When choosing a solicitor for our home move, the most important factor was knowing we could trust that our interests were being looked after, and that any work would be dealt with promptly. Our conveyancing matters were handled efficiently and professionally by Ms Bates-Blinkho. Communication was clear and concise. Throughout the process I felt little need to raise any enquires, allowing us to focus on the other time consuming tasks involved with moving house. I would happily recommend using Graysons.

Emma H at Graysons was amazing from start to finish with our recent house purchase. Everything was sent over to us / sorted out promptly and nothing was too much to ask. I do not think our purchase would have gone through without Emma and her pushing the sellers solicitors and completing extra work to ensure we got our home. We will always be using Graysons in the future and are extremely grateful.

Firstly taking on my claim was a huge thing as I have worked for the company for over 10years. Joshua & the Grayson Solicitors team have been knowledgeable, supportive and have guided me through every step of the process from going to locations across the country to get reviews on my Injury’s through to supporting me in getting the court fees sorted as well. Joshua himself has been amazing! From checking in on how I’m doing to be on the ball when providing me with updates! His knowledge and advice from this claim has been nothing sort of invaluable. Things which I have learned through my own experience will stay with me for life. Thank you so much for helping settle this case.

Graysons have now dealt with three different transactions for our family in the past year and they have expedited them with professionalism and efficiently. They have always been on the other end of the phone for any advice throughout which was great.

The wills and probate section were shockingly poor, characterised by delays, errors and omissions to the point where one had to wonder if they were being intentionally obstructive. At a time of grieving the last thing anyone needs is the stress and hassle they caused. Avoid at all costs. The first meeting was with an unkempt individual wearing jeans and a sweatshirt who gave two pieces of advice which directly contradicted the government website. We asked for a different person to deal with, and now regret greatly not walking away at that point. There were far too many delays, errors and omissions to list here. One of the most frustrating incidents related to the sale of the house. The house sale could not be completed until probate was granted. When we were eventually told we had probate we discovered it had actually been granted four weeks previously, but neither us or the conveyancing solicitor (also Graysons) had been informed! The house sale was then delayed a further four months as one purchaser in the chain had pulled out due to the delay. Another notable frustration was that once the house sale completed, the money received from the sale stayed in Graysons account. If they had been organised they could have started paying out immediately, however it took many emails and phone calls before they started paying out two weeks later - this was largely due to a small error in the estate accounts which I pointed out weeks earlier and took only a minute or two to correct.

The process involved a sale only, on a deceased estate, no chain. The process of five months seemed excessively long to completion. There were no great issues that would have delayed the process to my knowledge. Most of the process, contact and form filling done online. The enquiries form appeared to have issues with uploading more than one document in any one section, or accept it may have been user error (me). Additional instructions might have helped. Towards end of completion it felt comforting to finally communicate by speaking with someone, who was helpful and well informed.

We had to deal with one of the biggest Building Companies in the UK, who for months refused to reply to any correspondence sent by Robert Burton of Graysons Solicitors, then when they did, they said it was nothing to do with them, the road conditions were the fault of their subcontractor, when Robert wrote to them, the subcontractor, again they refused to reply to any correspondence, this went on for 2year, then after consulting a barrister we eventually got a reply from the Major company who then admitted liability to my accident, they then offered an amount of compensation, that Robert, advising me not to accept, they then increased that amount to what Robert advised me was a reasonable amount, and to accept, that I did and signed an agreement with them and their insurance company, then again the waiting game started between their insurance company and themselves, saying they missed their payment days, but now, after 2 1/2 years of Robert's persistence the claim has been settled and paid, on the 6th February 2023
