Nous avons loué un van en octobre et novembre 2023 pour 21 jours. Tout était impeccable, aucun soucis. Nous avons crevé, ils ont été très réactifs. Très sympathiques. Je les conseille vivement.

We hired a 4 berth motorhome from Melbourne (for 2 people) and it was as rough as guts, the outside was knocked around and an absolute rip off for what they charge. The beds were narrow (not 2 person beds) and uncomfortable not sure how they can call a bed a bed with swabs that moved during the night and hips ended up on the boards under us we ended up with one sleeping in the luton bed the other in the rear. We had no nozzle to connect the hose at campsite. Then there was the battery problems we were in the back blocks visiting friends where we parked for 2 days and when we went to leave the vehicle was dead had to get jump started - trying to find the battery was not where the directions told us, any how we found it under the floor in the front not under the seat. We thought after a good run it would recharge however this was not the case once again we had to find someone to jump start us - lucky for us there are some very helpful Aussies to lend a hand who we were greatful too. We made contact with the office we picked it up from to inform them. We ended up driving back to their premises where we picked it up from to get the battery replaced a real dick around wasting one day of our 5 day hire. We felt really ripped off by this whole rental experience. No discounted price for the problems we endured. Just for reference we own our own motorhome in NZ so have a good understanding of motorhoming and for certain we would never rent from this company again.

We recently picked up a sandpiper in Brisbane.Though you should be ready to have some wear and tear issues what we experienced was well beyond that. We voiced our disappointment to the staff, but they hide behind the fact that the van was within specifications. Clearly for us that wasn't the case as the van clearly showed signs of intense usage and was very dirty. You don't see half of the issues on pick-up and during your journey you find out exactly how much wear and tear the van has. We will definitely not be using the services of Cruisin on our next travels and would advice fellow travellers to look at other options for renting a campervan in Australia.

The motor home had so many issues. It leaked on our bed when it rained. The bathroom door flew open all then time while driving. I raised all the issues with them and they offered us a $200 voucher for them and then ceased answering emails. I can't list all the problems the motor home had here, but we did not get what we paid for. They are not a good company to hire from.

Had a Cruisin 4 birth Toyota High Top campervan for 2 months during July and August. Had paid for a camper of less than 4 years of age and specifically asked the person handing it over if thats what we had. She assured me it was, but I later found out, whilst some way into our journey, that it was over 5 years. (Should Cruisin read this review they may see it in themselves to refund us the difference between the two aged vehicles, that'd be nice) Could see there was some wear and tear and maybe that's to be expected. We had to use the mattress for the top bunk to double up on the lower one, that wasn't great but it was bearable. The toaster didn't work, the kettle stopped working and the table broke a couple of days into our journey. Cruisins Roadside Assist (Ahmed) was helpful though and pointed us in the right direction to get replacements. We were refunded the cost in quick time, so that was good. That all said, we thoroughly enjoyed out time in it, travelling a total of 7931km. The vehicle performed well and was stocked with all the pans, crockery etc that we needed. The hand over at Brisbane was smooth with no problems, staff were pleasant. The one thing that could have made it better for us was the matteress problem, it complicated the making and putting down of the bed each day.

Cruisin Motorhome Rental & Campervan Hire Brisbane They should be a NEGATIVE 1 Star. This company is a complete joke. As previous people have said they take $5000 out of your credit card if you don't want to pay their insurance (when you have travel insurance to cover any damage) they don't just put a hold on the money they take it out gone. Then proceed to take 2 weeks to return your funds to you and if you are from overseas you loose money with the exchange rate when they finally get to returning it to you. They make you set up and pay your own Tolls through Link+ and are not told to remove the vehicle off your account when you give the vehicle back you have more $$$ taken off you for tolls you didn't do someone else did. So you now have and account set up and you don't even live in that country. Not to motion the staff at the Brisbane depot how rude the lady is on pickup and drop off....

Very rude & customer service next to non-existent. 1. The vehicle was described on specification sheet as being 0 to 4 years old. We specifically booked with Cruisin as you stated the age of the vehicle and some other providers which we looked at did not state the age. We instead received a vehicle which was built in March 2018, making it over 5 years old. The vehicle was extremely noisy on the road which did not make for a pleasant trip when spending hours driving in it daily. 2. On the second day the road was wet and it became evident the vehicle was not able to handle these conditions. The vehicle slipped whilst on the wet road going down a not very steep hill. As such we drove very cautiously and had to stop often to allow motorists to pass. Upon further inspection it was evident the front driver’s side tyre had limited tread particularly on the inside of the wheel. 3. The vehicle driving lights did not work. Upon switching to “on” there was no light, and when switched to the “off” position there was a very faint light only. As a result we were forced to stop driving by around 5pm daily due to the limited light after this and we did not feel it safe to be driving a vehicle in these conditions. As a result we did not get to all of our desired destinations as we were unable to travel later in the day or early in the morning. When the lights were placed on high beam, there did appear to be some degree of light however the switch to put them on high-beam would not stay on, so the only way to drive with them on was to hold down the high-beam switch whilst driving. 4. The water pump stopped working on day 5 of our trip. It appeared to have air in the line. That night we booked into a paid campsite with water as a result and hoped that this would help resolve the issue by flushing out the line. It did not and for the rest of the trip we were forced to pay for campsites with water as a result of this issue. On the final night, we stayed at a campsite in Hobart which had extremely high water pressure. When we returned the van the water pump appeared to be working when it was tested. We believe this was due to the high water pressure from the night prior being enough to flush out the air in the line as it did not work prior to this.

