Henry kindly offered to repair the corner stitching to a well-worn but beautifully made book-bag of his which I bought in a charity shop. Returned to me within a week. Lifetime guarentee is honoured and these bags just keep growing more beautiful with age.

Henry's bags are beautiful. I have just had delivery of a second one. My first was a dark brown leather satchel style but with rucksack handles, he made just perfect additions at my request (such as an attached key fob and extra pockets). The quality was so beautiful, after a year or two I ordered a different style that is more shoulder based, its arrived today and I'm going to use it straight away for work. I really have never seen anything of this quality, even at country shows with craftspeople selling their work, this is truly very special and the leather is gorgeous quality. Absolutely amazing build quality. They can last you a lifetime. I’m on my 3rd. (Slightly different size and shape for each) all custom built as I intend to pack them out. Great for global travel when we get back to doing that. Personally they are worth every penny compared to some more expensive and less quality bags that I have had that didn’t last.

I placed an order with HT Leather just before Xmas, hoping against hope that I could get a satchel for my other half before the holidays. Henry got in touch with me to tell me that he keeps a couple of slots open for last minute orders. Money paid, slot taken and 4 or 5 working days later the satchel was received. Ten years ago Henry made a leather briefcase for me which I've used ever since - it has outlived most of its contents, laptops, and jobs, it has travelled around the world and it still looks as ready to leave for work today as the day it was made. When my branded rucksack died, it made sense to replace it not with another plastic branded bag, but to have Henry make one from leather. I'm as sure I'll never need another rucksack as I am that I'll never another briefcase. Both are wonderfully made, spectacularly well designed, and give off a little joy each and every time I use them.

Simply delighted with my satchel "for life" which I received for my 40th birthday. Henry spent an hour of his time on the phone explaining in detail the different options and leathers, so the buying experience was the polar opposite of going into a brand store and paying twice the price to a shopping assistant who has no knowledge of leather whatsoever.
