My husband and I have switched our weekly take away to a Charlie Bingham curry: tikka paneer, butter chicken or Thai red. Every meal we’ve had has been seriously delicious!! It tastes homemade, not ‘artificial’ like other ready meals & it’s helping us cut back on weekly spending!! Winner, winner- chicken dinner!! (It’s probably a lot healthier too)!

We had the chicken and ham en croute last night and it was absolutely amazing - so tasty and full of flavour - never had a bad meal yet from Charlie Bigham's!

We have consistently appreciated Charlie Bigham's meals for a couple of years now and are moved to try meals we would not normally seek from prepared packages. But the foods that we would not normally buy as ready prepared are delightful, particularly the Macaroni Cheese and the Lasagne, which for us have always been a no-no - until tasting these two products from Charlie Bigham's. For those products suitable for freezing we find the freezer has been a ready stock-pile for meals selected 24hrs ahead. The ultimate satisfaction is that these meals taste just exactly like well cooked, home-prepared food. For really reasonable prices. Thanks Charlie and for all your wonderful staff. Food knows when its in good hands!

Tasted this chicken tikka masala recipe for the first time ever on Saturday. It is by far the best take a way food I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely delicious

The Thai Green Chicken Curry with fragrant rice for 2 is heavenly. Great taste & portion size. Would definitely recommend.

Have enjoyed the mac n cheese, fish pie and today had the red thai curry - this was delicious. High quality oven ready meals 😋

Every dish I have tried has been excellent. The curries are great and especially the red thai curry is as good as anything I have had from a restaurant. Don't change any of the recipes !!

It is difficult to write a proper review at such an early stage, ihave had only one pie so far and that onewas the best shop pie I have ever eaten. Thats the best I can do. I will only do a review when I have had more Experience with more knowledge. John.

I'm not one for celebrity chefs and as a rule avoid them. However, I recently tried your fish pie and I have to say it's the best fish pie I've ever had (which did not please my mum who said she makes the best fish pie and I had to tell her not anymore, which was fun 😁). I've also tried the Cottage Pie which was really delicious. A tad expensive for me to buy too often but definitely worth the price and if that's what it costs to make great tasting food then so be it. I will absolutely be trying more. Keep up the good work you make delicious easy to cook food.

I became disabled and housebound after having Covid 2 1/2 years ago, and one of the things I've really missed is my home cooking, as I now struggle to chop veg and prepare meals. Then I discovered your range of meals at Waitrose, and am slowly working my way through them. I've loved them all so far, and was particularly impressed with the veg lasagne this week - the best I've ever tasted! Even if I ever recover enough to cook again, I'm definitely still going to buy some of your dishes. Thank you.

We have had several of Charlie’s curry’s and chilli and found them all first class. They are extremely tasty and so easy to prepare. We will definitely continue to buy them

These steak and ale pies are the business, for supermarket products they can't be faulted, we've tried other Charlie Bighams products thoroughly enjoyed them all.

No disappointment from Charlie! As my wife is away for 2 months in her native East Africa I have been left to fend for myself. Luckily a friend tipped me off about Charlie Bigham's meals and I have now sampled half a dozen of these and will be going for more. Being a good 13 stone man in an energetic job the portion for 2 is ideal for me and the Haddock Gratin, Lasagne and Chicken Jalfrezi were all so delicious. I confess I am a bad customer as I tend to buy the Tesco yellow-ticket discounted CB meals and eat them the same night. Lovely to have discovered such nice grub, dead easy to prepare and I love the Macaroni cheese too. Very good value on the yellow ticket too, way cheaper than a takeaway and a nice change from tinned soup and cheesy beans-on-toast.

Sticky Toffee Pudding, very good, great taste with custard melts in your mouth. A must buy. Just like Granny made.

Thai Red Chicken Curry: Never had Edamame beans on any curry in restaurant, shop bought or home cooked recipe. They added nothing. The "Fragrant Rice" was very poor. Cooked as per instructions it was dry and there were tiny unidentifiable black bits in it. Eating the rice gave a crunchy experience unlike any rice that I have eaten before in 50 years. Not sure if the rice was as it was intended or had foreign bodies in it. Most went down the waste disposal. Will not be buying again!

A couple of years ago , it would have been 5/5. Today, I found a mushy mess up of beef with pork, and CARROTS!!!!!! That is a definite no-no for me! My husband wasn’t too impressed either. If I had been asked I would have voted for a raise in the price. Not this current mush!!

How refreshing to have a moussaka that is solid and not sloppy, like most supermarket varieties! Really authentic flavours ... simply love it! In fact, I have been impressed by all of the Charlie Bighams meals I have tried - lasagne, shepherd's pie and salmon en croute, to name a few. I am definitely a fan!

Best shop bought pie we have had in ages. Delicious tasty food quality meat and gravy. Pastry was perfect. We're sold !!
