United Kingdom | 31 December 2021Let me start by saying, Pirate Studios far exceeded my expectations. The price is what appealed to me at first. 60 quid for a full day in a sound treated room, split between me and my 2 bandmates. 20 quid a person for 12 hours?!? sounded too good to be true. My expectations were minimal but they had a gear list on the website so I knew I would at least get some decent monitors for mixing and a treated vocal booth. Upon arriving, we received a code to enter the building and a code for our room. The room was temperature controlled and very cozy. The desk was massive and everything worked as it should. I was delighted to see two beautiful Yamaha HS8's staring back at me! Once we got settled in I realized the mic stand was inadequate for needs so I texted the customer service on whats-app and they immediately gave me the codes to both storage rooms and they had exactly what we needed. The room was great and everything but what really blew me away was the incredible customer service. Sara was right there with me at every step and is the reason I will be coming back. She was quick to respond, polite, and attentive. Even texted to wish me a happy new year! (she did not ask me to write this but seriously, give Sara a raise!) TLDR; Studio was perfect, cheap, clean and everything worked as advertised Customer service is some of the best I've experienced in the UK Sara needs a raise

United States | 31 December 2021Due to their policy I was unable to cancel a session myself within 12 hours of the time slot, however I spoke with a customer support specialist and they were able to do so and give me credit for future booking! It was done quickly as well. Excellent work!

He love’s Pirate and their easy access business model, so on that basis I can confidently recommend them.

I recieved the fine and went on the website, it was easy to find an option to flag up what had happened and get some support. Within hours I had an email to check details - and the team had resolved the issue and parking fine "forgiven" same day, great service and friendly, thanks :)

United Kingdom | 24 December 2021I booked a studio session at Notting Hill studios pirate location and once I arrived the doors were locked and I was not able to have any access. This was incredibly inconvenient as I spoke to other people who were also locked outside that had been there an hour prior to me saying that they had spoken to a member of their team and were requesting a refund. When I spoke to a member of staff they tried to book me another session but no recording studios were available. Even though the services they offer are at an affordable rate it is NOT worth it! There are other affordable studios you can find online! Hell, using your mates bedroom studio is better than this. They do not have cleaners, the environment is dirty, the toilets are an absolute death wish, no staff available on site and the cherry on the cake is that you may not be guaranteed access even when you book. A simple email or text should have been sent out informing us as soon as they knew that those arches/studios were going to be closed. There were female musicians locked outside and with how quickly it gets dark and the backstreet location of the studio, it is completely unsafe. I spoke to a member of staff and asked if anybody had been in those arches/studios that day and they did not give a clear response. Meaning that they had the whole day to let us know in advance to reschedule but they did not. I was disappointed to experience such disrespect and astonished that throughout the day not one employee could sort out the locked doors. It's quite sad how such a promising service for artists has declined due to neglect. Anyway, this is just a friendly reminder to support your local studios and head there, they are more likely to look after their space and respect you as an individual. Take care!

Die Fotos auf der Buchungsseite sahen deutlich ansprechender aus. - Das man keine Instrumente / zusätzlichen Amps ausleihen kann ist wirklich schade - Das Setup im Raum war etwas beschwerlich: -- Wir mussten erst mal einige Kabel richtig verdrahten, was aber fummelig war, weil diese festgebunden und sehr verknotet waren. -- Das Drum-Kit war unausgeglichen: Die Crash war im Vergleich zum restlichen Equipment deutlich unter-dimensioniert
