Do not waste your money and time on MedCerts. I did the Sterile Processing program with the idea of completing this program then later the surgical technologist one. Thank god I stopped after the first one and went to a legitimate school after. You can work in sterile processing without this program and get your certificate without this. The certification test is a fraction of a cost compared to this program. I regret not doing my research before saying yes. Get the textbook and study and try to find a job in sterile processing and attend a real in person school for surgical technology. After working in the hospital, I have met people who were doing MedCerts for surgical technology and they had no idea what they were doing and some even got fired for incompetence.

I have had great results. I enjoy working on my own but I also know that I have support. The advisors do an awesome job.

Medcerts has been the worst experience of my life. It seemed as if they didn't care as soon as they received my FULL payment. My student advisor never called or checked on my journey with the school. I was unaware that after completing my course online, I would have to find a clinical site on my own which was extremely hard as to why I didn't start my clinicals until a year and a half later. Fast forward too today as I try to sign on too my medcerts account to take my test for the NHA, I'm not able to log in. Reason being is because they suspended my account. I don't understand the concept of that at all. I paid for this course why would you suspend my account? I was told on the phone after a year they suspend everyone's account. Why suspend a student's account if they haven't finished? how else am I supposed to take my test?
