United Kingdom | 06 November 2022Only way to get a response is to email their complaints dept as you won’t get through to a human being on the phone. They wouldn’t give me 1 day to give them an extra £900 and apparently they no longer cover seat anymore?

United Kingdom | 05 November 2022Don't go for this service, they only attend the new policy sales calls only, and they will not help to give you any information if your a existing customer, you need to wait in queue for 30min to 1 hour, even that is not guaranteed, they have live chat with no agents.

United Kingdom | 03 November 2022Currently as I start to type this, I have been on hold on the phone for over an hour. Every few minutes an automated voice states, 'We are experiencing a high level of calls, and someone will be with you shortly'. I am ringing on behalf on my 81 yr old mother to renew her policy. How could a pensioner hold on the phone for an hour. This has happened to me before ringing on behalf of mother, one would think I would have learnt by now. Absolutely shocking. As I type the phone has been answered (1 hour 5 mins). I have now been put on hold which is allowing me to type this again as I have been told that the administrator for the policy has changed and they have not carried over the fact I am authorized to act on my mother's behalf. The call handler apologized for the delay. They stated that the car insurance that was outsourced is coming back under the umbrella of Toyota. When I explained the length of time, I had been holding for they stated he would speak to someone in management. On coming off hold I was informed I could pay for the renewal but could not discuss the policy. The call handler was professional and courteous but think I will need to shop around next year for my mother. Total time on phone, 1 hour 22 minutes.

United Kingdom | 15 October 2022Dreadful customer service - zero reply to emails when wanting assistance re a quote - promised 72 hour response but absolutely no communication ( especially as it relates to a brand new Toyota purchased from one of their dealers ) spent hours trying to get through on the phone and just on hold with messages ‘that they have low staff currently ‘ Totally NOT going to bother to get the quote as clearly unprofessional and inept Will get a quote from an insurance company who can actually communicate with us 😢

Only found out after contacting online chat (60 mins waiting) That I needed to hand over photos of my DL, DLS, DL Documents, and pictures of all sides of my car plus the engine bay. No emails, letters or phone calls from them. The online chat employee was rude and I never received my deposit back.

Absolutely shocking apparently there would of been nothing they can do to help, although I took out extra European cover. If it was down to them I'd be dead at the side of a road in the french countryside. If it wasn't for a kind french man that stopped and helped me to a garage after 12 hours.the french man wouldn't accept a Penney for helping me. And you pay this lot a premium and are as much help as a chocolate tea pot. Goes to show how this world works.

United Kingdom | 21 September 2022Appalling customer service. They want to double my premium despite no claims. I can't get through to anyone to speak with. I have made several calls. The first was 34 minutes before I got fed up. The second was 23 minutes. It was answered and I was told that I would be put through to someone with whom I could discuss the matter. I then was put on hold for a further 30 minutes. Then the line went dead. I sent an email. This was acknowledged but no one has got back to me so far. Total rubbish. Do not use this company.

United Kingdom | 15 September 2022Extremely disappointed and devastated with toyota car insurance, they have cancelled my policy because while i was away on holiday, they sent a letter to my door and they claimed that they sent me email me about the required documentation but they did not. As i was away I couldn't provide it and when i came back i was in disbelief and in destress about this because i couldnt have done anything more. I asked them if they could extend the date alittle while longer and they replied with no and told me go to a different insurance company also they only sent back half of what i paid and no resolution severely disappointed and do not recommend.

They will find clever ways to keep the money and rip you off. I’ve experienced the same with this rip off fraudulent company. Please be warned and stay clear away from this legal scamming company. Service is terrible too.

United Kingdom | 12 August 2022Recently taken out a policy, they demand details then threaten to cancel your policy but don’t actually confirm receipt so you don’t know if you are actually insured or not. They seem unhelpful when you call, tried to call 5 times today and got cut off at the same point in time nothing wrong on my phone signals all ok. But they kept ending it so I’ve still got no further forward, wish I had just stayed with Esure. It was cheaper for a reason. Crappy customer service.

United Kingdom | 06 August 2022Change address plus admin fee than to buy a new policy and cancelling the current policy even with paying the cancellation fee. I spoke to customer service and manager made me feel that I have no choice and forced cancell policy will not renew future and use again .

United Kingdom | 23 April 2022they charged me way over to change address plus admin fee than to if I buy a new policy and cancelling the current policy even with paying the cancellation fee. The manager who was supporting me made me feel that I have no choice and if I didn't pay now that I will be issued a forced cancellation on policy and when I asked to if I can reply by tomorrow - the answer was it they didn't pick up the email within 7 days possibility of my insurance policy will face force cancellation which will effect my future insurance.
