This car shipping broker is the one of the most UNTRUSTWORTHY businesses you could ever work with. We were trying to find a car shipper and my wife came across this place. A person named Rowan first gave her a quote for $1250. We were contacting different car shippers and asking for quotes but finally we decided to move forward with Crystal Car Shipping which was a bad decision and ended up having a stressful and horrible experience with them. So, this time and after two hours from the first call, I called them and a person named Molly gave me another quote for $975. It seemed shady at the moment and I told her that you gave my wife a quote for $1250 two hours ago!! But of course, they have their excuse all the time and she said "the market has changed since last two hours and we now have another dispatch available at a lower price!!!" which was a TOTAL LIE! It was in fact the bait part of their business model! We signed the contract with $975 and made all our plans accordingly. We shipped our furniture, bought flight tickets and made all the arrangements. A day before the day they were supposed to send the truck to pick up the car a number texted me: "I am so sorry I can not pick up your car tomorrow!" and this number has never called me before. So imagine that you have made all the arrangements and you have to move to another state but right now your car cannot be shipped!! So of course Crystal Car Shipping (Rowan) contacted us a few minutes after the text and said that "the driver cannot pick up the car but you are VERY LUCKY that there is another driver who is willing to take you car the SAME DAY but this time $1450!!" We were so upset that we burst into anger! We called different car shippers but of course one day before the day you want to ship your car all the prices are doubled and tripled! So we were forced into agreeing to the new price! In the first contract that Rowan guy told us that the crystal car shipping share of that contract is only $100 and the rest was for the driver which was again total LIE. In the second contract he said that he had negotiated and the crystal car shipping share is still only $100 and they will not charge us anything until the car is shipped which was again a LIE! The moment they got our credit card information they charged us for $400! Later that we saw all these shady behavior we decided to cancel the contract because we were not even sure they will deliver the car. We not only talked to that Rowan but also talked to his rude manager for about an hour. The beginning of contract says that the cancelation fee is $200 which is a LIE! There are SO MANY contradictory lines in the contract that nothing is clear in it. Bottom line the manager said that if they cancel the contract they will still charge us the $400 because part of it is the car shipper's share which they have to pay and it was a LIE! After our long argue with this manager guy we managed to get the second driver's number. We directly asked from the driver that how much is his share and he said it is only $1050 meaning that all of $400 went directly to Crystal Car Shipping. As a matter of fact, I am sure the first driver who texted me and said the truck is not available was in fact the Crystal Car Shipping itself. We tried calling that number multiple times but nobody ever picked up that damn phone! That is a number that they use to trick you into signing a second contract with them. So right now if I cancel the contract I have to pay $400 plus the plane tickets for about $700 and on top of it drive for three days to arrive to my new state. Not having any other option and getting so frustrated, we decided to send our car with the second contract not even being sure that we will get it in the new state. That couple of days that we were waiting to get our car was so stressful. I made a promise to tell my story here the moment they scammed us and I will make sure to do so in the future. I went through a couple of reviews here and they also reported similar scams from Crystal Car Shipping. I am very sure that most of the reviews you see here are FAKES! My suggestions is to read through your contract with them as they are not responsible for anything according to the contract. There is zero liability for them and they will charge you the moment you sign the contract. After you sing the contract they will show their true face and will play you around however they like it as they already have the money. Be careful and don't trust everyone.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from a car dealer (through CarFax) in another state. The car had to then be transported to me about 1,000 miles. I began to research Car Shipping companies (there were many and it is all works in a rather convoluted manner between agents/brokers and actual carriers (who actually transport the car to you)). After a full day’s research, I narrowed down to 2 shipping companies and contacted them by email. One was Crystal Car Shipping – they had good online reviews. Neil Castro from Crystal Car Shipping began to correspond with me. This was my first time with such a shipment, so I was quite nervous and did not know much. I then got on the phone with Neil and he walked me through the “this is how it will be done”. That itself was very helpful. Then, I told Neil that I was leaning towards using Crystal, but I needed his assurance that he would stay as my only contact and that he would commit to help me throughout the process. I got a formal quote and we began down this path. Neil was superb! The first thing I would say is that he was VERY reassuring throughout. He actually did help bring my anxiety down considerably. As promised, he stayed in regular touch by email and text and even phone calls throughout the process to the very end. He was timely with his end and got a carrier lined up to pick up my car. He communicated those details and then he stayed in touch with the carrier and driver, and me. The car got to me in 3 days, actually a day ahead of schedule and in good shape – no issues there. For completeness, and in fairness to those new to this car shipping business, I will mention this for those who may be doing this for the first time as well – this Car Shipping industry has some interesting “inner workings”. Learn about that. I had nearly 50 solicitations for shipping my car, with prices ranging from $800 - $2300! Neil’s initial quote was close to the low end. By the time he picked a carrier, he called and said it would be $300 more. But at that point, I was getting calls from people telling me my car would not ship for less than $2000-$2500! These requests apparently get on some “national bulletin board” and so everyone knows you are trying to transport a car. Neil was still able to negotiate a decent price and I gave the OK to proceed. By that time, I had a better sense of how this worked – and I had also read many, many reviews by many angry customers about these price changes from initial quotes. Now some companies do guarantee the rates, but these rate variations seem to be the nature of the beast as well – so be well aware and do your research well. I can’t speak to how firm any other quotation may have been – but don’t go with the lowest price company or quote either. Talk to someone as I did with Neil. Get familiar and get comfortable with who you are dealing with. I would highly recommend Neil Castro and Crystal. He did everything he committed to doing and put me at ease throughout the (what for me was) stressful week! Based on the nearly 50 quotes I got, most unsolicited at that (!), the price Neil was able to secure was still at mid-point and Neil helped see the transport through from start to finish. Thanks Neil – great job!!!

