Never ever buy again.the price is absolutely cheating.its sale price on their Web,but finally you will be cost for £15 in next your bank statement,they said this is membership cost.

I am very disappointed in this service. I bought two books which have never arrived and now I am reading that I may have inadvertently signed up for a monthly membership which I was not aware of. I have emailed multiple times asking for information about the books and had zero response. Do not use this service!

I have had the same experience as other people here, after buying a book for £4.50 I have been charged £15 with absolutely no warning of this happening. I have emailed my complaint and was told someone would get back to me in 5 working days, it has exceeded this and still no response. Please do not buy from them.

It is indeed a scam. Same as everyone else here I ordered a book and upon checking my credit card statement find I've been enrolled in membership. Absolutely no confirmation, acknowledgement of payment. Inertia selling. They should be stopped from trading.

Kan bara instämma i vad jag ser att andra har skrivit. Ett rent bedrägligt företag som lurar dig att skaffa medlemskap och sen är du fast med en månadskostnad på 129 kronor i minst en månad eller om du inte lusläser ditt bankkonto, längre tid än så. Min allra starkaste avrådan från att ha samröre med dem och deras affärsmodell. Deras böcker finns överallt på andra ställen också, stöd något annat.

Disgraceful business. I gave one star because, at least, I received the 2x children’s books. Now, 10 days later, I have I been charged this £15. (Only after reading the reviews, too late, did I know of any subsequent monthly charge to my account.). I have immediately stopped my credit card, and will broadcast in every possible way this appalling, underhand business.

En slingrande design på hemsidan olikt andra företag gör så att man lätt blir lurad till en prenumeration istället för ett one-time köp. När man försöker stänga av prenumerationen så visar det sig att man inte kan logga in, steget man tar då vanligtvis är att nollställa lösenordet, men då ger sidan en error antingen med avsikt och girighet eller pga spagettikod. Att företaget fortfarande existerar och tjänar pengar är endast pga denna lömska och giriga praktik. Att ta betalt för en tjänst som inte används är något dom älskar.

Har varken handlat eller sett deras sida förut men plötsligt såg jag att de har dragit 129kr från mitt konto. Synd att det inte går att polis änmla, får nog ringa och fråga om va de håller på med.

Like others, I googled a book title I wanted, this site showed up and I ordered the book ( I actually thought it was second hand as it was priced at £4.49) I received no notification that I’d signed up for a subscription and I didn’t see any such notification on the pages as I ordered. I only found out when £15 was taken from my bank account. The strange thing is when I tried to investigate on the Buuks website I didn’t even have an account I could sign into. I had to apply for a password. This, to me, is further indication of a scam. Avoid this company. Their phone line is only open for two hours each morning. What sort of company has that arrangement ? I’m not holding my breath on getting my £15 refunded.

Warning! This is not a serious business model. They intend to deceive their customers with a hidden monthly fee. No emails or receipts are sent to you, the money is paid automatically from your debit card every month without your knowledge. Contacting their customer service makes no difference.

l purchased a book which l thought was a good and fair price so l placed an order for it. Unknowingly when odering the book l was automatically signed up for a membership. This was made unclear at purchase, otherwise l would not have signed up to it and it is a disgusting con and the company are no more than scammers. Do not use this company under any circumstances - rip off merchants!! NO STARS FROM ME

I made a one off purchase was not aware this deceitful company was signing me up to s book club at ,£15 per month !! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY I shall be reporting them to my bank as fraudulent

Deceitful and shameful company. Signing you up for a subscription fee without your consent or making you aware that by buying a book with them, that you are giving consent is shameful practices.

Scam, not happy at all, what company subscribes you without making it clear or giving a clear opt out option ! £19.49 for a book that was only £4.49 - devious behaviour, the company should be ashamed of themselves ! I'd like my 'subscription' refunded but I doubt that will happen.

Även jag har blivit lurad av detta företag. Betalt medlemskap i över 1 år utan att jag märkt något. Kanske jag får skylla mig själv. Dock är det svårt att veta att man bundit upp sig för detta medlemskap då det inte framkommer i orderbekräftelsen att man gjort just det. Inte heller får man ett mail en gång i månaden där det står att pengarna kommer dras. Faktum är att jag inte fått ett enda mail av företaget sedan jag köpte boken i januari 2020. Inte med reklam. Ingenting. Som om de vill vara säkra på att man inte ska komma ihåg att de finns.

Absolutely disgusting page. They should make more clearly that you'll be paid for membership 15£!!! I did find it only on.my bank account that I'll be paid 15 every each month for this membership. Sell the books! Don't fraud people!!!
