The product is average good, but the Web Dashboard is the MOST confusing website I've ever been in. It is so frustrating... It's hard to do anything... We have one account with 2 sub accounts and just being able to find the phone numbers you are using is just... and ordeal. I recommend part of the product, but the website needs serious rethinking. Also, the SDK/API is VERY confusing. It is very hard to set up yourself. I've also reported many bugs in the libraries that got fixed, but brutally interrupted development.

Don't take me wrong, I love Twilio : developer-friendly, always reliable, nice web interface, couldn't really ask any better. But the main drawback, IMHO, is the SMS pricing, which is 2 or 3 times the price of the competition for many destinations. I did contact support about this issue, but unless I could commit to a huge amount of SMS every month, they couldn't do anything about the pricing. So this reason alone makes me look for a competitor, and I'll end up leaving Twilio heartbroken. I would love to give you 5 stars guys, but please, revise your pricing! ;-)

Service is great but support doesn't match that .. Agents assigned seem to have low technical knowledge of their job. Sometimes they state wrong facts and I just grab stuff from documentation to prove them otherwise. One of the last problems I encountered, is asking support to add some features to Official Xamarin Twilio Client SDK which they have done several times before. However, this time the agent said that the Xamarin SDK is not an official Twilio SDK and not supported by Twilio. I proved him wrong by sharing Xamarin Twilio Component that says clearly the publisher is "Twilio". He said, yeah that was a side project of an employee and it is not officially supported by us and you have to update the binding yourself from a Github project !! If that's wrong then that's a problem and if that's true, then that's even a worse problem ! Best Regards

I was quite surprised on how pro-active the employees were: I signed up for the service, and was contacted the same day with a gentle email: "Is there anything I can do to help?" The couple of questions I had were answered quickly and accurately. My project and I were actually *supported* by customer support!

If you need a communications API then look no further. Twilio has a first-class communications API for voice and messaging. They're a delight to work with.

My company has been a Twilio customer for a few years. Through a careful pilot-then-proceed period, we have fully implemented Twilio's programmable voice/SMS into our call center's daily operations. When we have encountered challenges in implementation, Twilio's account management, product management and support teams have been responsive and helpful. More recently, we have been testing and implementing some of Twilio's newer capabilities, which are in-progress and going well. Twilio has been a core enabler for our success.

During the very early days of Twilio it was crazy to think of a company that so focused their marketing efforts on software developers but what Twilio did during those days, and continues to do today, has been quite refreshing. Twilio seeks to provide developers with an incredible toolbox that they can take with them throughout their travels or their own startups. As a company, Transaction Warehouse has so easily implemented Twilio into our stack that we can focus exclusively on executing our original goals and doing so quickly. Well done, Twilio. Fans for life over here.

The service is great. Calls are clean. I use the service for call tracking and customers do not even know they are calling a tracking number.
