First try with any of these Charlie Bigham’s products (Chicken Tikka Masala). Very pleased with quality, taste and portion size. As good as any Indian restaurant. Will now explore further dishes.

We've been eating Charlie Binghams chicken in a white wine sauce and the fish pie, for ages. Both are superb! Recently, we tried the Chicken and Ham Gratin - oh, it was fabulous! The sauce is out of this world! We are now going to try the Smoked Haddock Gratin. I'm sure that will be just as great! Well done, Charlie!

I’ve often seen the price of these meals & run a mile but decided to treat myself after reading rave reviews. The sceptical part of me expected the worst, as really how good can a ready made lasagne be? & surely they’re all the same? … but oh how wrong you can be!!! This was quite frankly, hands down not only the BEST lasagne I’ve ever eaten (ready & non ready) but was without a shadow of an Italian doubt the NICEST ready meal I’ve had in my 30 + years on this planet 🌎 The flavour is sensational, everything works in such harmony it’s like it’s been blessed by pasta angels. The sauce is creamy, yet not sickening & has the deepest cheddar flavour & if you let this crisp in the oven .. oh my cheesy goodness it’s epic. Every bite was a journey to flavour town, the lentil ragu had a delicate red wine background tang without being overpowering & the lentil ragu was filling, tomatoey & seasoned with herbs. The added veggies provided texture & a multitude of different Mediterranean tastes & whilst each one came through none were overpowering. The pasta was aldente, chewy with a slight give & thicker than most ready made lasagnes so it felt home made. Nothing about this meal said I’m from the supermarket … if you served this to guests no one would know you’d not made it yourself. I rarely enjoy anything from the supermarket this much, but this had me saying wow from the first bite. This was eccellente, magnifico & Stupefacente. A huge BIG UP for Bighams.

Have tried the Chicken&Mushroom pies and they are deliicious - they have a gorgeous generous filling of tasty roast chicken and lovely mushrooms all in a sumptuous sauce!

I had a Charlie Bingham's steak and ale pie for dinner. Came in its own ceramic dish. The pie crust was very light and flaky. Plenty of chunks of meat in gravy. It was very tasty. I will certainly buy more of these. Fabulous. Thanks Charlie!

Just had the chicken jalfrezi and I reckon that's the best curry ready meal I've ever had and which also resembles a meal or take away from an Asian restaurant. Better than M&S or Waitrose too who both try to give it a decent go.

For a couple in their nineties, not sure their culinary skills are as good as they used to be, ready meals are a boon. There are a number of lines to choose from in the shops, but the ones we like best are Charlie Bigham's. Last night we had his chicken and mushroom risotto - it was wonderful - even better than his fish pie. Our regret is that our nearest supermarket stocks so few, but the journey to our nearest Waitrose - requiring a train and gthen a tram ride - is well-worthwhile.

Father just had one of their curries and has now got food poisoning. Thanks Charlie Bingham! Not!

Our family very much enjoyed many different Charlie Bigham entrees when we were living in the UK recently for several months from the United States. Delicious!!

We've enjoyed Charlie's fish pie before, but last week had his Thai Green Curry. Fabulous sauce, and even the rice was exceptional! So much tastier all round than the cheaper ready meals, so we'll be back!

It's delicious, but really wet and soggy, which makes it kind of revolting, texture wise. It's also too small and overpriced. I've tried them all, and M&S "Our Best Ever Lasagne" is still the best by a long mile.

Had the Steak and Ale pie last evening . Absolutely horrible. Very thin gravy with nasty vinegar flavour . Few tiny cubes of meat .

My wife & I have been eating Charlie Bigham’s meals for many years & we think they are the best, widely available that you can buy. We haven’t tried everything in their wide range but of the ones we have eaten the lasagne is our favourite; the balance of the ingredients is perfect, a thoroughly delicious dish.

These meals taste fantastic! Better than M&S or Waitrose anyone. And honestly better than many good restaurants. Superb care creating the delicious meal with the best quality ingredients! I’m definitely hooked and I’m fussy! Top marks Charles

I have never tasted a chicken tikka this good in my life. Me and my husband were blown away by the flavour. Was restaurant quality food- unbelievable.
