Friendly and helpful .

From the start with the initial meeting, the salesperson was very polite, informative and explained costs and timings. The next visit was from a surveyor to view the property and take measurements. On the day of the work, the two installers were very quick, very professional and helpful. They did a great job and cleaned up to our satisfaction afterwards.I would thoroughly recommend Smiths to others.

For this purchase and installation should really have given 5* but bearing in mind previous poor experience of this company, withheld that final accolade.

Didn't fit the door when said they would and then accused me of lying. They offered 0% credit then tried to get me to apply for a loan from Barclays. So the 0% isn't worth the hassle. Eventually fitted and to a high standard. I have no complaints regarding the product and fitting, but the customer service was quite poor.

Smith Glass Ltd fitted my new sliding patio door. The fitters were professionals, they got on with the job and did not make a fuss about any issues. Also did not have any issue with sales team, they gave me a reasonable price and the whole process was completed within the expected time.

Fantastic service provided and very happy with the end product. We do have one slight issue with condensation on a seal on our front door but I believe this will be rectified as soon as practically possible under the current circumstances. From the price to the installation I really couldn't rate this company high enough. Avoid at all costs! All nice and prompt before taking your money. After, when the windows mist up and you try to get hold of them to sort out ..... Well, lets just say good luck! You will need it. They are still operating enough (during Covid) to quote and fit but not able to deal with warranty issues, what a surprise! Been told my warranty on glazing units has expired (sealed units now have moisture and misting on the inside) my contract clearly states they are covered for 10 years yet they try to lie and tell me they are not covered, "we only cover the frames" I am unable to reply to Smiths on thought would update: Original Contract states 10 years against defects, I have now received from you your "new" contract in which I am surprised to see the terms have changed. This review is regarding you after sales in a hope you will uphold you part of our original and existing contract. I am surprised you cant find my previous messages, they are numerous, these were all made directly via your website "contact us" page many weeks ago. In all honesty, I wish I had just posted on here, your reply was almost instant! Have now received 3 emails AND a phone call - all about my moan, nothing to do with resolving the failed glazing unit!

When the gentleman from Smith's came to appraise my windows and door he was polite and business like in his way of working, he was concise in his work and offered me a choice of the windows and door. The fitter was very quick in fitting the windows as well as clean and tidy, he left no mess when he had finished and took away the old windows and surrounds. The service was very good and I have no faults or gripes to pass on. I cannot fault the service or the service I received from this company and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
