I was looking to sell my house in Feb 2024 and chose Mortimers of Blackburn. The sales person Joe B who came to my house was really helpful and explained everything fully, and in no time at all the house was on the market with excellent pictures. They have a 7 day contact centre in case the branch is closed or cannot take a call, so all calls relating to viewings always went through, and if I ever had any queries, I could always speak to somebody on the first try. They managed every aspect of the viewings and were sensible in taking block bookings at the same time where there were multiple viewings on one day. I received an offer in May 2024, and after some negotiation accepted it. The next aspect was quite painful, this was no fault of Mortimers but was due to poor solicitors. Mortimers acted as a fantastic go between, putting appropriate pressure on the particularly slow ones. They kept me fully updated at all stages and were very responsive. My thanks to Joe V for doing this, he would often have to make several calls and send several emails a day towards the final stages. He was always helpful and keen to get things resolved, without his help, the whole thing would have fallen through. If you are looking for a decent estate agent to sell your house, I would highly recommend Mortimers!

Veda was very helpful, the process was very drawn out other than that no problems

Our initial sale was through Jonathan, who was absolutely lovely as we went through the offer process, constantly checking in and informing us of every step, as well as being very personable and funny. Once it was passed over to the progression team, we were fortuitous enough to have Emmy. She is an absolute credit to the team and business, consistently following up and chasing when we had difficulties with the solicitors. We couldn’t have completed without her input, her time and investment and caring and positive attitude. We cannot thank her enough.

This was my first time using Mortimers Accrington and I just wish I had used them the previous six times in my life when I had been buying/selling property because they completely outshone other estate agents. I considered Jonathan to be more like a friend than an estate agent. He was always friendly, efficient, informative and understanding (I was selling my deceased mother's property). He sold the house in rapid time and gave me good advice regarding several offers. Mortimers at accrington were great, when we sold the house Johnathon dealt with most of the queries and was very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable . I was dealing with the sale of the cottage from my home in the Midlands with only occasional visits. Although the sale process turned out to be longer than I had hoped and at times problematical I was grateful for the help, guidance and advice from Sam and Ben in reaching a successful completion.

There were a couple of problems with my house purchase and poor Grace was the one that picked up my case. The sales negotiator was on leave and the vendor was frustrated as was I. Grace took charge and smoothed things over to ensure the sale went ahead when she hadn't been involved in any of the sales process. Give Grace a little something as she really did help a lot.
