All the staff at the Accrington branch are a credit to the company, nothing has been too much trouble for them and the level of care that goes into dealing with each property by this team combined with clear communication as to what is going to happen next is utterly incredible service. Terrible service. Under pressure from day one to accept a low offer so Mortimers could put their 'Sold' sign up, Refused the offer, and then they accepted a bogus offer after I told them the buyer was not genuine. The house sale fell through, inevitably. eventually sold after I did the viewings myself, and they had the cheek to claim full commission for doing nothing. Do not waste time with them, there are plenty of Estate Agents around that are cheaper and more professional. I will never sell a house again through them and unfortunately will not buy a house that they are selling.

I was not sure who to go with as I have never been in this position. Matt viewed the property, I feel he was honest open & realistic about it. Chloe was great throughout, she rang & e-mailed with any updates throughout, she even let me know when she had not been contacted by the third parties involved. She was always positive, upbeat and honest a joy to deal with! (I can't believe I said honest twice reviewing an estate agent!!)

Easy to communicate, establish contact and discuss progress and issues

Having booked an appointment to view a property in Padiham, my wife and I was greeted by a grumpy home owner, who said the agent was running late and made us wait outside. The agent turned up 15 minutes late asking if we had an appointment, which we confirmed we did, she said sorry it was cancelled, with no notice from Mortimers we showed her the confirmation we received that morning. What a total embarrassing moment from a total joke of a company, un profession pathetic and very really poor service wasting our time, it wont happen again !

Staff really helpful hose well advertised

Buying a house can be a stressful experience but my recent experience with Mortimers was a positive one. The Staff (especially Veda) were brilliant. They communicated ever stage of the transaction clearly and were always on hand to answer questions and solve problems. They acted as an excellent communication bridge between me, the vendors and our Solicitors. I could not recommend them highly enough!
