I purchased a Aritisan Kitchenaid. It arrived really quick. When I unpacked the kitchen aid I was unable to remove the wisk. I did read on the internet that this has happened on these machines. I phoned up Dawson and the lady in the ecookshop department was really helpful and arranged for a replacement machine to be delivered to me and the faulty one to be picked up. I had difficulty with the delivery firm as they went to the wrong house the first time. I phoned Dawson again and they took down delivery instructions and asked if they could give the delivery firm my telephone number. With their help I managed to receive the mixer. Every time I spoke to the e cook shop they were really friendly and helpful will definetley use Dawson again.

Well, I think Dawsons are brilliant. Everything I wanted was in stock at a good price. 1.5 hours after placing my order, I received an email saying I would receive my items the following day, and that I would receive another email giving me a delivery time slot. The following morning I received a one hour time slot and the parcel arrived exactly as quoted. The eleven items were perfectly packed. You can.t do better than that, so I will certainly use again. Thank you Dawsons and well done.

I had a great experience with Dawson's, having purchased the Alexandra Rose casual dining set. It was considerably cheaper than buying at my local garden centre and as much as I want to buy things locally when it's hundreds of pounds difference it's just not going to happen. Customer service was perfect from the start and Claire ensured the set was delivered on the day I requested and was very prompt with email replies. When it arrived it was very well packaged and easy to set up. I'm loving the set which is exactly as shown on the site. The quality is so good for the price I paid. I would certainly buy from them again.

I wanted a kettler 2 seater for an upcoming garden get together, so after using Dawsons online chat box and being assured it would arrive before the date i needed it i placed the order. Fantastic price considerably less than elsewhere as in the clearance and with a discount code. Was also told online to telephone once my order was placed with with my order ref number to discuss when I wanted it delivered. Got straight through on the phone and explained situation and was told could have it in two days! It arrived by pallet today via a very helpful delivery driver and it's now in my garden. Great experience and very happy. Thank you!

I have shopped at Dawson,s for years and sometimes have had to take things back l have always found the customer service to be excellent whoever l have dealt with and the product knowledge to be very good whether it is Clitheroe or Skipton definitely a good family run business

DONT BUY!! I wanted to make an order on a Kettler product that was advertised as white washed for £999.00 I called to speak to someone and make order to be told the one in photo that had a description of white wash was a further £200,00 more I said you clearly advertising something and deceiving customers the sales girl was NOT interested she then told me she had updated information. She said "RATTEN" meant dark brown and she knows cause she been selling for 3 years I said rattan is the style and you are selling under false pretences NOT bothered have reported to TRADING STANDARDS BE CAREFUL ANYONE BUYING!!!!!!!!!

I ordered Kettler Garden Furniture Set from Dawsons. The delivery was scheduled and arrived as stated on the website. One of the items arrived with a shattered glass (this was due to a poor packaging by the manufacturer). Based on the reviews, I thought that I will be in trouble BUT the replacement item was delivered within 3 days. The customer service was good and always responsive. It somewhat feels that the bad reviews might not be justified.

The worst service ever. Avoid at all costs. Other review sites are showing complaint after complaint. I have been asking them to contact me for a week regarding a faulty Kettler chair. No response at all.

First of all I would give the furniture 5 stars however the service and communications from the Distributer was shocking and unprofessional on every level. When the Berkeley garden furniture I noticed the weather proof cushions did not look the same as the website so I drove to a local garden centre and sure enough they had mis-sold me old stock. After 3 weeks, 5 emails I eventually proved they had mis-sold their product, they were slow to reply to emails in some cases over a week, they lost emails and they all had to be resent and it was only sorted when I the threatened to claw back the card payment and pointed out they were in breach of the consumer credit act. You will love the furniture but look for another Distributer.

Paid over a thousand pounds for a bbq from them. Realised the day after delivery, after using it, there were issues with it. Rang customer services and was told to deal with Outback (the manufacturers). As far as I am concerned my contract was with Dawsons they have my money. Its still not sorted as Outback are not interested either and said I should be dealing with Dawsons. Have emailed Dawsons since but not had a reply, waste of time ringing as they are not interested. Please do not use this company they take your money and then don't want to know.

