Ich habe mich für eine Schlauchmagen-OP entschieden. Bereits im Vorfeld hat mein Übersetzer Göksu Gökkaya alle relevanten Informationen per WhatsApp übermittelt und mir damit auch die Angst genommen. Der Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel und am nächsten Tag in die Klinik hat reibungslos geklappt, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Fahrer. Das ist ja mal eine Klinik, wow. Das Klinikpersonal war sooo zuvorkommend und dank Göksu gab es keinerlei Verständigungsprobleme. Sowohl die Voruntersuchungen wie auch die Operation verlief problemlos, dank Doktor Arslan. Auch im Anschluss an die Operation habe ich mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und sämtliche Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an die Klinik und vor allem an Göksu Gökkaya. my medical consultant Ata, he was very helpful with booking my flights and answering all my question that I asked. He would always reply back very quickly. he came to visit me while in the hospital and was very friendly and easy to talk to. All round a little nice guy.

Everything went pretty smoothly. Yiğitcan Kolac was my medical consultant via WhatsApp and answered any questions I had very quickly before and even after my surgery when I got home to the UK. I was picked up at the airport in a private mini bus along with other people who were having the same surgery so we all made friends before we got there and shared the excitement and nerves together! The first night we checked into the hotel which was lovley then 8am the next morning we went to the hospital for our pre op checks such as X-ray and ultrasound. I got teary on my way down to theatre but the nurses were so comforting even when sometimes there was a slight language barrier. I chose Dr. Memet kemiksiz to perform my sleeve which went perfectly. When I woke up from surgery i was very uncomfortable from the gas used in the diaphragm but the nurse held my hands and helped me walk it off- felt so relieved. I chose the budget hospital and to be honest the room was big enough for me, the onsuite was pretty modern. The room seemed clean enough although I would advise slippers for walking up and down the ward. My room wasn’t cleaned while I was there but I didn’t really want them to come in to be fair. I had wifi in my room which was great. I advise using google translate with the nurses on shift but I was able to get across what I was saying, they were really lovely. I then spent the last night in the hotel but my only complaint was that on my last day when I was checking out of the hotel at 12 o clock, my flight wasn’t due till 7pm and they wanted £40 to check out late !! I thought this was so extreme considering they know people are recovering from an operation and don’t want to be hanging around in town unnecessarily. In England a check out fee of £20 is reasonable. Seemed abit of a con but this has nothing to do with my over all great experience in the hospital, can’t fault it!

I took 2 years researching hospitals. Settled on Dr Mehmet Deniz. Had followed several people on social media through their journeys. Whole experience from beginning to end was incredibly easy. In the end both my husband and I both had sleeve surgery at the same time. Yunis our coordinator was brilliant always available to answer questions. Staff at the hospital were brilliant, hospital was immaculate, rooms were luxurious. We will always be grateful for our new start in life. Thank you 🙏🏻

Gozde International hospitals provide an amazing service for anyone contemplating having surgery in Turkey. After being available for direct contact all the way from booking up to travelling, for any information required it really helped to make this a comfortable experience. Then we were guided right through the process from pre-op testing through to surgery and post op recovery and discharge. Patient assistants whom I dealt with Devrim Umut and Umut Tekin were extremely helpful being on hand to answer questions immediately. On top of this the surgical and nursing staff were very friendly and helpful too and the hospital is very clean and comfortable with private rooms for all patients. Wouldn’t hesitate to return again if a surgical requirement arises. Thank you to all at Gozde.

I first spoke to my coordinator Afaf who had been nothing but helpful. Even post surgery when I have questions, she has been brilliant. She replies quickly and is so friendly, you sometimes forget she's not your friend. Absolutely brilliant. The hospital was great, all the pre op tests done were so quick and efficient. The staff were amazing. Overall a great experience!

