Unfortunately two of the plates came smashed, but I rang up about this and Eleanor and Louise in customer service were very helpful and sent me two new ones straight away.

United Kingdom | 13 January 2021I telephoned today to enquire about my kitchenaid order. The woman on the end of the phone sounded utterly bored by being at work and was unfriendly. She reminded me they had 7-10 days for delivery. After reading the reviews on here I feel a little worried it may not materialise or will arrive in a damaged box! Surely it's normal to process an order when it is placed or shortly after. I placed this on Saturday and would have hoped by Tuesday afternoon it would have started being processed. I really hope it arrives!!

United Kingdom | 07 January 2021I ordered Christie towels to the value of £99. The towels are lovely of course as that is why Christie’s are well renowned. However the towels delivered smelled damp and fustie. They’ve clearly been poorly stored. It isn’t good buying quality merchandise that is delivered in a bad way.

United Kingdom | 06 January 2021I ordered 3 items for my husband for Christmas. 2 of the items were fragile and one was a chopping board but they all came very well wrapped with tons of bubble wrap and in a box. Delivery was very quick and I was notified of dispatch and delivery date. Couldn't want any more from a company than that!

I prefer companies that honor their prices and when not possible to be honest with their reasons.

United Kingdom | 18 December 2020I ordered a 57 cm Weber for a great price from Dawson. The box arrived undamaged but after opening the box I discovered the main bowl was damaged. I emailed Dawson and Julie was really helpful and great at responding to emails. They contacted weber on my behalf and dealt with the replacement. It took a little while for weber to send out a new main bowl due to COVID-19, but Julie was great at chasing them for me. The main bowl arrived, and I am now looking forward to using the weber! Thank you, Dawson, I would recommend and will be using again.

United Kingdom | 13 December 2020Bought a few plates and bowls to up the quants on my already bought dinner set. 1 bowl was damaged when it arrived and I sent an e Mail and within 2/3 days a replacement was dispatched. No hassle good old fashioned customer care. Well done Dawson’s.

United Kingdom | 11 December 2020Very poor service. I ordered a canteen of cutlery for a wedding present. The happy couple requested a mahogany case - web site said 10 in stock! It arrived and it was black. Emailed a few times- no response! Telephoned and they said oh we don't do the mahogany case any more! Why send something we didn't order? I hope we get the refund in a timely manner - I will have to shop around again!!! Very couldn't care less attitude. I wouldn't shop here again.

Spain | 10 December 2020Cheapest site I found for what I was looking for, even with delivery. Ordered on Monday & was delivered on Thursday. Sent by DPD with a tracking link and told me the 1 hour time frame in which it would be delivered. No issues; would order again!

United Kingdom | 09 December 2020I ordered a £1999 Sage the Oracle Touch at their Black Friday sale, at a decent discount (sold to me for £1499). However, now, nearly two weeks later I receive an e-mail that they are refunding my money as the item is suddenly out of stock. The item showed more than 10 in stock when I made my order, and furthermore remained available at full price after Black Friday for a long while. I rang their "customer service", who were entirely unhelpful. They refused to supply the item when back in stock or to substitue for a different colour one. I wonder if those who purchased it at the full price after me are facing the same problem, or is this simply refusing to honour an advertised price.

United Kingdom | 05 December 2020I ordered a dulait milk throther and have just received it in the post. They have sent me the older model of the one i ordered. When i ordered it it was a picture of the new model with the correct order code. I received the older model but on the paperwork they have put it down as the newer model. I get the feeling they have thought they have pulled the wool over my eyes. I would return it but it is for a birthday present tomorrow so it is just going to have to do. I wont ever use this store again.

United Kingdom | 02 December 2020I wanted to order a Prestige Thermo Smart 28cm Stir Fry Pan advertised on ecookshop website as 'Now £40' suggesting that it had been reduced in price. Shopping around I noticed that other retailers were selling the same wok for between £30 and £32. I contacted ecookshop to let them know it hadn't been reduced as inferred and suggested they change the pricing on their website. The woman I spoke to was quite indifferent. Prestige has confirmed the RRP is £39.99 so not only is ecookshop suggesting it's been reduced but charging an extra penny on top of the RRP. It makes you lose faith in some retailers who try to mislead customers.

Unbeknownst to me, the appliance I had ordered would need an adapter to accommodate the UK plug, and there could be issues with the warranty moving it out of the country. Rather than taking the money I was offering them, they went above and beyond, and informed me of these circumstances, asking if I wanted them to ship the product, or refund me the money. I answered I would like a refund. To be clear, this error was completely mine, and they saved me a bunch of trouble. I got the first message, non automated by the way, in the middle of the night. Responses thereafter were swift, and I have already been issued a refund. tl;dr saved me from making a self-inflicted mistake. Great service!
