn one module at a time. Would highly recommend!

Joining CDED was the best decision I made for myself as well as my family. The supportive staff of CDED helped me the whole way from applying, understanding student loan, always available for any questions and eager to assist in every way possible as well as provides helpful transitioning into the work force! I am eager to continue my education with CDED and recommend to anyone who needs the little push, and assistance from the welcoming staff!

The graphic art program only lightly taught the programs and basic art fundamentals; not in depth as it applies to certain industries ie. Textile/sign, illustration .. ect. Each is different, and requires a better knowledge base in that specific field. Business, Self promotion and networking should have been incorporated into the program, as that is where we as artists need to focus if we are to become successful.

I enjoyed the program, but the diploma was not recognized by employers in my area. I graduated in 2011 and have only worked 3 months since them. Very unfortunate as it was a retraining program thru WSIB.

I had a great experience. The instructors are beyond helpful and patient... I never thought I would be able to accomplish such an amazing goal, and they helped me push through to the end. I am so thankful.

I am very satisfied with how they run the school. CDED staff are very supportive since day 1. They make sure that you get the best education there is and are always there for you whenever you need encouragement or help. I do not regret being enrolled in this institution...the best there is for sure!
