Pretty satisfying. Vehicle was very clean and in good shape. Everything was working. No complains at all :) We travelled with different campers from different companies and this one was the best so far!

The vans are really well equipped, with everything you need, including easy to use GPS. Great to drive. The only down side was the thin squabs, which are hard to sleep on.

Absolutely disgusted with the level of customer service at Cruising Motorhomes, specifically Cairns branch. I did a motorhome relocation for them from Sydney to Cairns. Unfortunately I left a $350 pair of Bose headphones in the van. They didn't bother contacting so I contacted them. I received an email confirming they had the headphones and that they would post them out and charge my credit card with the cost. I followed them up some time later to be told by Trent Stride (Manager) that their policy on returning items was in the process of changing and they had not posted the item out (as previously informed) and they now required a pre-paid satchel so they could send the item back to me. Following numerous emails Trent replied "I'm sorry but you leaving your headphones behind is not my problem" and then insisting I send them a pre-paid envelope. Complaint being lodge with head office and starting legal action to recover my headphones.

Beyond disgusting. They hired out a vehicle for 15days, unlimited kilometres, with metal showing through the tyre, a bald spare tyre & gas bottles jammed open... A death trap waiting to happen! The grey water system was unsecured to the vehicle & fell off, the dump tap also fell off the chassis. The fridge, reversing camera & LED indicators for the waste water, toilet & fresh water were identified as not working on pickup but no compensation or discount offered. Insect screens on windows & hatches were dirty & heavily torn. The draws flew open around slow corners. The cupboard door handle fell off narrowly missing my child while driving. No user manual, toolkit or first aid kit provided. Roadside assist did not return phone calls. Tried sorting out these issues with the company direct, but difficult to deal with, slow with their responses, will not take phone calls & will only communicate via email. Absolute thieves. Charged premium price for an illegal, unroadworthy, unsafe motorhome. Do not hire through this company!

We picked up our Hi Top with ease in Sydney. Really nice vehicle, perfect for two for 10 days! It was handed over to us clean and we were away within 30 mins. Easy drive and very functional. The best experience dropping off. Simply handed the van back and received an email within 4 days saying our full bond was being returned. Would definitely use again

Cruisin motorhomes has been a good experience for us because of their customer service. We hired deluxe campervan 6 berths from Hobart to Sydney. The van was clean and no problems when we pick up the vehicle. Service was good at pick up place and staff was friendly. We face one issue. On the second night we noticed the light at the back of the van was not working. This was light for the brakes. We called the roadside assistance and they took about an hour to call back. But when he called he was nice and helped us out. They had a repair man near our camping place and they sent him in one hour. He fixed the light quickly and everything was fine. No cost to us which was good. Other than this we had good holiday in a nice van. the campervan feels like home. I suggest cruisin to our friends. I like their service and it made us a very good holiday. I come back again.

August 2019. We have been back from Australia after using the services of Cruisin Motorhomes. We will no longer use them because of their disastrous after-sales service, and because they are thieves. Indeed, we had to have two motorhomes (fiat ducato) in ten days due to defects, breakdowns and products not present in the vehicle while we had paid for it. The first motorhome rented in Melbourne was defective after 4 days of use: gasoline leak in the tank. This failure having been discovered a Sunday morning in Canberra (around 8 am), we could only be repaired on Monday afternoon around 3.30 pm. At first, they said, we will have a replacement vehicle around midday, after around 1 pm. After, no informations about their driver and he finally arrived at 3.30 pm... On Sunday, this company did not want to help us because it is Sunday ... I specify that we paid for insurance 24 hours a day; 7/7. So if you want to lose your time, take Cruisin ! When the second vehicle is finally here (vehicle from Sydney), we immediately detected a strong smell of gas. Nobody wanted to hear or smell. To be sure, after a few hours in the vehicle, we stopped at a volunteer fire prevention center that confirmed there was a gas leak, even though it was cut off. The volunteer assumes a problem of tightness at the level of the bottle or the regulator. We also had no GPS (it is also a paid service). Cruisin tells us to buy our own GPS for a maximum of $ 150. This one could be refunded when we return the vehicle. The greywater tank was not emptied. The clean water tank has not been filled. The full electricity was not done. The fridge was not working because of the gas problem. There was no hot water. A few days after using the second vehicle, a warning light appears. It said we have to control the engine. We had a loss of speed, we can not accelerate. We have regularly to stop the engine of the vehicle, waiting several minutes to be able to leave again. The contact was made again with Cruisin who does not know what we are talking about ... Permanent stress to the idea that the vehicle stops in the middle of our journey. It is clear that we were forced to take this vehicle because the service did not want to provide other means of transport. Do not count on them for a discount. We also had to pay $ 250 for vehicle travel because the breakdown on the first vehicle would be our fault ... And of course, no proof, just the bill to pay at the end. This company is only able to cash the money but not find a solution. Avoid this company as much as possible if you do not want to waste time and money!

