Flawless price match service with Garden Furniture World (trading name of Dawsons) … made an enquiry using the online chat service … told to make the purchase at the higher online price and then provide the order number via email. Did that and the price difference was refunded within minutes. Whole process took less than an hour. Big thank you to Lucy and Jane.

Rude staff spent £100 on bits and bobs recently a very disinterested member of staff called kelly couldn't leave the till area quick enough in a rush to go chatting to a colleague. Not a thank you a goodbye or a smile for the cat during the whole transaction, wont be returning, my money is as good as anybody else's.

Ordered a BBQ from bbqworld.co.uk which is part of Dawsons department store. Have ordered from these guys in the past and also visited the store numerous times. The BBQ I ordered was cheaper than everywhere else, hence the order. They only had 2 in stock so ordered quickly. Item was despatched the next day and delivered by DPD the next working day after. Ordered the Thursday evening and with me Monday morning - no complaints. Box did arrive pretty banged up and ripped, but product inside was fine. Happy and would order again.

Ordered a Kettler garden set from GardenFurnitureWorld (part of Dawsons). Amazing price, delivery was within three working days, and the delivery guy was great. Absolutely brilliant and saved over a grand compared to Kettler's own website.

Ordered a Life garden sofa set with a Beach table and Beach side tables on the sofa. When it arrived it was on a huge pallet but the lorry didn’t have a tail lift so we had to help the driver unpack and lift everything off the lorry. Lorry left and we unpacked our sofa to realise the side tables were the wrong colour and material, not Beach but grey plastic. Called customer services and after a couple of weeks they agreed to replace the sofa with the correct one and take back the wrong one. When the new delivery arrived it was, again the wrong one, exactly the same as the original delivery. So having helped the delivery driver unload the replacement, I had to help him load it back onto the lorry to be returned. Called customer services and they didn’t seem to know the range of Life products, they kept telling me the entire order was wrong but it wasn’t. It’s a simple error of the slats on the sofa we’re the wrong ones. paid a lot of money for this set and they can’t get it right. I found a company who can cut teak slats to size for £117 so have asked the retailer to meet the cost. Totally hopeless. I’ll never order Life furniture again.

I ordered a Char-Broil Gas2Coal online via bbqworld.co.uk (Dawson's Dept Store child company). The driver left it outside the door. My wife was not well and asked the driver for help but he said he is not allowed to move the BBQ inside the property. I rang bbqworld sales team but the women wouldn't even give me the change to talk. I wouldn't recommend bbqworld.co.uk. Very unprofessional people.

Just order elsewhere. I ordered a pizza oven 2 weeks ago. No sign of it. Apparently they are awaiting stock. Why they are placing orders online when items are out of stock is beyond me. I have asked for a refund....no response.

We ordered our new Weber Performer Deluxe through BBQWorld.do.uk and received a brilliant service. The online order system was easy to use and the BBQ was delivered within a few days, as promised. We couldn’t find the Weber PD in stock anywhere, but could see that BBQ World were expecting them in stock later in the week, so we pre-ordered. I received the dispatch email the very day that they re-stocked and the BBQ arrived 2 days later. The palette delivery driver was incredibly friendly and the box and was in perfect condition, and placed on our driveway. Perfect service from start to finish.

Very rude staff, lied and said I wasn’t sent an email regarding a replacement chair, sent them a screen shot of it but that was ignored, they then blocked me from contacting them! Wouldn’t recommend buying from this company, take your money but no after sales help

The phone receptionist was really rude. Apparently it's my fault I wasn't home to receive a delivery that was less than 12 hours since I made the order. Normally that would be great, but if you don't know it's arriving, you can't arrange for someone to be home. He said it indicates this in the e mail. It doesn't. I wouldn't use this company again just for the attitude of the staff. Don't work in customer service if you don't like dealing with people.

Placed order for a Winawood Sandwick Polymer Wood Effect Zero Maintenance Recyclable and Fully Weatherproof 2 Seater Bench (121.6 x 60 x 93cm) – Stone Grey on the 3rd of May 2023 with a promised delivery date of today 6th of May 2023 and guess what nothing has turned up My order was place via the amazon UK website I can't really fault amazon but as my order did state delivery by 8pm today 6th of May 2023 nothing I have emailed dawsons department store twice today with no reply . Even amazon have contacted them aswell on my behalf. Furthermore to my dismay the seller has charged me £349.95 for my order but directly through there website it £30 cheaper at £319.95

Ordered a Kettler outdoor table & chairs, plus parasol through Dawson's Garden Furniture World company. They were delivered together quickly, but some of the chairs were damaged in transit. I emailed the support address and collection and replacement delivery was arranged very promptly. The replacement chairs were all individually boxed to ensure the same issue did not happen again :-) Problems will inevitably occur with online sales and delivery. It's how you deal with them that sets you apart - well done Dawson's. Excellent service, happy customer!

Ordered garden sofa set, through garden furniture world, delivery expected on Wed 5th, stayed home, phone call in afternoon to say it won't be delivered, and will recieve it the next day and a number to call, called next day to be told we will recieve it by 5pm, no show, phoned and was told tachograph was high and driver had to return. BH weekend spoiled as no garden furniture, phoned to complain, just had we are sorry about that, so order cancelled. Should not give a delivery date if they cannot supply. Poor service.

I Purchased a stand mixer from Dawsons department store for £525.00 on the 16th February. This has been used twice, today we used it and it keeps cutting out when mixing. Beware, anyone who purchases from them, you have 30 days only and that’s it for your mixer to be replaced if it goes wrong after that it’s a repair! No discretion even though it’s 2 weeks out!!!!!!!! We had this for 6 weeks and it has to go back to kitchen aid for a repair which will take anywhere up to 21 days. Customer service is great before you buy, after that it’s tough luck. My advice if you choose this company is to use it every day for 30 days to make sure it’s okay, so you have the chance to send it back. Plus it costs you to package it up properly, £26.00 in total as you need a double walled box, polystyrene peanuts and bubble wrap. I Would definitely not do business with this company again.

Our Son in the USA ordered an Air Fryer for his Mum's birthday and unfortunately when it was delivered we found it to be damaged.It is fair to say both being in our 80's this caused us some concern wondering what the company reaction would be, we needn't have worried. Louise from Customer Services immediately made contact to say no problem, she would arrange for it to be collected and on receipt issue a full refund to our Son in LA. At every step of the way Louise kept us informed told us not to worry it would be quickly sorted. In this day and age with people so quick to criticise companies for poor responses in dealing with complaints we are pleased to say how well Dawsons Customer Service team ie Louise did, prompt, efficient attention in resolving our problem.

I ordered a pair of Le Creuset oven gloves but never received them. Julie from customer service was antagonistic and rude from the start. She provided a photo of the parcel left outside my door on the front porch as “proof of delivery”. No sorry or offer to send a replacement. Just bad form.

Excessive Delivery Charges - £9.95 to deliver to the Isle of Wight via DPD and no idea as to when it will arrive ! They need to understand that whenever I use DPD its the same price as the Mainland