Whilst we didn't have any real issues with the motor home itself, the hire company was a completely different story. We had $5000 taken from our bank account which we initially agreed to with the contract stipulating this bond would be returned within 2 weeks of returning the van. After the 2 weeks we started making phone calls because we hadn't received our $5000 back and we were told there was a problem with our credit card. So it seems our credit card worked fine for them to take our money but mysteriously wouldn't work to return it! I placed no less than 5 phone calls and 2 emails but couldn't get a result because every customer service operator said the same thing about our credit card details not being in there "vault". Clearly this was a scam for them to delay repayment so they can extract maximum interest on OUR money! After 3 weeks we were now suffering anxiety and we eventually threatened them with legal action. I placed yet another desperate call on a Saturday but was told that nothing could be done because it was now the weekend. After composing a very "colourful" email we awoke on Sunday to an email with our final receipt showing our refund payment. Finally we got our money back but this was off the back of many phone calls, emails and threats of legal action. Disgusting company behavior to put people through something like this and I urge anyone to be very careful dealing with these unscrupulous pirates.

My wife and I had booked a Cruisin Sandpiper 3 years ago because this was the Motorhome that best suited our needs, but due to Covid and border closures we were not able to travel to Tasmania until 13 February 2023. We had confirmation on a number of occasions from Cruisin throughout those 3 years, that the Sandpiper motorhome was what we had booked and would be available to us on pickup date. On arrival to pick up the Motorhome we were not told that our Sandpiper was not available, we picked up the change of vehicle when we saw a diagram of a 6 berth vehicle. We immediately advised the Cruisin Representative that this was not the Motorhome we had booked. The reason why we booked the smaller Sandpiper was because of the narrow Tasmanian roads, my lack of confidence in driving a larger vehicle and also it had a proper matteress on the double bed, for comfort. We then were given the run a round with excuses, one being our vehicle had been allocated to someone else, we then asked to speak to the Manager who said our vehicle that we had booked, had an airbag problem and they did not have time to fix it. There were 3 other Sandpiper vehicles waiting in their pick up area, which we were told were allocated to other persons. My wife asked for us to have one of those and upgrade someone else and the Manager wouldnt help us with that request after a long time negotiating with him. To be honest we dont believe we were given the right reasons for why our booked Sandpiper was not available and you didnt even give us a courtesy call. We felt the Rep and Manager, were just making up excuses on the run, or they couldnt be bothered altering their information to give us another Sandpiper. The large 6 Berth Motorhome made for an extremely uncomfortable driving experience and unfortunately made our long awaited holiday to Tasmania extremely dissapointing. Also as we were not prepared to sleep in the bed above the driving cab because we werent able to climb the ladder to reach the bed, the Cruisin Rep. dropped the rear table of the lounge area, and made it into a double bed, by using the seat cushions, which made for a very uncomfortable 2 weeks trying to sleep on these cushions, which kept slipping off the table. Our Sandpiper had been booked for 3 years as said previously and we are very angry and disappointed with the lack of service that your company provided us on pick up. We wont be recommending Cruisin company Hobart, to anyone in the future and we will not give a good review on Facebook. SERVICE and HONESTY needs to improve. Ron and Sheryl Riley - Sydney NSW

Worst experience, this company is full of crooks, had slight damage and paid the full bond to cover it. When I checked with an independent auto service, they estimated the repair cost to be about $1000, so I overpaid 5 times....never will use this company again

I bought an ex-rental 6-berth Fiat Ducato/Avida from the Eagle Farm, Brisbane depot in October 2021. The microwave and fridge were not working when I bought it and needed immediate replacement. Since then I have spent over $18,000 in repairs: full transmission replacement, clutch kit, gearbox, hydraulic pump, new hot water system - the old one was split and rusty and the water was running under the floor. Worryingly, she broke down in the middle of the road, which is a safety issue, and had to be transported to the repair shop. When I bought it, I asked for the service history and was told that Cruisin' doesn't keep service records. I would have thought that a legal requirment of a vehicle hire firm. Cruisin is ignoring all attempts I make to contact them. I would add photos but she’s in the repair shop!

The vehicle had many issues the most concerning was the condition of the front tires. This became apparent when it rained and the tires continually spun. We we checked them we noticed they were nearly bald! The canopy was damaged and difficult to close without standing on the passenger side front step and manipulate it in whilst my partner worked the winder. The grey water pipe had a split in it and so when trying to empty the tank at the camp site it spilled out under the campervan door and canopy area. Making the area both stink and wet underfoot. The water hose supplied also has a massive leak and so we were unable to plug water directly into the van. The shower was unusable as the shower hose had a massive leak and so the shower rose just dribbled as most off the water rand down the leaking hose. Then an annoying beeping on the first two days which was intermittent. We only discovered on Day 3 it was a faulty smoke detector. So overall a very frustrating and disappointing experience in Tasmania. There are better more reliable companies for motor homes that Cruisin, beware the company that doesn't care.

We hired a 2 person motor home for 15 days with this company and it was amazing! Little van didn’t miss a beat and was exceptional on fuel during our 4000 kilometre trip. It was well stocked with everything you needed but I packed too much. Lesson for next time.Just needs an better tv antenna. I have no hesitation is recommending this company and will book with them again.

We booked Cruisin in Brisbane through Discovery. The booking and pickup process were good, and we were impressed with the staff at the depot on pickup - friendly and explained everything well. We had to transfer our booking from Melbourne to Brisbane at short notice due to the Covid lockdown and this was handled well. The van was 3 years old and in excellent condition. It was clean and everything worked well, except for a couple of the overhead cupboard stays, which were not a big problem. Cruisin only supply two toilet tablets, which is a bit strange, since they are quite cheap to buy. We had read the reviews where this was mentioned, so we brought some with us. The van was easy to drive. Ours had cruise control and GPS, which wasn't in the specifications, so that was a nice extra.
