United Kingdom | 06 February 2025Scam company. You will never be able to stop them charging you or close your account. In the end I have had to take legal action.

United Kingdom | 06 February 2025This company repeatedly sells phone numbers to scammers and low rent law firms, who then try to hassle/scam people. Too often I am called, check the number, find out it’s a scammer and the number owned by this company. They don’t care as long as they are paid and do not vet the companies/people they sell to. If they do, they do a crap jib of it.

United Kingdom | 06 February 2025When I am reading these reviews, I am just thinking if Twilio has anything to do with them. Because you cannot judge Twilio if a person scams people using phone numbers provided by Twilio, right? Will you give 0-stars to AT&T when someone scams you with AT&T sim cards? Exactly. I cannot talk much about their customer service, since I don't have too much experience regarding this matter. But if you are using Twilio, you need to have curiosity and tech mind, otherwise, process will be harder to manage. As a person with Tech background, I can say it was very smooth and intelligent to setup your own system in a system that provides you infrastructure. This is it. I see some people compare Twilio with Telnyx. That should be a huge joke. Twilio is a NASDAQ company with Infrastructure as a Service model business. While Telnyx is a private company that automatically blocks accounts without a cause, rejects to delete your account and its data, generate a mess out of everything. There is not a single topic Telnyx could be better. Don't go into such traps. As the reliability, I have been testing Twilio ever since I generated the account and connected it. I am receiving calls and making calls without any problems. It might be costly if you have financial limitations, but everything is clear on their website. You should know what you are doing if you are using Twilio. In terms of rates, most of the other systems offer pricing not cheaper than Twilio. But if you are doing international call forwarding with advanced setups, that could hurt you little if you are on the first steps of your startup. However, in terms of cost optimization, SIP Trunk is always there. You don't have to use it with call forwarding to stay connected on mobile setting. You can automate it with SIP trunk that will be cost optimized. I like the interface, and multiple structures of ways to do things. You can use flows, different programming languages, bins etc. There are almost no companies provide such things. This is very respectful approach of doing things. I found it corporate fitting systems. I think if you remove irrelevant negative reviews and competitor reviews from here, most likely they will have 4-5 stars as long as if people knows how to use IaaS. But if they expect more, their ratings will go down to 3 stars, not definitely 1. I recommend to those tech-savvy companies to use Twilio. But if you have no tech grounds and cannot even use ChatGPT, then just go for some other companies with more customer engagement offerings.

United Kingdom | 06 February 2025Produced Authy which was amazing - I would have paid for it with some extra features. They discontinued the Mac app but that's fine you can (sort of not super easy but works) use the iOS app on a Mac.. until Feb 2025 when they broken that and said you need to upgrade but you can't - but now all of a sudden WITHOUT NOTICE broken this. This is not how a company tasked with security should deal with anyone. We need regulation to bring 2FA exporting in so you can switch apps. I believe I have all mine backed up but it's a painful process to go through them one by one onto a new system.

United Kingdom | 01 February 2025I’m number 600 on here…the reviews are barely over 1 star…says an awful lot about Twilio and their lack of integrity. Like many, I am the victim of bad actors that abused my setting and restrictions, I am facing a £4000 bill after our card was auto-recharged. Their team have offered a partial refund and are now hiding between terms and conditions and Zendesk!!

United States | 31 January 2025I read these reviews and have to agree 1000% I only wish I would have found these first. this service doesn't work at all but they will gladly take your money. They have no number to reach out for customer service and no clear way of correcting any of the issue you a surely to come across.

United Kingdom | 31 January 2025Daily spam phone calls from various UK numbers owned by Twilio. Each time the number is blocked they call from another different number. More than annoying. They need to be stopped

United States | 29 January 2025🚨 Twilio is a SCAM – Avoid at All Costs! 🚨 ⭐ 1/5 (Would give 0 if I could!) I upgraded my Twilio account, deposited money, and called my own number to test the service—and what did Twilio do? Instantly suspended my account and locked me out with no warning! They took my money and won’t let me use the service I PAID for. Now, they’re making me go through a ridiculous "verification process" just to get access to my own account. Meanwhile, they have my money and refuse to provide service. Common Twilio Issues (That Happened to Me) 💰 Take your money, then suspend you instantly 🛑 No warning, no clear reason—just "fraud prevention" BS ⏳ Customer support is slow or ignores refund requests 🔒 Once banned, your account is basically dead I requested a refund immediately, but their support ignores tickets or takes days to respond. If I don’t get my money back, I will dispute the charge with my bank because this feels like a scam. 🚨 DO NOT USE TWILIO. There are way better alternatives like Plivo, Vonage, or Google Voice that won’t steal your money and ban you for no reason. If you’re reading this, avoid Twilio at all costs. This company is a joke.

United Kingdom | 29 January 2025Review process is lacking, bot's automatically flag anything as spam. Not good.

United Kingdom | 28 January 2025Sells numbers to spammers and scammers without any checks at all, if you had any decency twilio, you'd stop this. Here's a few numbers to start blocking if you choose to do so: 0131 381 8700 01254 963847 01904 935701 01908 103106 01908 103575 0151 453 2641 01733 964863 01332 215507 020 4538 7963 020 4538 9802 0161 524 8409 0151 453 1776

United Kingdom | 17 January 2025Total scumbags. The sell numbers en masse to anyone. Their director, most likely in name only, is Chinese, Juliana Chen. Been contacted every days for weeks by some idiots pretending to be from 3 mobile, diesel emissions and some other garbage. They are fraudsters and this company continues to sell them numbers which means they are just as guilty. I have complained to the Garda Anti Bribery and Corruption Unit which you should as well and see if we can get this Chen person charged.

United Kingdom | 15 January 2025Scam calls day and night from this company. They should be shut down by the ICO.

United States | 14 January 2025wish i could give zero stars. I tried to use their service to start developing a project for a client. Integrated with them and everything, then they deactivated my account for "suspicious activity" without giving me a chance to prove I am doing this for legitimate reasons. Unbelievable.
