The Full Monty has landed, wow, it is gorgeous. Such excellent workmanship, I shall take care of it and use it for work and put my personal bits in it as well. So I can easily repack it on that day and use it for my paperwork, keeping my diary safe and other personal items in one place on the other days. I wanted to get my son something special, useful and long lasting for his 21st Birthday. Henry was really helpful with advice in choosing and designing the right thing for him. He is thrilled with a large satchel. It is beautifully made and the leather is much softer than I expected. Really pleased with the present, and so is my son. So much better than something he’d never use and would gather dust.

I need to carry two mobile phones (work and personal) but I couldn't find a belt case which would fit them both at the same time. Henry made me a custom leather belt case with space for two phones plus a small zipped pocket inside to carry a few odds and ends. He did a very good job and I'm very pleased with the result. He also repaired the zips on a couple of other leather cases. He completed the work quickly and his prices are very reasonable. I would recommend him for any custom leather work you may need.

Henry is a great craftsman and also has wonderful customer service. I bought a large satchel with all the available additions. It's a thing of beauty and I will treasure it and take good care of it for hopefully the rest of my life. As a minimalist I like to have very few possessions but of good quality. This really fits the bill and it will only look better with age.

I ordered a zipper backpack from Henry Tomkins and its exactly what I was looking for. Its beautiful and functional. I have had it for 2 weeks now and Ive taken it with me everywhere. The one I got is the smaller version and it fits all the essentials really well. Its very comfortable to carry and Ive received several compliments already! It feels very sturdy and well made. The leather feels really nice to the touch and I am looking forward to seeing it age (and gain character with use to make it very much mine) . Henry was attentive and meticulous when I wrote to him asking for a grip bag with a few alterations so it could double up as both a work and weekend away bag. This includes a leather zipped pouch which is slightly expandable, so I can securely store a laptop. He responded quickly and gave my request a lot of thought. I am so delighted that my Husband discovered Henry’s website when he searched the internet for leather satchels. Henry was so extremely helpful with my enquiry and processing of the order for my satchel. It arrived within the timescales advised and arrived the next day after dispatched. I cannot tell you how very pleased I am with the satchel… beautifully crafted, exactly the leather and colour expected and I asked for a slightly longer strap which is just perfect. I am awaiting receipt of my third "Henry Tomkins" creation. The other two have not worn out or suffered breakages of any kind in fact over ten and fifteen years of heavy use they have improved with age. Henry's work is lovely, the materials are lovely and in my contact with Henry he has been lovely. So you can keep your status symbol (why when ever third person has one... mind you I do live in Essex) over priced "designer brands" I am Henry Tomkins for life!

I've had one of Henry's briefcases for over 20 years. I still love it, even though I have no real use for a briefcase any more! I have recently received the leather briefcase that I had ordered from Henry. I was impressed by his honesty, as well as his craftmanship. Henry was always accommodating to my requests and queries. The quality of the bag itself was fine, the leather was thick and of good quality. Unfortunately it seemed that some of the coating from the brass lock had chipped off, but buffing and polishing should take care of it. The bag itself did not come wrapped in bubble wrap or any other protective material which was a shame as it may of protected the brass coating from chipping. In conclusion I do believe that the bag was worth the money. I would be happy purchasing from Henry again.
