United Kingdom | 13 December 2024This company tried to scam us! My car is due for insurance renewal in Jan 2025. Confused.com sent us a few quotes and with added perks we decided, unfortunately, to go for Toyota Insurance Services. We went through the steps on theit website, we checked everything carefully, we put in our card details and our home address and we hit the check out button. As the confirmation came and we checked again the details to be sure all is in order, we see that the home address on the policy is an old one. We called immediately to rectify this but we were asked for an additional £25 to change the details! When we said we don’t agree with it and we would like to cancel the insurance for which we have legally 2 weeks to change our mind they said that would charge us £50!! Sadly, we will have to contact now the credit card company to get the transaction reversed, not to mention our waste of time. Absolutely shocking!
