BBQ World / Dawsons Delivery - BEWARE! When you decide to pay for your purchase you agree to their T&C’s which is a pallet delivery to curb side and not to your front door. I have never experienced such a stress inducing delivery with customer service putting the phone down on me as I was exasperated at the inability for them to understand how and why this would be the most frustrating situation to find myself in. £1000 delivery of huge Spirit Weber BBQ left in central London on the pavement ?!!! So much for a surprise birthday gift for my husband! Thanks Dawsons / BBQ World, I’m not certain there is one reason I could find to recommend using you again.

Online eCookshop experience. Ordered 6 Portmeirion tea plates in the sale late last year ('23) Looked lovely with the rest of my Christmas table setting. Browsing through again on the weekend, noticed the original plates were still half-price, so bought an additional 2. Plus 2 more of another design, also half-price. Besides the superb price, the delivery was so speedy and the items were very well wrapped and packaged. The DPD van delivered at the time specified (via text) so was home to collect. Am delighted. Highly recommend.

Ordered some garden furniture online, speedy order and dispatch. Problems with delivery, couldn't delivery on scheduled date due to a previous delivery being refused and blocking access to the pallet with my furniture, delivered the next day but 2 of the chairs were damaged beyond repair/usage (cast Aluminium takes a bit of force to break). Reported this to customer support and within 3 working days replacements were delivered and the damaged chairs taken back. Excellent service.

Found this company by accident, they were advertising exactly what I wanted, checked first by email that they had them in stock, the email was replied to almost immediately, order placed for 2 x garden storage boxes, Cut it short the items arrived within 28hrs of placing the order, and to cap it all at a fantastic price with an extra 20% off. Cannot praise them enough well done.

I am really not happy with the service I've received from DDS. The fact that I ordered a grill and the shelf at the same time, someone should have picked up that the shelf would not fit the grill I ordered. For me, that is where the first opportunity for improvement should be. The second is when I received an email telling me that I need to place a new order for the correct shelf is another. This should have been done once the previous opportunity was identified. The third is that it took me asking for a link to the correct shelf to find out that you don't even offer a shelf to fit the model I purchased! All of this cost me an additional £14 in shipping to return the incorrect shelf.

Brilliant ladies on the floor - Went in to look at BBQ's ended up buying a garden heater - They did a cracking deal and didn't mat an eye lid when the dog went awol. 3rd time I have bought from there in shop, despite being 30+ miles awa. Genuine good good people

Having just broken my wife's treasured Jamie Oliver mug I needed to order a replacement. Looking round they are quite expensive and eCookShop / Dawsons had them at a very good price - less than half of Amazon's. I was a bit put off by the many negative reviews, but reasoned that as it's a relatively small purchase, I'd take the risk. I paid £1 more for it to be delivered by a carrier rather than Royal Mail. Everything went great: I ordered it on Friday and t delivered on Monday via DPD and was very securely packaged. There's maybe an argument for there being too much packaging - but I'd rather that than receiving broken items. I also got emails saying when it would be delivered (an hour's time slot) - which it did, bang on time. Given I've had a good experience I thought I would leave a review to highlight this. I've not had to contact customer services so I can't comment on how good (or not) they are - however the fact that I haven't needed to is great.

eCookshop order. Super speedy delivery via DPD. Denby Dinner set arrived safe and sound and at a fabulous price, compared to other places. Delivery was free of charge and packaged very well indeed. Would recommend and definitely will be back again. Over the moon. Thank you Dawson’s.

I would love to write a review of our order but despite paying for express delivery guaranteed to arrive before Christmas our order has not been delivered and it's now Boxing Day. Perhaps eCookshop should look at the reviews of their chosen delivery company, DPD, and use a firm who can 'deliver the goods'.

Appalling service. Had a Le Creuset item delivered and the Le Creuset box was wet and smelt of mould. This was NOT the couriers' fault as the brown packaging box it came in was dry and undamaged. The box is important when you are spending £100 on an item and clearly, given the time of year, is a gift. Spoke to eCookShop and they asked me to email over pictures, which i did within minutes. No response. Had to call and chase a response. Resent the email and was told they are looking into and should be able to get a replacement box. Yesterday, 1 working day, before Xmas i have to chase AGAIN. Was told they do not have a box and it's either a 15% discount or return the item. I had little choice and had to return the item. This has been going on for two weeks and now i have to find a replacement gift. I'm sure the refund will take weeks ! Oddly, the item is still in stock on their website so why could they simply not replace it? Shocking customer services

Great experience. Very competitively priced products, arrived just 2 days later over Christmas to, via DPD in the allocated time slot. Couldn't be packed any better. Reasonable free postage at over £50. Added an additional item to the order, and price matched to. Easily contactable. Surprised at some less well received reviews, as flawless in my opinion.

I ordered a Christmas gift on Thursday night, hoping it would be delivered next week, but aware that my order was placed just after the Christmas delivery cut off so may arrive after. The gift was breakable too so I was concerned as to whether it would travel ok. The following day it was posted with DPD and now less than 48 hours later it has arrived, well packaged and in one piece. The price was the best I could find online. Would use again.

Very poor after service. I sent an item back as was a duplicate. Now been 12 days and still waiting for a refund! When I initially wrote to their customer service department they stated that they had to pick the items from Royal mail. I am still waiting for refund 12 days later and they are now not replying to my emails to give any sort of update. Very poor service without my item refunded!

First time use of Dawson”s ecookshop online service. Their reply was fast when I enquired about delivery times for the product which is obviously a good sign. I ordered a Le Creuset pan set, it was delivered the next day, The price was super competitive - £105 cheaper than Amazon, so service and pricing faultless. Obviously would recommend.

Terrible customer service. They take zero responsibility for the products they sell. All they do is blame the manufacturer and delay replacements which are worse than the original parts. I will never purchase from Dawsons again.

It was my first experience with this company. Ordered a pan of one luxury brand on ECOOKSHOP for very a decent price, seems the best on the market. I was a bit apprehensive with those more than 30% of negative feedbacks but all went very well Placed the order on late Monday evening and was delivered on Wednesday morning by DPD precisely at indicated time
