**Warning do not buy** customer service is terrible. I brought a BBQ from them and it was advertised as the wrong size they think that's my problem not theirs and are refusing to collect it. Please be warned

Ordered a BBQ (very expensive one) in plenty of time for a special 18th birthday BBQ - it arrived badly damaged by the delivery company (Palletways) - they put the forks of a fork lift truck through the middle of the box it seems. Spoke to Dawson's a few times but go nowhere. Eventually someone did own the issue and arranged for a new one to be delivered and the old one collected. New one delivered, again damaged by the Delivery Company (Palletways) - seems this time the forks on the fork lift clipped the top of the box and damaged some contents. Dawson offered refund but I advised that I just wanted a BBQ that I could use so they said they would contact the manufacturer to order the damaged items. They then stated they would offer some compensation but wanted to get the issues resolved first - their offer I didn't ask for compensation. I decided to contact the manufacturer directly myself and advise them of my issue - the manufacturer was excellent even though it was not their issue as they wanted their product to be perfect so they ordered the damaged parts for me. About a week / 10 days later the manufacturer dropped me an email to say Dawson's had asked for the same damaged parts to be ordered and delivered - a week / 10 days after Dawson's said they had already ordered them for me. The manufacturer advised there would be a delay as the replacement items were being shipped to the UK - Dawson's never advised or came back to me on this. By this time the 18th birthday had already passed and no built BBQ. When I went back to Dawson's to speak to them about the Compensation they had advised they were going to offer due to the issues, the response was "we've met our commitments now so there will be no compensation". Now I didn't ask for Compensation originally, I just wanted the damaged parts replaced as I wanted a working BBQ, Dawson's offered it. Dawson's customer service was, and probably still is, a waste of time - I had to keep emailing to get anywhere. A Company is only as good as how they solve issues when things do not go right. That is the difference between a mediocre company and an excellent company that you would use again. The reason for two stars rather than just one, is that the BBQ was expensive, but still a good price compared to other places and that the first one did arrive when they said it would, unfortunately it went downhill from there. Dawson's is not a Company I, personally, would use ever again.

I ordered the wrong bowls . Julie in customer services cancelled my order and refunded my PayPal account immediately. I ordered the correct ones and they arrived 2 days later . Absolutely perfect service. I would buy here anytime and I am delighted.

Please note that we did not want to put any stars on this review, unfortunately to post this review we have to at least put 1! They don't deserve any! Terrible customer support, more precisely, its lack and do not care about thier customers. Horrendous!! They sold me used tent as new one. They not respond on any messages about bad quality purchased product and the desire to return it. We sent many messages and no answer. Later we connected Amazon for that problem, because we've bought "premium tent" from Dawson by Amazon Marketplace. After exchanging countless chat messages with Amazon, I was finally able to get my money back. We would strongly advise not to buy from them!!! AVOID THIS SELLER!!!

I ordered via eCookshop and afterwards read some of the reviews which concerned me. I received the order very quickly but one of the items was broken. I called their customer service team, lady was apologetic, requested I email with a photo which I did, a replacement was sent that afternoon and I received it the next day. I can’t argue with that. My experience was a good one backed up by very quick issue resolution.

Absolutely terrible experience. We ordered garden furniture at the beginning of April for delivery at the end of June and paid in full. Delays in the stock reaching Dawsons were not down to them but manufacturer supply. However had to keep chasing for updates on delivery, customer service was not proactive in providing updates or responding. Finally when advised several weeks ago that it had been delivered to their warehouse they lose it on route to the courier. After being made to feel like I was pestering all the time for updates, we have no furniture and are awaiting full refund. If I hadn't chased and contacted the courier directly I would still be waiting. Do not recommend. Awful customer experience.

Fantastic company, ordered a BBQ from these guys after being messed around by another company and the item arrived within 2 days packaged on a pallet with not a sign of damaged. Brilliant service, product and price!!

I cannot understand why this company has any bad reviews. I ordered my Hartman Heritage Tuscan 3 piece bistro set on 17/07/21 and it has been delivered today 27/07/21 The furniture is gorgeous and very very well packaged. I would highly recommend this company as customer service is second to none. A special thanks to Julie and Ryan at Dawson's who ensured the furniture was delivered promptly as it was a 90th birthday gift,many many thanks to you both. Don't take notice of bad reviews,you won't be let down or disappointed. As for the couriers Palletways,once again,no problem. Donna was so helpful and delivery guy was professional and polite. I will definately order from this company again..many many thanks for the gorgeous furniture and excellent customer service all round.

Ordered a garden set in March, with a significant saving over my local garden centre. Originally stating it wouldn’t come until June, in mid-June I contacted them and received a prompt reply from Louise saying update by end June. It arrived on 2nd July and I unpacked to find 2 missing footstools, fearing this would be the price I’d have to pay for getting such a discount, I nevertheless contacted Louise on the Friday, first of all she assured me she would get it sorted, and confirmed on the Sunday they were left behind in warehouse and she would get them to me - they’re arriving tomorrow (Tuesday) In all, well exceeding expectations with a follow up service beyond what I thought I’d get from such a competitive vendor Happy to recommend - thanks Louise!!

Bought an espresso machine from ecookshop / Dawsons recently. The instructions were missing so contacted their customer service dept. Spoke to a Jason who was extremely helpful, checking similar machines in warehouse to determine whether instructions were missing in those, promptly phoning back & offering either a full return or 10% refund of purchase price. V impressed with customer service in this instance and would therefore use Dawsons again.

Ordered an item that a) took ages for delivery (not the end of the world) and b) is damaged! I've emailed Customer Services twice yet I've had no response, 3 times including todays email! I think they are ignoring my email as they don't want to deal with the damaged item! I just want it exchanged for a non damaged item! A response would be nice!

We had a problem with damage to a parasol that we had bought as part of our garden furniture set. Dawson's were on the case immediately and they liaised direct with Hartman's to arrange for a replacement to be sent. At all stages of this process they kept us fully informed of progress. An excellent service from Dawson's, we will certainly use them again in the future.