Very disappointing. BBQ was delivered late and damaged on arrival. I wasn’t offered a replacement, only repair. They were not confidant the next one wouldn’t also be damaged. Had money back to buy from a company that can deliver an undamaged item.

Apparently there is a Customer Services Department for this store. I wouldn't know as they won't answer any emails and I have no idea where my next day package (which is now 5 days late) is. Even DPD won't answer me. Great way to lose future customers, well done.

Ordered a garden table and parasol 3 months ago and it arrived with no hole for the parasol. I’ve since received 3 more slats, all snapped on delivery. Customer service is terrible, they don’t seem to care at all, you have to call and email constantly to be told they’re sorry, it’ll get sorted, but I’m still waiting. They’ve taken my money and now don’t care that I can’t use what I have paid them for.

Appalling customer service. Often you don’t know how good or bad a company is until something goes wrong. DPD ‘lost’ the package. We contacted Dawson’s who promised to look into it and get back to us. They didn’t. Rang again, promised a call back by 9am Monday. No call back. Rang them to be told the person who is dealing with it is on holiday for the week. Promised another call back. You can guess the rest ..... Not good enough. Go elsewhere - we will.

I ordered a beefeater built in BBQ from BBQ World and was pleased to see it had free next day delivery which I would hope so on an order of that expense. My disappointment came when the BBQ arrived without the bracket to install it. This was not possible to find on their website so I had to call customer services who gave me the product code. I then had to order this separately which did not make the free delivery threshold meaning I had to spend money on delivery. I said to the customer services worker that it was not stated on the BBQ information that brackets were not included and she said well obviously we don't research all the products which seemed odd as they sell the brackets as well. My garden build is now behind schedule and I am out of pocket.

I placed an order with Dawson's (the linen department) on the 10th June. I was aware that they took 7 - 10 days to deliver (which is, in my opinion, far too long when they take the money out of your account immediately). This morning, 8 days later, I have received an email from them saying one of the items is out of stock. I've asked for my money back for this item - presumably the rest of my order will follow in a few days. Come on Dawson's, buck your ideas up, your customer service is pretty awful in this day and age. (Other online retailers offer much better service, I ordered something from Belgium on Friday and it's being delivered today).

Garden furniture arrived damaged. Contacted customer services who said they'd look into the matter. Received nothing for over a week and have since sent several additional emails with no response what so ever. Appalling customer service and clearly, as others have written, they couldn't care less. Woud not recommend at all, ok if all goes well but judging from the reviews this is far from guaranteed and the following service is non existent Would not recommend, look elsewhere

Major concern here is with the delivery process. As noted in the other negative reviews the delivery agent is palletways and they have a less than stellar reputation, check palletways.com on Trust Pilot. My specific experience. I chose BBQ World, over similar priced options, specifically because of the next day delivery. As soon as I placed the order and got the confirmation email I started to fear the worst. "Next day delivery" from the website became "We anticipate your order to be delivered the following working day". The word anticipate is not what you want to hear when you need to wait at home for something. I contacted customer support who helpfully provided the palletways tracking reference. This confirmed the delivery was a depot 10 which with some detective work turned out to be Guildford which was close enough to me to believe it would be delivered that day. After waiting in all day and not being contacted the delivery target day simply updated to the next working day. This is obviously not the first or last time this will happen with this company. Rather than wait at home another day hoping (anticipating?) the delivery I chose to cancel and took my business elsewhere. How to to do better? Provide the tracking reference by default, even if it comes after the confirmation email. Demand more from palletways. 1. Failure to deliver on the required day and no communication is simply not acceptable. 2. Why are customer facing tracking portal using depot numbers instead of identifiable locations?

Ordered Napoleon PRO605 with 24 hour delivery with hope to enjoy long weekend. Did not arrived on Friday and now they promising delivery on Tuesday 4 days later. Very bad service!

I placed an order with Dawson's department store on Thursday and was pleasantly surprised when it turned up on Friday. It was packaged perfectly and looks and works great, a very nice addition to my kitchen. I would not hesitate buying from Dawson's again 😁