We hired a deluxe 6 berth for 9 days. We chose the deluxe as we were travelling with a 72 year old and a 10 month old baby so wanted no issues. The toilet was a constant issue that we ended up pulling over each time someone needed to go and we never ended up using the shower as it ran out before we got to the end of each day. Unsure how ?? We called 24 hour road assistance and they couldn’t help guide us. The tv also didn’t work. That wasn’t a big issue as we were getting away from tv but that’s not the point. After 9 days and 6 people in a motor home, we took all rubbish out, folded linen and placed in one spot and swept out the van and they wanted to charge us a $100 cleaning fee as it was meant to be returned in the same state as we collected it. How is that meant to happen when we have been in road 9 days and to top it off, the water didn’t work sufficiently ??? It was left in the same state as clean, respectable people would leave a motel room.

We hired from Sydney and Darlene was our point of contact throughout. We could not fault the service given, friendly, over the top helpful with getting the toll costs set up for us, we didnt need to think about it. Info given at handover precise and concise and again when returning the vehicle, all was checked with no hassles, Darlene was there to share our experiences and organise our taxi to the airport. From our experience, we cannot fault the Sydney team who made our hiring hassle free and most enjoyable from Go to Whoa. Sincere thanks 😀

Do not trust this company, basically a bunch of thieves, my issue was that due to an error I incurred toll notices, I cleared them and let them know, however this bunch of crooks.. irrespective of the fact they were cleared they charged my card $55 per toll notice. Will never use again...

I have rented a lot cars for 20 years (I am 43), and I have never written a bad review before now! If it had not been for that we got actually got a campervan from this company, I would have called this a scam. Our Booking confirmation for 9 days said a total price of 895 AUD, but after all the charges, surcharges and way to little money back on the bond, the REAL total price was 1359 AUD. When I pointed this out in several email with proof that they overcharged me by 464 AUD, they said its not their problem. So PLEASE stay away! They are also located far from airport, so you will also have to pay taxi both ways (Tasmania), and there are several other car rentals very close to the airport I will chose next time. NEVER AGAIN! Edit: I got my third answer from Cruisin Motorhomes after I replied to their answer on my review here on Trustpilot: "Cruisin Motorhomes have no control over the exchange rate. Motorhome bonds are higher than car bonds due to the value of the Motorhome, the Bond Cruisin Motorhomes charge is less then that of other Motorhome Rental Companies in Australia. Sorry you were not satisfied with this experience." -Well, I never heard about any company charging debet or creditcards more than 5000 AUD in bond, and all the other companies I have used in NZ and Australia did not charge this much! But anyway is your fees still the worst! $100 non refundable administration fee when they charge your bond ( and we lost 350AUD due to low currency from them)! They did not offer me anything this time either, so my campervanrental was still 51% more expensive then the total price on my reservation! As I promised Cruising Motorhomes, I will let write reviews on this company and GoCheap Motorhomes (same company different name) everywhere on the internett, so people dont loose so much money as what me and family did.

After leaving the agency on day one, the first stop, the camper would not start. I called the company and was told I would get a call back. No one called. I fixed it myself. This continued for 4 days and had to continued to have the same problem and the company would not bring another unit. Friday night arrived in Sydney and had the same problem. Thinking because it was a large city I would get help. No. They told me there was nothing they could do until Monday. Do yourself a favor. If you are thinking about using this company DON'T.
