We are so disappointed with this company. We have been told we are liable for damage we did not incur during our rental - it is basically our word against Crusin' motorhomes. Unfortunately, they win as we signed the condition report, we did not notice the minor damage on one of the accessories until a couple of days into our trip. In good faith we took pictures immediately and emailed them through. This is not good enough for Cruisin', and they have deemed us liable. We have travel insurance thank god, but please please people take CLOSE UP pictures of every accessory if you can because if they see an opportunity to charge you - they will. Crusin' are holding onto a deposit of $5000 of our money until they get a cost for the minor repair, they are unable to state how long this process will take. It has now been 10 days. The $5000 deposit is ‘mandatory’ and you are charged a non-refundable $100 transaction fee unless you upgrade to Cruisin’s dodgy insurance package (which has way too many stipulations and loop holes). The advertised price on the Cruisin’ website does not include the $100 transaction fee for the deposit. This company breaks Australian Consumer Law, and we are in the process of reporting this company to the ACCC. Crusin’ have recently been fined by the ACCC for charging excessive credit card fees to customers. Wish we had done our research! On a positive note, the Sandpiper was a nice vehicle and we enjoyed our holiday. Just wish that Cruisin could be more ethical and lawful in their practices - not cool to hang on to people's money with NO customer service or communication whatsoever. WE have engaged every point of contact with Cruisin’ and are met with vague- varying answers regarding the return of OUR money.

The customer service don't reply. We have not heard anything about our 5000AUD bond yet and we returned the car a week ago. They keep telling us that they will send our mesage to another department and then we never hear anything.

Absolutely useless customer care would ot refund a deposit. On being approached they would not help at all. As always the company took the money and did not disclose or ask the renter for information only on pick up of the vehicle did they refuse the vehicle.This issue of age limits can easily be resolved by them with up front disclosures. I wander how many times people have been ripped off with the excuse of read terms and conditions??

Great overall experience. Our motor home was in excellent condition and well equipped. Customer Service was outstanding ( very helpful staff in Brisbane and online ). Definitely will book with Cruisin Motorhomes again :)

Hired 6 berth M'Home for 16 days in September 2018. It was a brand new camper and very well equipped. all kitchen stuff, bedding etc supplied. we phoned on two occasions to extend hire and there was no hasle. wendy at sydney branch was very efficient and concentious. she did initial handover and also inspection when we returned. We enjoyed the experience Joe September 2018

Very dishonest company. Booked a specific vehicle chosen for space as I we are both tall people. During my enquiries I was told by a competitor that that vehicle was not available in Cairns. After seeking absolute assurance it was, I booked it. On arrival, off course it wasn't there. I was advised by Crusin that they NEVER have this vehicle in Cairns. They took my booking knowing full well they were never going to supply that particular vehicle. So we have spent 19 days cramped, uncomfortable and annoyed. They did say it was an "upgrade" however the one booked was a 4 berth. 7.6mtr. Permanent bed. We got 6 berth, 7.2mt. Squab beds and cramped. A definate downgrade. Dishonest trader

Terrible check-in even worse customer service. My advice to look further and never rent here.

We are very disappointed with Cruisin' motorhomes. We rented a vehicle in Tasmania for a week, which was amazing and the staff was very helpful with the pick up. Then, we flew to Melbourne and picked up another vehicle since the ferry was booked out... It smelled like wet dogs and cheese in/ around the mattresses and unfortunately we had to find that out once we placed our heads on it after a day of driving, it was absolutely disgusting.. so the stove wasn't working properly, the small pipe for the water supply did not fit on all campsites we went, and the curtain rails were broken, so our 8 month old daughter had a hard time falling a sleep during daytime naps. We have been calling, emailing back and forth, but no further help or compensation has been offered. No one at Cruisin' seems to be willing to follow up on our complaint. Great service... NOT. We chose Cruisin' since they are a little bit more pricy, but are suppose to have the 'newer' more comfortable camper vans and better service... did not notice any of that at all. This was an upsetting experience and it kind of ruined the 2nd week of our vacation, by putting time and effort to 'fix' things and get febreze etc, plus trying to reach the customer service twice a day. Never will use this company again and will for sure not recommend it to anyone!

Staff were very helpful and the camper was great. We would recommend hiring a 6 person one even though we had 4. Bigger is better