Service was great. Communication was great. Connor Santana was respectful and helpful. However, price was almost 3 times the quoted price and I was notified of this 2 days before scheduled pick up after scheduling it weeks in advance. I don’t know if it’s a tactic to lure you in with a lower price and then spring a higher price on you when you have a deadline and nowhere else to go. Connor worked on the contract and got it lowered to almost double the amount I was quoted instead of triple the amount. I was very displeased and upset that this occurred and when you are moving on a budget this hurts!! *****Reply to Company***** Your response is misleading. You only notified me of each change in price 2 days before the pick up date. Actually my pick up date was pushed back and was told there was only one driver in the area for the rest of the month and it wouldn’t matter if I switch brokers because they would all deal with the same driver and he wasn’t changing his price. It was Connor who some how got the driver to come down by $1000 dollars. And i said my service was excellent and my experience was horrible so please read my review carefully and try and not give a general response. It shows disingenuous in your reply.

Shipped car fro VA to GA. Piper Morales was my only contact and she did an excellent job. Made arrangements for on time pick up and delivery. She made sure that the vehicle was delivered with out damage. The driver who picked up was courteous and skilled. Very positive experience.

Great Experience. Working with this company was a breeze! I was able to keep contact through text message which I prefer and I worked with Tina. She kept me updated with all offers that came through and got me as close to my budget as possible, which I appreciated. She was also open and honest with all prices. I was confused because my final price wasn’t the quote price, but it was notified prior that it can change and she explained it well to me as well. The driver, Xavier, was amazing. He updated me when he was an hour away when picking up and dropping off. It arrived on the day it was assigned it. He was a great driver and flexible with me as well. This company picked a great driver to deliver my car. Very happy with my experience!

I was working with Josie and appreciated how responsive she was. We had a hiccup with the pickup the day before but Josie worked very hard and efficiently to get me another transport to get my vehicle from TX to VA. While the price changed slightly, I was happy with the service as the driver got the car in to us sooner than anticipated. Very much appreciated Josie!

They bait & switch you. I'm confident many of these 4 and 5 star reviews are fake. Be sure to keep all your receipts. Your contract, any texts they send you, and a video/audio recording of the initial phone call if you can (which I have). Take pictures and video of your car before they take it. Several days before my car was supposed to be picked up, my driver who initially agreed to take my car across country "got into a major accident and couldn't do the drive anymore". 30 minutes later I got a call from Crystal Car Shipping saying there's 1 driver available in my area and 44 cars that need to be shipped fighting for that one driver. He claimed the new driver was asking way too much but he "should be able to talk him down". It ended up being $400 more the original price. Additionally as they were trying to find me a “new driver”, my information was released again and more competitors were calling me saying they could ship my car for $2400, which was twice the original price. I'm in sales & marketing, and I know exactly what they are doing. Instead I will be driving my own car across the country tailing my husband. The original plan was for my husband and I to leave on Friday, and my car to be picked up on Monday for 1200. Which they requoted today at 1600. I am confident that if I had left my car here for them to pick up several days after me leaving, they would’ve come back with a $2400 quote that I would’ve been stuck with.