From booking and talking to coordinator to Hospital experience post operation, was smooth, assuring and comfortable. Post operation and being discharged to hotel would recommend the hotel is more geared up to help with meals, snacks so you don’t feel left on your own. Also preparing protein shakes for travel to airport would be helpful

Highly recommend this hospital. My start was from contacting with my coordinator Devrim Umut. He answered all my questions and there was really plenty of them 🙈 He was so friendly and patient and answered them all. Helped me with everything. Had my surgery on Wednesday and tomorrow flying home with no pain, everything was clearly explained, feeling great and positive. All my questions was answered. My doctor Eyup Yeldan was so caring, 10 out of 10. Doctor was visiting to see how I am regularly and staff team is amazing too. Hospital clean. Only positive experience and so happy I made the right choice by choosing this hospital for this my life journey. Thank you so much, you all doing amazing job ❤️

Edit at the bottom. I am having my operation on the 28th November 2023. My surgeon is EY and my coordinator is B Both have been brilliant with communication and any questions I’ve got leading up to Tuesday. Both very professional and if they do not know the answer they will find out and get back to me. I will update my review once I’ve been on Tuesday . So far so good. Well, I’ve had the operation and if u want the raw truth please carry on reading. Firstly things seem to be going well, I’ve lost almost two stone in two weeks. However, I have not been able to talk about my experience with anyone yet as I’m left traumatised by the whole operation! Lots of things happened but the main things that have left me traumatised are, the 20 mins before I was put to sleep. I won’t detail everything as u will get the picture I hope. I was wheeled down to the theatre floor, where I was left in a corridor outside the two theatres. All I could see was someone being Operated on, the door was wide open, the surgeon was hacking away and not only could I see the operation happening I could also see the camera which showed the insides being pulled and cut. The nurses quickly told me off for looking in that direction and shut the theatre door. I was then wheeled in for my turn. I was told to move on to this metal slab (which is what I was guna be operated on) I was wider than the slab. My legs hung off the bottom Before I was laid down the nurses(in there outside coats) were pulling my arms and strapping them down. Another nurse was opening metal instruments and throwing them on my chest like a table- like the metal thing that opens up ur throat to intubate you etc. I was told good nite then they realised my cannula wasn’t working so I was half asleep with the gas they held over my face and then they woken me back up to reposition my cannula. Next thing I remember is being in my room. There was people waiting in a queue outside the theatres - it’s a conveyor belt of meat to them. It doesn’t seem very sterile if I’m honest - they were all wearing coats and their own clothing. Never aww a change of gloves. I kid u not in this hospital stay (3/4days ) I was pricked approximately 40 times as they couldn’t get a vein as I was so dehydrated. The nurses on the ward work 24 hour shifts and don’t know who’s had medication or not. I had to beg for any painkillers They lied and said my antibiotics and saline were pain relief Needless to say I am never having another operation in turkey. There’s loads more I could mention but u get the basics I hope. Good luck

Great experience from start to finish from first consultation with Fitnat who was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed. Dr Arslan is very professional and very caring. Hospital staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and always checking on me to make sure I was ok. Hospital was lovely and clean as was the hotel.

The whole team at Gozde Hospital were amazing, from the initial consultation back in May 2023 with Burcin to the actual surgery in October 2023 with Dr Polat, who was so informative from the beginning to the day I left the hospital. I can't fault anything at all. The care and service was outstanding. I had 360° liposuction and an extended tummy tuck and I'm now feeling like a completely new woman, with so much more self confidence. I'm so happy ☺️

I would highly recommend this hospital as from the day I booked it everything was explained well and I knew what I was expecting when I got there, the hospital is lovely the surgeron was also a really nice man dr arslan, I couldn’t fault him in anyway whatsoever ever. He came to visit me a lot and find out if I was ok, he’s very busy man and had time to even come and let my daddy know the surgery went well. most of the nurses were lovely but other nurses had no time at all for you I think it was due to a langue barrier. My co ordnatior Ali Mert has been brilliant from the very start, he has answered every question and even came to visit me in the hospital and helped with whatever I needed he was there, I would recommend him if you need to start your progress. I have no regrets and the whole experience was worth every minute! I’m a week out from surgery today and I have nearly lost 2 stone, but what I can tell you is if your bringing someone with you bring potnoodles super noodles and stuff to eat for themselves because the food over there is not eatable or enjoyable at all.

I had a great experience with my rhinoplasty. The doctor was highly professional, and the staff, particularly Sepide and Yamur, were exceptional. Their expertise and care made the entire process smooth and reassuring. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend Gozde. I had a gastric sleeve 10.09.23. I asked my medical consultant Mert a millions questions before, during and after my procedure and he was so helpful. I was very impressed with his knowledge and quick response. The hospital and hotel were very clean and I couldn’t fault either of them.
