Seen a masterbuilt mes130p on their website with price match seen the same item on another site for less but asked if they could match but got an email back saying they wouldn’t match the price why advertise price match if you have no intentions of matching the price the only reason I wanted them to price match is because I wanted other items that were not available on the other site and wanted to order all my items from 1 place

I have had 2 deliveries in the last month from the BBQ store of this company and l have had an excellent experience from ordering to delivery. My orders came with DPD on both occasions and it was seamless. I was updated every step of the way via email and txt. The reason l ordered from Dawsons was because l wanted to buy from an independent and l remembered when we bought our garden furniture 5 years ago we were very impressed with the service they provided back then, so opted to use them now. I was surprised to see not all customers have been as lucky as us which is a shame. I rang the store and found the person l spoke to very helpful. Helen, Liverpool

Shockingly bad customer service. Ordered a Traeger and a few bits from them, was told next working day delivery when I placed the order, emailed the following day for an update, no response, called they said next working day(again) emailed again, no response. I then waited 3 days, given the situation with COVID, sent an email, no response AGAIN, order finally turned up 8 days later, but only after i had to call palletways myself to see if they had my order. I have since sent a complaint email and still not had a response from that 3 days later. The worst customer service I have ever received, especially give the amount of money I have spent on the order. I assume there will be no response to this review

I ordered an Outback Jupiter 4 burner hybrid on the 16th April it arrived on the 20th April, when I got home from work I decided to unpack it, so took out all the the boxes, on checking the main body I saw that the metal on the lid was split about 15cms on side and 5cms the other i got onto BBQWorld and sent photo i was then emailed on the 26th saying outback were asking which end i replied that both ends were damaged i then asked for some verification on what was happening and they said build it on taking out the side panels i saw that one of them was crushed flat on one side and crushed on the otherside, on speaking to a nice customer service agent she said there was none in stock would i be willìng to wait till july, uummm No. It is now getting picked up on tuesday and yes i will get my money back, but i might as well have gone to the Range or primarks for a BBQ as the quality off it was terrible and the time to sort it out even worse.

Ordered £500+ of Weber items as I was upgrading my BBQ. Chose BBQ World as they were the cheapest and reasonably local to me. Passed them a few times and always looked like a good set up. Needed to make a slight change to the order once confirmed and Louise sorted it all out. Fantastic service and Louise was a real credit to BBQ World. Updated me throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Awesome company, real need to support these smaller independents in tough times as the service they offer, particularly after service, is always 110%. Plus, often as cheap, if not cheaper than the high street retailers. Fab!

ON LINE ONLY Very disappointed with this place because I rang up to order some garden furniture and was told ON LINE only, i explained that I was not very confident with online shopping and could I not just order and pay over the phone as I am not sure how secure on line payments are, was told to busy to take to take orders over the phone and could I not get someone to do it for me. I thought this was a good old fashioned shop we’re the customer was looked after but they seam to have lost the true value off customer service in these very difficult times were have found ourselves in, VERY disappointed.

Ordered a lovely acacia garden set of 4 last Thursday, arrived today Tuesday. I was pretty amazed to be honest because of COVID-19. The package was well wrapped. The actual set is really good quality, was very easy to assemble and fits perfectly in the spot. Communication from the website was excellent, from order confirmation to shipping updates via DPD. I can see the set has now sold out on the website- my only feedback would be it would be helpful to have the dimensions listed on the product online. It may be that I just couldn't see them, but luckily I guessed right. Thanks for your great service we very much appreciate you delivering products at the moment.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY HORRIBLE AFTER SALES SERVICE HAD MISSING PARTS AND A FREE GIFT TRIED 4 3 WEEKS TO SORT OUT NOW TRYING TO SEND BBQ BACK OVER A COUPLE OF BOLTS I SUPECT ILL HAVE P[ROBLEMS WITH THIS AVOID AT ALL COST ITS A PITY AS THE BBQ WAS REALLY GOOD

I visited this shop in Clitheroe and didn’t realise I’ve been purchasing from the online. Definitely my first check shop for new stuff. I had a fault with my artisan pro series blender . 10 yr guarantee. I had a dreadful experience with kitchenaid direct customer service, but Claire at Dawson’s ecookshop customer service was a total legend in her support and providing me with a direct phone number to get kitchenaid to replace my blender. It ended well, but without Claire’s help I’d have still been on hold, I’m sure! Great service. I’ve also bought new items since my blender experience and great service and delivery. I went for SMEG this time!

Due to current delays my order was a little later, which is understandable. Communication was prompt and clear. Having read reviews on here I was worried the porcelain items might arrive damaged but they were well packaged and perfect. I would use ecookshop again for future purchases.

Ordered for the next day delivery like a lot of people on here. Ordered early morning 5 days ago, thought it was coming yesterday so waited in all day. Phoned customer service this morning assured me it would be here this afternoon, by 3:30pm still no contact from anyone so phoned customer service only to be told their offices are shut and to phone between 9am and 5pm (not the first time I've got this message when phoning within the correct time).

My garden furniture was due to arrive this morning but because the delivery driver had one digit the wrong way round on the postcode they decided not to turn up. On contacting Dawsons/Garden Furniture World immediately I then had to call them 4 and a half hours later for an update only to be told that it wasn't them who put the wrong postcode and that it's being delivered on Wednesday (two days late). Not great service when the customer has to call a second time to find out what is going on. I called Dawson's at 9am - the delivery company (Panther - who are just as useless) tell me that they only had an update at 11am. Two hours later Dawson's apparently only try to deal with it when some common sense would have sorted this out in minutes. After all I have the booking confirmation, my identification etc to prove that I am the right person to have the furniture delivered to. Of course, the person who they did turn up at could have signed for it and had a free furniture set. I chose an independent company rather than someone like John Lewis as independents need it more these days. Big mistake with this company. So I have no answer as to who made the admin error (which I accept can happen) and no furniture. Dawson's need to remember who the customer is and not pass the buck. I don't care if your supplier may have got it wrong, I bought the product from you!

I bought some excellent 400 thread count and 300 thread count branded sheets and pillowcases from this company. The price was fantastic and the items are absolute top quality : beautifully smooth with a silky finish and hemmed cuff in an attractive dove grey. Just what I wished for, I'm tired of trying to keep white sheets white. Customer service kept me informed every step of the way, and delivery was as scheduled and very prompt. I am delighted and will shop with you again. 5*, well deserved.

We recently purchased a Broil King Sovereign XLS 20 BBQ. We absolutely love the BBQ and have already started to use it. The people at Barbecue World were extremely patient in helping us find the right BBQ from a huge selection available for our needs. They also offered assembly, delivery and connection to our gas line which we were pleased with and took advantage of. An excellent customer experience..I recommend BBQ World for your BBQ needs and much more as they offer much more than BBQ's.

The worst customer service I’ve experienced. They’ve sent me the wrong item and the box was soaking wet. I’ve had to pay the postage for the incorrect item and the manager couldn’t anything about it.

Ordered an Napoleon Rogue 525 SIB and came in a couple of days. Service was great, best prices I could fine and the packaging was amazing. Great to see customer service like this and looking forward to some lovely sizzling days ahead. Also the email notifications from Palletways were really helpful too - well done
