We've had it for about a year and it has actually gone off a few times -- all legitimate, such as someone leaving a bathroom faucet running by accident. It's never turned off our water when there was not a legitimate problem. I'm deducting one star only because I can't specify the type of pre-alert I get before the system shuts off my water. I have the iOS app set up to give me a 5-minute warning before shutting off the water, but the warning sound (if any?) is so quiet that I don't notice until after the water has been shut off. I'd like to be able to assign one of my alarm sounds, or anything that will make a lot of noise so I notice it on my phone before the water is shut off. Or better yet, receive a text message and/or email in addition. Also, I saved $1000 per year on my homeowner's insurance premium after installing this device (it's a big, expensive house.)

Spain | 06 June 2020Thanks to Flologic, I sleep tighter at night because I'm not afraid of any leaks. One day it happened to me as a child and it's just a terrible experience. I didn't want to repeat it anymore and I installed the FloLogic system in my house. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but to me its usefulness and my peaceful sleep fully justifies its price. The installation of the system went quickly and neatly.

United States | 12 February 2020James I always worried about leaks when i left my house for an extended period of time. I worry no longer since I installed Flologic. That alone is worth the price of the product. It is one thing to buy technology but I always wonder what happens when I need technical support. I can tell you that the support I have received has been spectacular. If you are in the market for leak detection look no further - Flologic should be your choice.

United States | 11 December 2019Second house in which I have put a FloLogic unit. After looking at the alternatives I was much more comfortable going with one I trusted, understood, and could easily integrate into my alarm system easily. If I had another house, I'd buy another one.

United States | 10 December 2019This is an excellent product, preferred by CHUBB home insurance, especially for homes on Cape Cod. You need to hire an electrician and a plumber to install - this fact is not known until the plumber arrives and cannot install without installation of associated electrical. The remote access works well, and the mechanism can be paired with alarm systems. Get it!

United States | 03 December 2019UPDATE 12/16/19 My plumber figured out that the new water regulator (placed on the system on the same day as the flologic) was defective. Once replaced, our hot water pressure was restored to normal. Only reason review is not 5 stars, is because I STILL can’t get the flologic hooked up to my WiFi even with tech support help. Will try that again another day I think. UPDATE 12/6/19 Since writing this review, I have spoken to someone in the company. He was very responsive and seemed sincerely to want to solve my problems. Some things still not working (WiFi connection, water pressure), but waiting on plumber to try to fix it next week. Tips for Flologic: App Update needed! You need to be able to MANUALLY enter your network name and pw, not just allow it to be found, during set up. Some of us have more security than that. Hardware Update Needed: Would it KILL you to have an Ethernet port on the bottom so we can bypass all this unreliable WiFi stuff?🙄 Come on. Will further update rating if the plumbers find the issue. Stay tuned. OG Review 12/2/19 Have had this thing for two months and I hate it. False alarms constantly. But worst is the way it has affected our hot water. Showers are at a reduced level of water pressure, and if any other water is turned on at the same time, even a sink somewhere else, both the sink and the shower drop to half pressure and temp goes down. Only on the hot water. If I wanted to take cold showers I’d be fine. Previously, people could take showers at the same time without noticing any drop in temperature or pressure. We have tankless water heaters. I want to rip this thing out and say to hell with the money. So angry. Oh AND it refuses to connect to my WiFi. Good times.

United States | 16 November 2019I am going out of my mind. My water keeps shutting off and I can’t find any leaks . I’ve increased flow and bypass increased but it is detecting water and I’m at a loss. I just allowed the shut off and don’t know what to do. I have had a recent leak so worried. No sleep. Help. Turned humidifier low. Turned toilets off. It is very cold in NY. Have had the installer here - can't figure out why the timer runs and there is no water running - you can look at the water meter. This is issue is causing so much stress and worry - how you leave home?

United States | 14 November 2019Just had system installed. Can not get system to connect. Support says they think issue is with their server. Makes absolutely no sense to me that the app will not connect to the WiFi module unless the WiFi module connects to their server. Said to wait 24 to 48 hours and see if it connect. Message from App is credintials are not valid. Not a good start. Will update and change rating if appropriate. Certainly a bad start. Update Tried starting over and got system connected to the App. Rebooted the WiFi system. Deleted the App from my phone and reloaded. Reset the FloLogic WiFi module. Used the “Forget This Network” setting to delete both my home network and the FloLogic network from my phone. Then went thru the process the only difference from previous tries was on the password input for my home network. Previously could not get the keyboard to go away and started the sync process by hitting the enter key. This time somehow got the keyboard to disappear and used the Next button at the bottom of the screen. During the sync process the Connection light was blank. And I pushed the WiFi button. Not sure which of these was the magic dust. Half way thru the 3 minute or so sync process the green connection light appeared. At the end of the process got the same Credentials Are Probably Wrong message. However after a minute or two got an alert saying all was connected. And was able to see all the setting options etc. It was not easy but got the APP installed Now to figure out the proper settings and get the unit working.
