Absolutely awful company. Say that they charge £23 but actually charge £89. DO NOT TRUST THEM! It's so close to Christmas, I don't have a lot of money due to the pandemic and I have unfortunately been scammed into paying a ridiculous amount of money which could have been avoided if I'd gone with another company. I thought they were a legit company but apparently not.

Please ensure you check trustpilot before using this service It is an utter scam, they charge you over double what the GOV.UK website charges for absolutely nothing They will also provide you with no refund or a ‘contribution’ this is around £12 and a complete insult Do not waste your money on this disgusting company please use the GOV.UK website... I will be advising everyone I know about them as well so no one else falls into their scam DBS-Check-Online should be ashamed of themselves

Total con, they charged £89 not £23

Scam artists who are charging you to fill in a duplicate of the government's own form - you can get the DBS check for £23 with the same info and faster by going to the gov.uk website; they charge you £89. They don't make that clear though - their sites says you'll pay £23, but they chrage £89. Then when you read the small print it says £23 THEN £66 service - but that's a lie, they just charge £89 up front. This is a fraud and will be reported to my bank, the police and Trading Standards. Misleading advertising is illegal. Also are currently ignoring a valid and very timely (literally seconds after "payment taken") cancellation request that I sent to them.

Awful awful service, avoid with a bargepole, I wish i had read these reviews before, My mother wanted a DBS check, filled out a form (14/11) and paid but then changed her mind (16/11) (she never uploaded any documents) asked for a refund, ignored the first refund form and they two weeks later came back with, "we've started processing" so you can't have a refund. They'll no doubt reply to this with their usual prepopulated reply but its all lip service. Just avoid, these scam companies do not deserve to be in business

Requested a refund I was told I would receive but now cannot get contact from anyone. I am tight for money and need the refund desperately. Very disappointed. Cancelled in time for the DBS not to take place so slightly confused why I've been charged considering I will not be receiving a DBS.

Really annoyed!! I’ve just got charged 89 pounds on my bank account for a request that clearly stated £23 !! Not contact number or form of contact the company, only via e-mail. Tried to contacted within minutes of the application to process a cancelation after receiving the bank statement and is impossible. Fraud and Scam. Trying now to report this company to the police PS: as you see below , this is the crap they text back, scammers By the way , on your term and conditions states the cancelation can be provided always that the request is prior to the application been submitted. I had send you two emails and a third one already demanding my refund ; and after that is when you send the confirmation( the one I’ve never got even by the time of the purchase) Stating this : GIVE M MY MONEY BACK

False information,misleading price charging £89 after only seeing £23, refused to give me full refund within 20mins of using the site, managed get £39 refund only. Now they're refusing to change address for postage after using an old address of mine expecting me to pay even more money for there mistake . Scam and total rip off...... reporting to ombudsman P.s they did the comment below after I emailed them showing my review... I've still been charged £50 well over price when I repeatedly asked for it to be cancelled. Covid times and your ripping good honest people off... shameful

SCAMMERS. CALL YOUR BANK AND SAY YOU HAVE BEEN VICTIM OF FRAUD. THEY WRITE IN SMALL FONT THE FULL PRICE WHICH IS £89 BUT SHOW £23. Please dont use it!! PLEASEEEEEE Paid £89 for a DBS thinking it was the genuine government site. They come top 4 times in your google search. They are spending a lot of money to scam people. I cancelled this application immediately but 12 days later and I am still waiting to contact me and refund my money. Ringing is a joke!! Been waiting for hours. Scammers like this company is finding the perfect excuse in the Covid 19 situation. Please dont use this site.

A friend advised me to go through this site to make my request. The site takes care of everything and is very reactive, I was surprised by the speed of the customer service who answered a question in less than an hour. I highly recommend this service.

SCAM!!!!!!!!! People need to be careful when checking for their DBS online. When processing for the payment the total amount was bold for the amount of £23 and this company took £89 my account. People pls go direct on the government's page for your DBS this company is scamming people their services is not worth the amount they are charging.

I put in my order on the site expecting to pay £23 as advertised when going through. What I didn't realise is in the small writing below it states an additional £66 will be charged as well. This is my fault for not reading it, but for final checkout, it would be expected a full-price to be listed before paying. I later read the reviews and a lot of the 5-star reviews seemed dodgy as they were very similar and within the same time frame... I read the negative ones and they were in some depth. I asked for a refund of the £89 about 30-45 minutes after I had sent off my payment, which in their terms you were able to ask for a refund. They later said my application was in the process around 8 am the following day and denied my refund. I accepted the fact that I wasn't going to get my money back so I left it, either to receive a completed DBS check form or being scammed... A few days went by on the 18th Nov i received an email from them with a pdf of a completed DBS form, which I was surprised about. I would rate the service not the best as I would expect them to be able to come to some agreement on my request for a refund. The sneaky pricing on the website needs to be SHOWN at the CHECKOUT rather than stating it is £23, which it isn't on their website as there is an additional service fee, which isn't clearly shown at checkout. The only positive is I had received an online form from them in less than 7 days. However, I am still waiting for my physical form. These issues need to be sorted and the misconduct of not displaying the full price for a basic DBS NEEDS to be displayed at checkout. Hope these get sorted fast!

Naughty naughty naughty. Clearly has ‘£23’ fee on the last page and in bold but then underneath it states a further ‘66GBP’ will be taken once the application is processed. Different format so the eye, using muscle memory, doesn’t pick up on it as there is no £ sign. Anyway, it must have been processed very very quickly as when I paid, the full £89 was pending on my account, I hold my hands up I should have read it fully rather than rushing and being excited at the prospect of a new job. I’ll take hit of paying more than I thought I was but my biggest concern is the security risk. Will my details be handled meeting GDPR compliance? Oh and another thing, when trying to send an enquiry via the website, I was unable to send. I very much look forward to a reply!

I applied for a DBS yesterday through this company as my family has been financially hit as many people have during this pandemic, and I am looking for extra work. I understood the cost to be £23 which was stated on their checkout page, only to look at my bank account and £89 had been withdrawn! I absolutely cannot afford this so contacted the company the same day, only to be told the price is clearly stated on their services page, which it is NOT. It states a standard DBS is £23 and they OFFER a unique service of £66, it does not say the ‘unique’ service is MANDATORY. I’m further horrified and appalled, as when I contacted them I got a response from Daniel telling me they cannot issue me a refund because my DBS has already been processed and issued, but I only applied for it yesterday have no confirmation email and have not received it so how is that possible?? I’m disgusted that deceiving companies like this are allowed to operate and take advantage by profiting slyly from innocent people, you should be ashamed of yourself.

This company is a rip off. They do not tell you how much their service costs. You fill in the paperwork and before submitting it gives you a price; for my wife it said £23. We found they charged £89. When I looked into it they had the price hidden in their terms and conditions. This is a very underhanded way of extorting money from unsuspecting people.

Was not given an application number in the confirmation email so cannot track my application. 10 days on now and have not heard anything, tried to contact, no phone number only email. Very concerned. I understand covid may delay application, but for no response to emails.....

DO NOT USE. They have breached GDPR guidelines and laws exposing other applicants email addresses, whilst also demanding more payment having already taken out more that double the price that was advertised. Currently in the process of reporting. EDIT: reply to there comment below: Over 2 months late at acknowledging A member of your company included another customers private contact information that i then had access to without their consent. That is a GDPR breach.
