I placed an order one week ago following Manchester marathon, the money has been taken from my account and no confirmation email has been sent. I’ve emailed the only email address listed on the website multiple times and had no reply. Do not buy from AWOL.

Excellent service great photos

I swam the Serpentine which was an all-day event with multiple starting waves. The only photos I have of me are from the exit ramp and the post-event "photoboard". Not a single one of me actually swimming. Granted it's difficult to photgraph swimmers as our heads are in the water a lot. But the problem (in part) seemed to be that they simply stopped taking photos - there are over 20,000 photos from the day, but there massive gaps in the photo timeline at two different locations while I was swimming. The automatic tagging of people (from selfies and bib numbers) doesn't work. The only auto-tagged images I had are of someone else. They weren't event from a time when I might have been in the water (before my wave time). I had to go in and search for myself. This was made really difficult by the website being almost unusable, compounded by them including photos from previous days which meant that in the timeline slider for several locations all the photos were bunched into the far end, making it awkward to filter by time. They do take a lot of photos, so you might have a good experience. I didn't.

Pictures ordered - and paid - never received and despite my inquiries, no resolution. Emails un-answered for several days. Very disappointing.

Image quality is OK but the background process is not great. After tagging myself, my images would not appear in My Orders and it took support tickets to get them to appear. After fixing this, I could only download some of the images as the others were ALMOST READY. I had to raise further support calls to get this fixed. The support team were very helpful and did come back to me to try and help, but the process of making images available for download is clearly not automated and needs improvement. As of today I do have all my images downloaded so it has been four days. Other than that, I am happy

High quality pics and good coverage of the race I took part in (Dragon Ride 2021). Expensive, but you get a discount if you buy in advance.

The system didn’t allow for teams so leg one and two of relay couldn’t see pics, Poppy was able to quickly find bike leg pics for us. Unfortunately no swim leg pics as yet but we are still hopeful

The photographers on the day were great fun. Post event I had some issues downloading the images which were sorted promptly by Poppy. The images were of excellent quality, super high resolution and there were loads of them! AWOL are great.

I was experiencing problems accessing my bundle and Steven couldn’t do enough to help

I stupidly entered my email incorrectly as I was in a rush. I sent AWOL an email to explain. They replied and sorted out the issue along with sending me my download within an hour!

My images were not tagged when they were released. After supplying some recent running photos of myself in my club vest my photos were tagged and ready within minutes - great service

Superb event photographers and easy to locate race pictures. Any problems and a quick email is all that’s needed to sort it. Friendly after event service!

Great pictures at various locations on the course, pre order service recommended as there were plenty of shots. Great to capture the action. Can be shared to Facebook for family and friends.
